THE NATIONS GROPE IN DARKNESS

Today, we are witnessing the Nations

Groping in the Darkness of their Unbelief;

Blinded by the “god” of this Age:

For the “god” of this World has Blinded the Unbeliever's minds

(That they should discern the Truth),

Preventing them from seeing the Illuminating Light of the Gospel

Of the Glory of Christ, the Messiah,

Who is the Image and likeness of God.

(2 Corinthians 4:4, AMP)

For behold, Darkness shall cover the Earth,

And Dense Darkness ALL THE PEOPLES;

But the Lord shall arise upon You, [O Jerusalem] (and all who Believe),

And His glory shall be seen on You.

[Mal. 4:2; Isa. 60:19-22; Rev. 21:2, 3.]

(And at the return of Christ Jesus)

Nations shall come to your Light

(The Light of Christ in those who Believe),

And kings to the Brightness of your rising [Isa. 2:2, 3; Jer. 3:17.]

Why do the Nations assemble with Commotion

[Uproar and Confusion of voices],

And why do the People imagine

(Meditate upon and devise) and Empty Scheme.

The kings of the Earth take their places;

the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord

And His Anointed One—the Messiah, the Christ.

They say, [Acts 4:25-27.]

LET US BREAK THEIR BANDS [of restraint] asunder,

And Cast Their Cords [of Control] from us.

HE Who sits in the Heavens Laughs;

The Lord has them in Derision

[And in Supreme Contempt HE MOCKS THEM].

HE speaks to them in His Deep Anger,

and troubles (terrifies and confounds ) them

In His Displeasure and fury, saying,

YET have I Anointed [Installed and placed] My King

[Firmly] on My Holy Hill of Zion.

(Psalm 2:1-6, AMP)

And the Heathen (the Nations) RAGED,

But Your WRATH (retribution, indignation) came,

The time when the dead will be judged

And to reward Your Servants, the Prophets and Saints,

And those who Revere (fear) Your Name,

Both Low and High and Small and Great;

And [the time] for Destroying the CORRUPTERS of the Earth. Ps. 2:1.]

(Revelation 11:18, AMP)

Your Hand shall find ALL Your Enemies;

Your Right Hand shall find ALL THOSE WHO HATE YOU.

You will make them as if in a Blazing Oven in the time of Your Anger;

the Lord will Swallow them up in His WRATH,

AND THE FIRE WILL UTTERLY CONSUME THEM.

Their Offspring You will Destroy from the Earth,

And their sons from among the children of men.

FOR THEY PLANNED EVIL AGAINST YOU;

They Conceived a Mischievous PLOT

Which they are not able to Perform

For You will make them turn their back;

You will aim Your Bow [of Divine Justice] at their Faces.

Be Exalted, Lord, in Your Strength;

We will Sing and Praise Your Power.

(Psalm 21:8-13, AMP)

The Lord brings the Counsel of the Nations to NOUGHT;

He make the thoughts and Plans of the Peoples of NO EFFECT.

The Counsel of the Lord stands FOR EVER,

The thoughts of His heart to all generations.

Blessed—happy, fortunate [to be envied]

IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD,

The People He has chosen as His Heritage.

The Lord looks from Heaven,

He beholds all the sons of men.

From His Dwelling Place

He looks [intently] upon all the inhabitants of the Earth

He Who fashions the hearts of them all,

Who considers ALL THEIR DOINGS.

NO KING is saved by the great size and Power of his army;

A mighty man is not delivered by by his much strength.

A horse is Devoid of value for Victory;

Neither does he deliver any by his great Power.

BEHOLD, the Lord's eye is upon those who Fear Him--

Who Revere and Worship Him with Awe;

Who wait for Him and Hope in His Mercy and Loving Kindness,

To Deliver them from Death, and keep them Alive in Famine.

Our Inner Selves wait [earnestly] for the Lord;

He is our Help and our Shield.

For IN HIM does our heart rejoice,

Because we have Trusted (relied on and been confident)

In His Holy Name.

Let Your Mercy and Loving Kindness O Lord,

Be upon us in Proportion to our Waiting and Hoping for You.

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man.

(Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
