CHRIST: “CONTENTIOUS AND DIVISIVE”

In a recent Court case in the State of New York

The Children First Foundation, A Pro-Adoption agency,

Wanted to put “Choose Life” on its vehicle license plate.

The state rejected the slogan arguing that:

“no plate shall be issued … which is, in the discretion of the commissioner, obscene, lewd, lascivious, derogatory to a particular ethnic or other group, or patently offensive.”

The state letter said, “Despite [the organization's] laudable goals and purposes, the message chosen to convey them, as indicated in the application, is subject to varying interpretations at best, and may even be misleading.”

The state said it “will not place an instrument on public roadways which may engender violent discourse among drivers.”

The case was appealed to the 2^nd Circuit Federal Appeals Court

The court said the messages clearly are private speech and have First Amendment protection, but the state’s program, giving officials the authority to approve or disapprove messages at their own discretion, was legitimate.

The court argued state policies stipulated no plates would be approved regarding issues that are “so contentious and divisive.”

The decision, however, drew a rebuke from First Amendment expert and prominent legal commentator Eugene Volokh. He said a dissent pointed out the failure of that logic.

He quoted the dissent: “Despite rejecting the ‘Choose Life’ and “Restore the Wolf’ plates on the ground that they were ‘contentious and divisive,’ the commissioner had no trouble approving three separate ‘Union Yes’ plates, along with a custom plate bearing the legend ‘Support Police’ and featuring a cross-hair and blood splatter. The commissioner argues that there is no inconsistency in these decisions, because abortion and wolf restoration are in a different class, in terms of the societal debate that they provoke.

It is critical for Christians to understand where the American Society is at.

Good is called Evil and Evil, Good.

Abortion Murder is Good in the eyes of this American Society

And promoting Adoption as an alternative is Evil, not to be mentioned;

CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE.

This means that what is Good and True before the Living God:

“CHOSE LIFE,” is CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE.

This means that the Society has made what is Right before God,

CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE.

This means that for the Society, the Word of God is

CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE

This means that Christ Jesus is CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE;

And therefore Christians who believe and Adhere to the Word of God are,

CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE.

Christ Jesus has told us that this would be the case;

Satan Rules this Wicked World of which America is a part. (1 John 5:19)

Listen to what Christ Jesus said:

'Do not suppose that I have come to bring Peace to the earth.

I did not come to bring Peace, but a sword.

For I have come to turn a man against his father,

A daughter against her mother,

A daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--

A man's Enemies will be the members of his own household.' [Micah 7:6.]

(Matthew 10:34-36)

Christ and His Word are in fact, CONTENTIOUS and DIVISIVE.

Not only to the godless Culture, but to ALL who do not believe it.

Every person either believes it OR NOT!

If you believe it, the Unregenerated Culture is AGAINST YOU.

Their minds have been Blinded by the “god” of this Age:

For the god of this World has Blinded the Unbelievers minds

(That they should not discern the TRUTH),

Preventing them from seeing the Illuminating light of the Gospel

Of the Glory of Christ, the Messiah,

Who is the Image and likeness of God.

(2 Corinthians 4:4, AMP)

Christ Jesus said:

'The World HATES Me, because I DENOUNCE it for its Wicked Works

And reveal that its doings are Evil.

(John 7:7, AMP)

Every Christian should understand that his CONTENTION

Between God and His Word and the godless Culture

IS NOT RESOLVABLE.

The only thing that Resolves it

Is REPENTANCE on the part of those who DO NOT Believe;

And we pray the many will Repent and turn to God.

That is the heart of God.

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
