AMERICAN WOMEN TRIED TO BUILD BOMBS

What These Americans Wanted To Do For ISIS Is Haunting, Everyone Needs To See This

Federal authorities arrested 28-year-old Noelle Velentzas and 31-year-old Asia Siddiqui in Queens, N.Y. after months of an investigation by the FBI. Inspired by ISIS, the radical roommates met frequently with an undercover FBI agent to discuss their progress of learning the science for building explosives and to analyze previous bomb plots in the U.S.
The undercover investigation also discovered the two had downloaded “The Anarchist Cookbook” and frequently watched instructional videos on how to construct bombs. In their meeting with the undercover FBI agent, they expressed anger with the U.S. for attacking ISIS via airstrikes in Syria and Iraq. Velentzas also requested that she and Siddiqui be acknowledged as “citizens of the Islamic State.” The undercover meetings included many viewings of ISIS propaganda videos as well.

Velentzas told the undercover agent that she was hoping to make history and discussed possible locations to target. In addition to Velentzas’ radical ideas, Siddiqui had acquired a collection of bomb ingredients- including multiple propane tanks and instructions on how to build bombs with the tanks.

The two women radicalized by ISIS have distant connections to other notorious ISIS influences, such as New Jersey native Tairod Pugh, a Facebook friend of theirs who was recently indicted for ISIS-inspired plans. Shortly following Pugh’s arrest, Velentzas expressed it was unnecessary for radicals to join ISIS overseas when there are several options to please Allah in the United States. Siddiqui was also allegedly close with Samir Khan, who is responsible for several terror plots- including the tragic bombing in Boston.

Watch CNN’s coverage of the chilling news.

Velentzas and Siddiqui were committed to completing their own plans for jihad. Thankfully the extensive undercover FBI operation kept the public from ever being in danger.
