BREAKING: Netanyahu Issues Blunt Message to Obama About His Visit… White House Furious
President Barack Obama may not fear the notion of a nuclear-armed Iran, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu surely does! And this is why he remains hellbent on coming to the United States this week “to try to stop the emerging agreement that is a danger to the State of Israel,” Newsmax reported.
“It is my duty as Israeli prime minister, and as one who looks out for the future of the Jewish people, to do everything possible to convince the sole body (Congress) capable of perhaps preventing such a deal,” he told a conservative Jewish radio station.
This blunt statement, which is the most defiant thing he’s said so far about the negotiations between Iran and the United States, puts him in full opposition to Obama, who it seems is committed to bending over backwardsto Iran’s whims.
Netanyahu also stated that he “respected and appreciated the strategic ties between Israel and the United States,” but that his nation’s survival comes first.
“When the issue at hand is our very existence, what is expected of a prime minister?” he asked rhetorically. “Should he bow down and accept the danger for the sake of a relationship?”
Indeed. A nuclear-armed Iran would be far more dangerous to the fragile state of Israel than mere petty beefs with our president.
Netanyahu also shared his belief that that most Americans agree with his stance. His belief happens to be spot-on correct.
According to a new Gallup poll cited by Newsmax, only a meager 11 percent of the nation views Iran positively.
Yet the administration continues to blast him left and right. National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Secretary of State John Kerry are some of his biggest critics.
Speaking of which, Kerry has no intention of attending Netanyahu’s speech, on the premise that he needs to be overseas. Neither President Obama nor Vice President Joe Biden plan to attend either.
No surprise there, nor any great loss. It’s not like either of them would be likely to accept, or even understand, the logical arguments Netanyahu is likely to put forth.
My comments: Obama is at odds with Netanyahu because Netanyahu will not agree to the DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL. It is that simple. Iran exists to DESTROY Israel--theIr Koran DEMANDS THIS! Netanyahu and Israel have NO CHOICE, but to oppose Obama. We pray that the Congress will agree with Netanyahu and do SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
