CHRIST: THE LIVING STONE LAID IN ZION

As you come to Him (Christ), The Living Stone—rejected by men

But chosen by God and precious to Him--

You also, like Living Stones, are being built into a Spiritual House

To be a Holy Priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God

Through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:

'See, I lay a Stone (Christ) in Zion a chosen and Precious Cornerstone,

And the one who trusts in Him will never be put to shame,'

Now to you who believe, this Stone is precious.

But to those who do not believe,

'The Stone the builders rejected has become the Capstone,

And, 'a Stone that causes men to stumble

And a Rock that makes them fall.'

They stumble because they disobey the MESSAGE--

Which is also what they were destined for.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a Holy Nation,

A people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him

Who called you out of DARKNESS into His wonderful light.

Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God;

Once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Dear friends, I urge you, as Aliens and Strangers in the World

To abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.

Live such good lives among the Pagans

That, though they accuse you of doing wrong,

They may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.

(1 Peter 2:4-12)

Christ Jesus is the Living Stone chosen by God but Rejected by men.

Most people have Rejected Christ Jesus and His Message in every generation.

In the End the Whole World Rejects Him and worships Satan and his son.

(Revelation 13)

Zion is the Spiritual House built by God

That God has been preparing throughout the ages.

It consists of Living Stones (those alive in Christ), a Holy Priesthood,

Who offer spiritual sacrifices (worship) acceptable to God.

Zion is The Body of Christ, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation,

A people belonging to God,

That we may declare the praises of Him

Who called us out of DARKNESS into His wonderful light.

The apostle Paul says:

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched

And that is burning with fire;

To darkness, gloom and storm;

To a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words,

So that those who heard it begged that no further world be spoken to them,

Because they could not bear what was commanded:

'If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.'

The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, 'I am trembling with fear.'

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the Heavenly Jerusalem,

The City of the Living God (Zion).

You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

To the Church of the Firstborn (Christ), whose names are written in Heaven.

You have come to God, the Judge of all men,

To the spirits of Righteous men made perfect,

To Jesus the Mediator of a New Covenant,

And to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

SEE TO IT THAT YOU DO NOT REFUSE HIM WHO SPEAKS.

If they did not escape when they refused Him who warned them on earth,

How much less will we, if were turn away from Him who warns us from Heaven?

At that time His voice shook the earth,

But now He has promised,

'Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens,'

The words 'once more' indicate the removing of what can be shaken--

That is created things—so that what cannot be shaken, may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken,

Let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably

With reverence and awe,

For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:18-29)

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man.

(Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
