PHOTOS: People Are Claiming to See Something Shocking in the Northern Lights Over Iceland

Jon Hilmarsson, 48, captured an amazing photograph while taking pictures of the aurora borealis, better know as the Northern Light.
His 10-year-old son had prompted him to take the pictures near Akranes, Iceland and he is probably glad he did.
At one point while the red, green and purple light display moved, Hilmarsson captured what appeared to be an image similar to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janerio, Brazil.
“This was the most beautiful and vivid northern light display I have ever seen,” said Jon. (H/T blessings.buzz)
