Obama's Common Core Blackmail

Grassfire Update:

Arne Duncan, Obama's hand-picked Secretary of Education has grown weary of the waves of criticism for Common Core -- the federal takeover of education.

In fact, Duncan is so fed up that he said states were free to discard all aspects of the standardized-testing initiative. "They absolutely have the right to do this," he told The Blaze. "This is a state-led effort; it always has been."

Of course, Duncan didn't say that by rejecting the Obama administration's educational advances, college-bound students will be at a decided disadvantage considering the SAT is being tailored to fit Common Core standards.

So, what else did Mr. Duncan not telling you?
As radio icon Rush Limbaugh often warns, "Judge the Left by what they do, not what they say."

Since taking office, Obama has shown Americans that he is a thin-skinned, Chicago-style politician who will say and do anything to get his way -- including using federal agencies to intimidate and silence opponents. Just ask the hundreds of Tea Party groups and supporters who have felt the wrath of our imperial president.

Will rejecting Common Core, lead to NSA surveillance of emails and phones? Will the IRS suddenly be scheduling more audits in those states where Common Core was rejected? Sadly, it’s not a stretch to consider these and other outlandish tactics that would have been laughed at prior to Obama's terms in office.

The Obama administration's Common Core advances are similar to their approach with ObamaCare. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said recently:
“Common Core is another example of Washington trying to control all aspects of Americans’ lives, including the education of our children. We should not allow the federal government to dictate what our children learn. Rather, parents, through their teachers, local schools and state systems, should be able to direct the education of their children.”
But there's only one way that happens. Americans must tune out the "progressive" rhetoric that claims Common Core is "good for you."

Instead, conservatives must focus on the Left's actions -- their bribes, blackmail and lies. Only a massive grassroots revolt can stop what Obama and his minions so eagerly want.

• The bribes are the financial benefits states receive from the federal government for implementing Common Core.
• The blackmail is the threat that not implementingthe federal standards could mean lower SAT test scores for students in non-Common Core states.
• The lies are the false and misleading statements about the origin and benefits of Common Core.

As we reported in previous Common Core updates, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has proposed a resolution that supports the restoration and protection of state authority -- in all aspects of a child's education process. Eight other Republican Senators have co-signed S. Res. 345. 

My comments: The godless, Secular Humanists want to control every aspect of your life as they know best. Common Core is at the core of their efforts. If they can completely control Education they will be able to indoctrinate every child into their godlessness. If they use Federal Standards for College entrance then they hope to FORCE every State into Common Core.
