He voiced his displeasure to a recent decision by the University of Maryland to cancel a presentation of the blockbuster film “American Sniper” in capitulation to the school’s Muslim Students Association objected. That organization referred to the picture as “Islamophobic and nationalist.”
Islamophobic is a largely meaningless term used to demean those who oppose the supplanting of American culture with a Sharia-based alternative somehow portraying those who resist as being irrationally fearful. Fear and enlightened resistance are two different things.
Their argument that nationalism is somehow offensive is an indicator that they have immigrated to the wrong country. Americans, at least those who remain patriotic, are fiercely nationalistic.
CNSNews highlighted Reverend Graham’s reaction which he voiced in a recent Facebook post, suggesting that for the benefit of all involved, the offended Muslims should be making travel plans. Graham wrote:
