I wanted you to be the first to know: because of your continued support, Mariam Ibrahim and her family have just arrived home in America.
Mariam--along with her husband Daniel, and their two kids, Martin and Maya--plan to live in Manchester, New Hampshire, near Daniel's extended family.
It's because of your prayers and pleas--along with millions of Christians, worldwide, just like you--that Mariam and her family are safe, and back home, today.
So, from the bottom of my heart, I wanted to give you my sincerest thanks for everything you've helped make possible.
But, as joyous as we should be today that Mariam Ibrahim is safe, the sad truth is there truly is a war on Christians in many parts of the world--and it's war that we're losing, not winning.
In Mosul, Iraq--Iraq's second-largest city--the extremist "Islamic State" has a message for Christians: convert to Islam, or die.
A few weeks ago, Mosul's 60,000 Christians--part of a community that had existed for nearly two thousand years--were stripped of their property and given just one day to flee their homes, often with just the clothes on their back.
Now, they're all gone. 60,000 Christians, gone overnight.
And, in Pakistan, there's the case of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman who is on death row for "blasphemy"--just because she took a sip from a Muslim coworker's cup.
And there's Saeed Abedini, an American who was arrested in Iran and sentenced to 7 years in prison for daring to be a Christian in one of the most oppressive nations in the world.
And that list goes on and on.
The fight to save Mariam's life showed the world that, when Christians speak out with a united voice, we can successfully defend those whose lives have been threatened just because of their faith.
That's why I hope you'll consider making a donation to FFC today, so we can continue to do the work we can to help free Christians around the world. To help make the world safe for Christians--and make sure horrible stories like Mariam's never happen again.
Please donate anything you can afford to give right now, to help us continue to unite Christians and fight back against the war on Christianity.
Thank you so much for everything you're helping us do.
In faith,
Ralph Reed
