The Day The Sun Stood Still

The sun stopped in the middle of the sky

And delayed going down about a full day.

There has never been a day like it before or since,

A day when the Lord listened to a man.

Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel! (Joshua 10: 13-14)

In this battle of Israel against the five kings of the Amorites,

The Lord hurled large hailstones down on them from the sky,

And more of them [the Amorites] died from the hailstones

Than were killed by the swords of the Israelites. (Joshua 10:11)

How pathetic are the enemies of God, how helpless, how hopeless.

God controls all of His Creation

And He brings circumstances of His choosing to bear at His will.

He defends those He has PROMISED to defend

As He did here for Joshua and Israel.

Today, God Almighty is the DEFENDER OF THE NATION ISRAEL.

Not because she is so virtuous

But because God made a PROMISE to King David

That his Throne and his Kingdom would endure FOREVER:

Your House and your Kingdom will endure FOREVER before Me,

Your Throne will be established FOREVER.' (2 Samuel 7:16)

Christ Jesus is the Decedent of King David

Who will sit on David's Throne FOREVER:

For to us a child is born, to us a Son [Christ Jesus] is given,

And the Government will be on His shoulders

And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the INCREASE of His Government and Peace there will be NO END.

He will REIGN on David's Throne and over His Kingdom,

Establishing and upholding it with Justice and Righteousness

From THAT TIME ON and FOREVER.

The ZEAL OF THE LORD ALMIGHTY will accomplish this.

(Isaiah 9:6-7)

The Lord Almighty fought for Israel in their escape from Egypt:

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea,

And all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind

And turned it into dry land.

The waters were divided,

And the Israelites when through the sea on dry ground,

With a wall of water on their right and on their left.

The Egyptians pursued them,

All Pharaoh's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea.

In the morning watch the Lord looked down from the Pillar of Fire

And Cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into CONFUSION.

He made the wheels of their chariots come off

So that they had difficulty driving.

And the Egyptians said, 'Lets get away from the Israelis!

The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.'

Then the Lord said to Moses,

'Stretch out your hand over the sea

So that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians

And their chariots and horsemen.'

Moses stretched out his hand over the sea,

And at daybreak the sea went back to its place.

The Egyptians were fleeing from it,

And the Lord swept them into the sea.

The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen--

The entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea.

Not one of them survived. (Exodus 14:21-28)

At The Battle Of Armageddon the Lord gathers the nations

To fight against Jerusalem. Listen:

A Day IS COMING when you plunder will be divided among you.

I will gather ALL THE NATIONS to Jerusalem to fight against it;

The City will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped.

Half the City will go into exile,

But the rest of the people will not be taken from the City.

Then the Lord will go out AND FIGHT AGAINST THOSE NATIONS,

As He fights in THE DAY OF BATTLE.

On THAT DAY His feet will stand on the Mount of olives,

East of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two

From east to west, forming a Great Valley,

With half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

You will flee by My mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel.

You will flee as you fled from the earthquake

In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.

Then the Lord my God will come and all the Holy Ones with Him.

On THAT DAY there will be no light, no cold or frost.

It will be a UNIQUE DAY, without daytime or nighttime—

A day know to the Lord.

When evening comes, there will be light.

The Lord will be King over the Whole Earth.

On THAT DAY there will be One Lord, and His Name the only name.

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem,

Will become like the Arabah.

But Jerusalem will be raise up and remain in its place,

From the Benjamin Gate to the site of the first Gate, to the Corner Gate,

And from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses.

It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed.

Jerusalem will be SECURE.

This is the PLAGUE

With which the Lord will STRIKE ALL THE NATIONS

That fought against Jerusalem:

Their flesh will ROT while they are still standing on their feet,

Their eyes will ROT in their sockets,

And their tongues will ROT in their mouths.

On THAT DAY men will be STRICKEN BY THE LORD with great panic.

Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.

Judah too will fight at Jerusalem.

THE WEALTH OF ALL THE SURROUNDING NATIONS WILL BE COLLECTED--

Great quantities of god and silver and clothing.

A similar PLAGUE will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys,

And all the animals in those camps.

Then the survivors from ALL THE NATIONS that have attacked Jerusalem

Will go up year after year to worship the King [Christ Jesus],

The Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of tabernacles.

(Zechariah 14:1-16)

Consider how FUTILE

The machinations of the Nations are at this time;

All the political wrangling in America and the world;

All the Apostasy going on in America and the world;

The wages of SIN is Death; Eternal death.

But the GIFT OF GOD is Eternal LIFE in Christ Jesus. (Romans 6:23)

I pray that those who read this message choose Eternal LIFE

In Christ Jesus.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
