THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

In the Presence of God and of Christ Jesus,

Who will Judge the living and the dead,

And in view of His appearing and His Kingdom,

I give you this charge:

Preach the Word; Be prepared in season and out of season;

Correct, Rebuke and Encourage—

With great patience and careful instruction.

For a time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.

Instead, to suit their own desires,

They will gather around them a Great Number of Teachers

To say what their ITCHING EARS want to hear.

They will turn away from the Truth and turn to Myths.

But you, keep your head in all situations,

Endure hardship , do the work of an evangelist,

Discharge all the duties of your ministry.

For I am already being poured out like a drink offering,

And the time has come for my departure [he is about to be killed].

I HAVE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT,

I HAVE FINISHED THE RACE,

I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH.

Now there is in store for me THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

Which the Lord, the Righteous Judge,

Will award to me on THAT DAY--

And not only to me,

BUT TO ALL WHO HAVE LONGED FOR HIS APPEARING. (2 timothy 4:1-8)

We live every moment in the Presence of God.

Like the apostle Paul,

Each one of us us capable, through Christ, of fighting the good Fight;

Of finishing the Race; Of keeping the Faith.

We must keep in mind what this life is all about.

It is all about gaining THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

That will be bestowed by Christ Jesus

ON ALL WHO HAVE LONGED FOR HIS APPEARING.

The WAY to this Reward is a NARROW WAY,

That only a few find. (Matthew. 7:14)

It is the OPPOSITE of the way of this Wicked World, ruled by Satan.

It is the WAY of Christ Jesus

And encompasses all that He taught us--

All His Red Letter Words and all the rest of His Word.

Let us, unlike those in the World who are Ignorant and Arrogant

AND REFUSE TO LOVE THE TRUTH [2 Thessalonians 2:10],

Work out our Salvation, before the Living God, in Fear and Trembling.

(Philippians 2:12)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in its present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
