[Watch] Is Obama Hiding a Serious Drug Problem?

David Gibson - 12/16/2014 - UFP News

Among the many as yet unanswered questions surrounding Barack Obama is his health. While that may seem a bit peculiar considering the fact that he is still a relatively young man by today’s standards, it is Obama himself who has created this situation by refusing to release his medical records…

In May 2008, the Obama campaign released a one-page statement written by Chicago physician Dr. David L. Scheiner. The 276 word report claimed that Obama had a cholesterol level of 173, and that in the prior 21 years, he had only been treated for “upper respiratory infections, skin rashes and minor injuries.”

Obama’s medical records were not released and Obama refused to even talk about the matter any further. Of course, his supporters in the mainstream press were happy to comply with his lack of honesty.

In contrast, then-candidate John McCain released more than 1,100 pages of his medical records, which even included a psychological profile. These records detailed injuries he suffered as a result of being shot down over North Vietnam, and the results of the years of torture at the hands of his guards, as well as details on his four bouts with skin cancer. The report even discussed his behavior as a young boy.

When he took the Oath of Office, became Obama the third youngest president in U.S. history. He is an avid basketball player and appears to be very fit.

So what is he hiding?

By Obama’s own admission, we know that he was heavily involved in the use of illegal drugs and alcohol. In his book “Dreams From My Father,” Obama wrote: “I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it.”

“Junkie. Pothead. That’s where I’d been headed: the final fatal role of the young would-be black man,” he continued.

We know that Obama is prone to addiction because he has tried and failed many times to quit smoking (also stated by Dr. Scheiner in his summary). We also know that Obama has regularly used marijuana and cocaine. It is not much of a leap to then assume that at some time, he was addicted to these drugs as well.

Millions of Americans become addicted to drugs and alcohol every year. Many of those people also enter rehab centers seeking help with their addictions. Why should we assume that Obama is any different?

Because Obama has not been open about much of his past and the press is now serving as his willing accomplice in the matter, we have no way of knowing the extent to which Obama has used illegal drugs.

A very telling sign in such behavior is a long absence from the workplace. However, Obama will not release his records from his time in the Illinois State Senate, nor can we see the records of his work at the law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill, & Galland.

The government watchdog group known as Judicial Watch has tried to search his State Senate records, but to no avail. That group’s leader Tom Fitton, once  said: “Nobody knows where they are, if they exist at all, Obama’s story keeps changing.”

We the people, have the right to know if the man in the White House has ever received treatment for drug addiction. After all, if someone cannot handle the rigors of college, marriage, or career without resorting to the use of drugs…How could they possibly handle the responsibilities and tremendous stress which goes along with the most powerful job in the world?

Of course, we do not know for certain that Obama’s drug use hindered him to the point of seeking professional help, but many signs point in that direction. However, he could clear up the entire matter by releasing all of his medical records.

More recently, he was rushed to Bethesda Naval Medical Hospital on a Saturday for a “sore throat.”

What a shame we no longer have a press which understands their responsibility to the public and are willing to ask the hard questions!

Does Obama appear to be inebriated in this recent video?
