The Collapse Of The American Empire?

MainEventFeature

CELEBRATE AMERICA WASHINGTON DC

God loves America! He loves this nation and His people are speaking out and going out preaching the Good News of the Gospel. As a result, those in the congressional offices are hearing the Gospel of Christ and many have called upon the name of the LORD. Those in DAR Constitution Hall, those watching by the Internet and television, those in public office, those on the streets, and those in the nursing homes are hearing the Gospel preached and seeing it demonstrated. Jesus is being lifted up and glorified with over 1100 laborers trained and over 26,000 decisions for Jesus Christ. We are contending for another Great Spiritual Awakening!

There are only three more nights of Celebrate America. Please, continue to keep this event in your prayers and financially support it. Together, WE ARE CONTENDING FOR ANOTHER GREAT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING. Please, put this event on your priority list; invest in a Great Spiritual Awakening. Saturday night is the GRAND FINALE; its theme is Great Spiritual Awakening Night. It would be wonderful if, on that night, we could announce that this event has been PAID IN FULL. People who love God and those who love this nation, please, ask the Lord what He would have you to do and respond today.

Below is a poem that I wrote, The Collapse of the American Empire? – I pray that it will cause the fire and desire in your heart to grow even brighter to reach this nation.

THE COLLAPSE OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE?
Poem by Dr. Rodney M. Howard-Browne
A land born out of freedom of religion that allowed freedom beyond anything seen in millennia past, the result too many freedoms that now have taken her into captivity, the love of money, an imagination, given no limits – landed on the moon, from flight to light bulb, radio and television, automobile, motorcycle, satellite, and Internet – the stem cell research, deep ocean exploration, it's all in a days work, we will have more vacation.

Adults gone wild Generation X – pushing the limits who knows what's next. It will all get better. Or so I am told. The forecast– the prediction – what does the future hold. A land that started out birthed in great pain – men seeking freedom – upheaval for the red man, trail of tears – what you sow is what you reap. Human rights, the plight of the black man, slavery abolished yet found another to carry its load – from the Spanish man who carries the burden.

To those who are now trafficked for their body and parts. The money made from adoptions to abortions, the cancer trade a lucrative deal, the pharmaceutical companies, making a deal. Anything to get them hooked, from weed, cocaine, drugs, alcohol, nicotine too – the tobacco post a warning sign – that people look right through. The lungs eaten up – using a breathing apparatus – needing a tracheotomy just to inhale.

Hey it's been a good life – I have lived it to the full. I would have stopped but I could not. It got out of control – the rich man, the beggar man, the lonely man too – all would fall prey to bondage, puppets on a string, yielding to every pull. Advertising gone crazy – what's happening on Madison Avenue – why just in my lifetime – we roared through the '60s – stumbled into the '70s, slept through the '80s, what happened in the '90s – has there been another decade in the 2000s – wow time flies when you are having fun.

The meaning of life has changed, complicated, consumerization, it's the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Because we have and have had plenty – we don't know lack, the result is we have raised a people – soft – not ready for what's to come – think about their money, possessions and leisure time, forgotten are the struggles of the past, as some don't even believe there was a Holocaust, so we have been dumbed down, by Hollywood, the media a role would play – to let us live in a fantasy world – tomorrow is another day.

Our food, water and air polluted – the truth, the law it's all diluted – the fall of an empire, we will see unless the divine hand of God intervenes – no fear of God, no consequence for your actions make for living in the now – and life's just one giant transaction – sign on the dotted line no interest for five years – live like there is no tomorrow – no fear – no limit – in the movies they get shot and get up to play again – Superman only had Kryptonite and it will be Groundhog Day, back to the future, a sci-fi world we are living in – cryogenics – we will bring you back when medical science has advanced – great advances in the sciences have been made however the findings squashed as we will lose out on billions of $ if a cure for cancer is made –

So we find ourselves like a rat in a Ferris wheel – we spin and keep spinning again – trapped in this thing that we have called "living" – many from the city live and die without seeing the country or ever getting to fly – to the great wonders our nation does hold, they will never see the Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon or Yosemite – Niagara Falls, Yellow Stone or the Keys.

XXX clubs, movies, Viagra and ecstasy, handcuffs and HIV – something's gone wrong, this was not how it was meant to be. The whole of society has gone down the lavatory – prayer taken out of schools, Ten Commandments taken away – in God we trust – one nation under what?

A socialistic new world order – a spirit of antichrist – taken full sway – it's in the leaders in the world in the church – while everyone's talking about a brighter day – millions of babies aborted, 100 million in depression – we are supposed to be free but everyone is in prison – all afraid to do the right thing must be "politically correct" however millions are sick and there is no antidote – they are afraid of IRS and Homeland Security, FBI, being set up in a sting –

It might make its way onto reality TV – Donald Trump you're fired – and Paris Hilton's got to have a real friend – MTV – we are in the 21st century – and Forrest Gump I gotta go pee – and let's watch Apollo 13 – it's Titanic I tell you we've been hit – keep the passengers calm – we have sent out an SOS – keep the orchestra playing on deck as long as you can – near far – wherever you are – the ship's listing it's tilted and gone too far – not enough life boats – to fit in all of humanity – but let's explore Mars and maybe we can colonize, however we will ruin that – just like we have our nation.

Is it the death of an empire called USA – or will there be a last minute reprieve turn the tide and make a way – a third Great Awakening – we must have – it's the only hope – our prayer today – we had one in the 1700s and the 1800s too – let's have one in the 21 century – how about you – will you turn and come to Jesus back to your first love – America please listen – I call you by name – may you be awakened – and your heart set ablaze – He will give you one last chance – before it's too late!
