BEN CARSON WARNS MUSLIM ALLIANCE COULD 'DESTROY' U.S.

'I believe that they believe that we are evil'

Likely Republican 2016 presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who recently launched an exploratory committee to test the White House waters, said on a nationally syndicated radio show that a possible Shia-Sunni union would prove hazardous to the United States.

Host Hugh Hewitt first asked Carson how he saw the threat of ISIS versus that of Iran, North Korea, Russia and China. And Carson’s response?

He said America’s “biggest enemies” come from the Sunni Muslim side – or, ISIS, Mediaite reported. He then brought up the Shia influence.

“There are a number of sponsored terrorist groups that emanate from the Shia, which are based primarily in Iran,” he said, on the radio show. “Right now, they’re fighting each other in Iraq, admittedly. But in the long run, I think they would gladly unite against us in their attempt to destroy the United States, our way of life, and Israel. And we have to be extraordinarily careful about any alliances with them.”

Hewitt pointed to the uniqueness of Carson’s view, saying he was pretty much alone “in positing the prospect of a Shia-Sunni alliance” and reminding how “they are at each other’s throats right now, aren’t they?”

Carson agreed, but said the tide could one day change.

“There’s no question they’re at each other’s throats,” he said, Mediaite reported. “And it’s tempting for us to say, you know, the enemy of our enemy is our friend. But I do not believe that for one second. I believe that they believe that we are evil, and they want us destroyed.”

My comments: The Koran DEMANDS that the Islamists DESTROY all the INFIDELS. It is that simple--whether Sunni or Shia.
