Stop Taxpayer Funding for Abortion In Oregon

This is it. The final push! About 65,000 signatures have been turned in by volunteers so far — but 85,000 more signatures are needed by June 30. How will we do it? Here's the plan.   #1. Street Teams (40,000 signatures) We’re now forming teams of 5-10 people committed to gathering 500 signatures per team. Together, 80 teams statewide will bring in a total of 40,000 signatures. Direct Mail (20,000 signatures) Our biggest direct mail campaign ever is ready to go! The materials have been written and designed. We have an excellent mailing list. Now, we just need the remaining funding to print and mail a special 5-line petition sheet and postage-paid return envelope to 60,000 conservative Oregon families. The total cost for this urgent mailing is just 50 cents per household. I anticipate at least 20,000 signatures will be returned as a result. Maybe much more. Thanks to many generous individuals we have $12,663 to put toward this $30,000 direct mail campaign. That leaves $17,337 still needed. Individuals and Churches (20,000 signatures) We've already mailed thousands of petition sheets to hundreds of individuals and churches, including every Nazarene, Assemblies of God, Calvary Chapel, and Catholic church in the state. Dozens of additional churches have requested petitions from our website. All together we’re anticipating 20,000 signatures to come in from churches and individual petition circulators during the next month. Single-Signers (5,000 signatures) So far more than 2,500 people have requested the special single-signature petition sheet that can be printed from our website. On Monday, June 2, thousands of our supporters will be emailing the single-signature petition to tens of thousands of Oregonians. We’ll need your help to make this successful! A minimum of 5,000 more signatures are expected from this massive email forwarding campaign. Look for an email template from me on Sunday to forward to your friends.
