Report: AFA meets with FCC chairman over broadcast decencyMay 7, 2014Tom,Earlier this week, AFA and other pro-family ministries met with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Tom Wheeler in Washington, DC. Last year the FCC proposed a change in decency standards to start allowing nudity and profanity on broadcast TV. We led great opposition to this with our allied family groups (and hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens). After meeting with Commissioner Wheeler, we are nearly certain that this new standard to allow nudity will not be implemented. In addition, he told AFA he is creating a plan to move forward in resolving over 380,000 outstanding broadcast decency complaints. AFA will continue to dialogue with the FCC commissioners in encouraging them to rigidly enforce broadcasting decency rules in accordance with Congress and Supreme Court rulings. Help us continue our work with a small donation. I’d also like to encourage you to ready this insightful article writte n by Franklin Graham entitled Hollywood: Entertaining Ourselves to Death? Again, your financial support helps us work to support and defend the values we share. Please consider a gift to keep your AFA going strong!
My comments: As long as Americas elect godless people to their government we will see ever increasing DEBAUCHERY everywhere in government. | |||||||||||
Christ Jesus prayed that all those who would believe in Him would be ONE, just as He and the Father are ONE; that they be brought to complete unity so that the world would know that He was sent by the Father. (John 17:20-23)
