Thousands of Iraqi Christians Flee for Their Lives

For the first time in more than 1,600 years, church bells did not ring in the city of Mosul, in northern Iraq. This city, along with several other historically Christian cities, has been taken over by ISIS, a Muslim extremist group set on eradicating Christianity from Syria, and now Iraq..

Thousands of Christians have had to flee for their lives as these extremists have infiltrated their towns. Many have only the clothes on their backs and have been left with absolutely nothing.
