America’s Stomach Problems

OK, I can’t remain silent on this any longer! If the talking heads in the main stream media are correct with their constant recital that America does not have the stomach to put “Boots on the Ground” anymore, then the American people need a new Gastrointestinal Specialist!

Just who the hell are all these people who don’t have the stomach to put Boots on the Ground? Is it the Plastic Surgeon in his air-conditioned office performing cosmetic surgery on beautiful, insecure women who want their breast enlarged? 

Is it the Lawyer in their lavish office entertaining a room full of wealthy clients, who have never in their life endured hardship? 

Is it the waitress struggling to feed her young children? 

The clerk at the grocery store? Or the homeless person trying to decide which shelter they are going to eat lunch at?

I really don’t know who these people are with no stomach for taking the fight to the enemy. I do know who they are NOT! 

They are not the young men and women in uniform! They are not the young men and women lining up at the local recruiting stations, working hard to meet the requirements for enlistment and waiting, often times six to eight months for a slot in Basic Training or Boot Camp. These young men and women are waiting months to enlist and doing so knowing full well that America is at war! These are the volunteers that make up the United States Armed Forces of America!

America has an ALL VOLUNTEER military today! Not one single person is serving in our armed forces against their will! I can not speak for them all, but as a Marine who regularly speaks with other Marines who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, some still serving, some having already served, by and large, they not only have the stomach for putting Boots on the Ground, they are chomping at the bit to put their Boots on their Ground!

No one likes the effects and result of war… None of them feel good about the friends they have lost fighting these Radical Islamic Terrorist over the last thirteen years… None of them feel good about all the things they have had to do in combat, or all the terrible things they have seen…

The thing that these fine men and women of America do know though, is that they are the only thing left on this planet that stands between the evil these Radical Islamic Terrorist perpetuate, and the civilized world where their family, friends, and fellow American’s enjoy all the comforts and benefits of a free society. They know they are the very line in the sand that protects the families on Friday nights so they can attend their local high school sporting event, the Saturday afternoon cookout, Sunday morning church and afternoon brunch. They know that being a part of the American military, THE world superpower, that they represent not only the freedom and security their fellow American’s enjoy, but the only hope for world peace!

God has indeed blessed America! He has blessed us with the kind of peace and security no other nation in history has enjoyed! Our mothers, sisters, kid brothers, our family and friends, et. al., enjoy the kind of peace and safety not experienced anywhere else in the world… Sure, there are a few other nations that enjoy relative peace in recent history, but ALL of those that do, owe that which they enjoy to America coming to their aid during the last World War…

Today America is faced with a serious threat that is growing on several continents… It’s called Radical Islam and they are Masters of Terrorism! If we don’t take the fight to them, they WILL bring the fight to us eventually! And while the world has their eyes on ISIS, don’t look away from Iran! Let’s not forget that King Obama has helped put them back on the path to developing a nuclear weapon…

America is faced with some very serious national security issues and we need to let the men and women of our Armed Forces do what they are trained and prepared to do… What they have the stomach for! All these American’s that don’t have the stomach for more war, well, they need to get back to what they have been doing for over 200 years… Enjoying the freedom and comforts guaranteed them by the Constitution and protected for them by the men and women of the Armed Forces of America…

If the American public would leave the hard work to those who do have the stomach for war and take the handcuffs off of them, I believe they could absolutely put an end to this Radical Islamic Terrorist BS! I want to smash my television every time I hear them say we don’t have the stomach for more fighting, and especially when they say we can’t defeat them… BS!

The mission of the Marine Corps Rifle Squad is to Seek out, close with and destroy the enemy! Let our fighting men do their job! Let them loose to go after these cowards that strap bombs to their children and abuse their women! Let them pursue them wherever they may go and kill them! We have to quit chasing them into their caves and leaving… They just reemerge when we leave… Let our fighting me push them back into their caves, then let them bury them alive where they cower like cowards! Let our fighting men fight like they are there to win and I bet Radical Islam would not soon cause trouble again!

Can any of you imagine what the world would look like today had our nation’s leaders fought the second world war in the same passive, politically correct manner we have been fighting since?

If there are American’s who have grown tired of war… I say judge them not! Don’t interfere with those who do recognize the importance and necessity of dealing with the threats facing America today though!
