Hatikvah, Hamas- Style
Not one to miss out on birthdays, Hamas on Tuesday issued its own unique greeting card for Israel’s 66th anniversary, though the celebrations the terrorist group appeared to have in mind were somewhat different than those Israelis may prefer. The group created a cover for the Israeli national anthem, Hatikvah (“The Hope”). Titled “Sof Hatikvah” (“The End Of Hope”) and sung entirely in rhyming — if somewhat broken – Hebrew, the video promises Israelis that they will soon be driven out of the land of Israel. The song says that smart Israelis will be allowed to leave the country and return “to their homelands” while those who are stubborn and remain will have their fates “sealed beneath the dirt.”
The release of the video comes as Hamas continues to hold talks with Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah movement on a unity agreement. As part of the Hamas-Fatah deal, Abbas will issue a "presidential decree" announcing the dates for elections, which PA officials said would likely take place within the next six months. The PA’s Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah has already offered to step down to pave the way for a unity government The unity government is supposed to be made up of independent figures, but a senior Hamas figure said this week that the group’s leadership decided to submit a candidate for the presidency. On Monday, Abbas held "positive" talks with Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal in Doha, in the first meeting since the deal was signed. On Tuesday, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman warned that "no matter when elections are, Hamas will win and take control of the Palestinian Authority." be the first stage in the ultimate destruction of Israel.

Christ Jesus prayed that all those who would believe in Him would be ONE, just as He and the Father are ONE; that they be brought to complete unity so that the world would know that He was sent by the Father. (John 17:20-23)
