How Do We Pray?

Then He was praying in a certain place,
And when He stopped, one of His disciples said to Him,
Lord teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.

And He said the them, When you pray, say, [Our] Father,
[Who is in Heaven,] hallowed be Your Name,
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done—held Holy and Revered--
On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread (food for the morrow),

And forgive us our sins,
For we ourselves also forgive every one who is indebted to us--
Who has offended us or done us wrong;
And bring us not into temptation, but rescue us from evil.
(Luke 11:1-4, AMP)

The first thing we do when we pray is to acknowledge
That God is our Father; He is our Creator;
He created each one of us and all that exists,
And that He is not of this world; His Kingdom is in Heaven
Even though He is present everywhere, filling everything.
Listen to the apostle Paul:

[For I always pray] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
The Father of Glory,
That He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation--
Of insight into mysteries and secrets--
In [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light,
So you can know and understand the Hope to which He has called you
And how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints—His set-apart ones.

And [so that you can know and understand]
What is the IMMEASURABLE and UNLIMITED and SURPASSING GREATNESS
Of His power in and for us who believe,
As demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead
And seated Him at His [Own] right hand in Heavenly [Places],

Far above ALL RULE and AUTHORITY and POWER and DOMINION,
And every name that is named—above every title that can be conferred--
NO only in this AGE and in this world,
But also in the AGE and the world which are to come.

And He has put ALL THINGS under His feet
And has appointed Him the UNIVERSAL AND SUPREME HEAD of the Church
(A headship exercised throughout the Church), [Ps. 8:6.]

Which is His Body, the FULLNESS of Him Who fills ALL in ALL--
For in that Body lives the FULL MEASURE of Him
Who makes EVERYTHING COMPLETE,
And Who FILLS EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE [with Himself].
(Ephesians 1:17-23, AMP)

This is the God we are addressing when we pray as we ought to pray.
And He is Holy and Commands that we be Holy as He is Holy. (1 Peter 1:16)

Then we pray that His Kingdom come to earth as in Heaven;
That the kingdom of this world, Satan's kingdom, be ABOLISHED,
As we know that is exactly what happens at the return of Christ Jesus.
We are in fact praying for the soon return of Christ Jesus.

Then and only then will God's will be done on earth as in Heaven.

We are also praying that the Kingdom of God be established
In each one of us, and in His Body the Church,
Bringing the Kingdom of God to earth as in Heaven in measure.

We pray for our daily bread, the food to sustain us,
Understanding that we do not live by bread alone
But by every world that comes from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)
Also understanding that as we seek first and above all else,
The Kingdom of God, everything we have need of
Will be provide to us by the Father. (Matthew 6:33)

As we pray we freely forgive those who wrong us
As we know that is the only way that the Father can forgive us.
(Matthew 6:15)

We pray that we will not be tempted by EVIL
And we know that temptation does not come from God
But from the Evil One and our own evil desires. (James 1:14)

What Hope is there for America? Just one!
That America will REPENT and turn to God.
And this turning to God must begin in the Church of God;
The Church that has become as worldly as the world.
If America continues to Murder the unborn and defy the Word of God
It is FINISHED.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)
America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
