Man: Ruled By Five Senses And The Devil

The only people that were not sinners from birth were Adam and Eve.

Until they disobeyed God they lived in the Kingdom of God, Paradise.

God gave them but one Command:

'You are free to eat from any tree in the Garden;

But you MUST NOT eat from The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good and EVIL,

For when you do you will surely DIE.' (Genesis 2:16)

Now the Serpent was more crafty

Than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.

He said to the woman, 'DID GOD REALLY SAY,

You must not eat from any tree in the Garden.'?

The woman said to the serpent,

'We may eat fruit from the trees in the Garden,

But God did say, 'You MUST NOT eat fruit from the tree

That is in the middle of the Garden,

And you must not touch it or you will die.'

'YOU WILL NOT SURELY DIE,' the Serpent said to the woman.

'For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened,

AND YOU WILL BE LIKE GOD, knowing good and EVIL.'

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food

AND PLEASING TO THE EYE, and also desirable for gaining wisdom,

SHE TOOK SOME AND ATE IT.

She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

THEN THE EYES OF BOTH OF THEM WERE OPENED,

And they realized they were NAKED;

So they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

(Genesis 3:1-9)

This act of DISOBEDIENCE;

Eating the fruit of The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And EVIL,

Caused their spiritual DEATH,

And the spiritual DEATH of ALL their offspring to this day.

Since that time EVERYONE is born spiritually DEAD.

The only thing that changes this DISPOSITION

Is OBEDIENCE TO GOD; BEING BORN AGAIN; Born of the Spirit of God;

Being Born Back into the Kingdom of God and receiving the Salvation

That God offers to EVERYONE through His Son, Christ Jesus.

The Spirit of God speaks personally to EVERY PERSON

And encourages them to receive this Salvation,

But EVERY PERSON CHOOSES to do so or not. Most do not.

They choose instead to be RULED by their five senses and the Devil.

What RULES the World we live in?

The five senses of mankind and the Devil.

What has been the RESULT of this reality?

The FLOOD of Noah's Day; the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah;

All the wars the world has known; America's Civil War,

World War I and World War II and all the wars since.

What is the COMING reality of this?

The FINAL WAR; The DESTRUCTION of the world as we know it;

The DESTRUCTION of Babylon and ALL the Cities of the World;

The DESTRUCTION of approximately one-half of mankind;

The DESTRUCTION of the armies of the Nations;

The entire earth LAID WASTE. (Isaiah 24:1)

How do we know this? God's Word tells us.

Why is mankind so DECEIVED?

Because Satan, the DECEIVER, is a Supernatural Being

And he has place a SHROUD over the Nations. (Isaiah 25:7)

Because Satan has spoken to EVERY PERSON and said:

“DID GOD REALLY SAY what His Word OBVIOUSLY says?”

Listen to me he says: “YOU WILL NOT SURELY DIE;”

“Listen to me and your eyes will be opened,

AND YOU WILL BE LIKE GOD, knowing good and EVIL.”

And so mankind has, for six thousand years, listen to Satan LIE to them,

And they have suffered the GRIEVOUS CONSEQUENCES

Of their DISOBEDIENCE toward God.

ALL THAT REMAINS is the FINAL CONSEQUENCE of that DISOBEDIENCE.

Yet there are those who CHOOSE TO OBEY GOD. Listen:

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

So it is written: 'The First Man Adam became a living being',

The Last Adam [Christ Jesus] a LIFE-GIVING Spirit.

The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.

The First Man was of the dust of the earth,

The Second Man [Christ Jesus] from Heaven.

As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth;

And as the man [Christ Jesus] from Heaven,

So also are those who are OF HEAVEN

[ALL who, by Faith, belong to Christ Jesus].

And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man [the First Adam],

So shall we [who believe]

Bear the likeness of the man [Christ Jesus] from Heaven.

I declare to you brothers,

That flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God,

Nor does the PERISHABLE inherit the IMPERISHABLE.

Listen, I tell you a MYSTERY:

We will not all sleep, but we will all be CHANGED--

In a FLASH, in the twinkling of an eye, at the Last Trumpet.

For the Trumpet will sound, the DEAD will be RAISED IMPERISHABLE,

And we will be CHANGED.

For the PERISHABLE must clothe itself with the IMPERISHABLE,

And the MORTAL with IMMORTALITY.

When the PERISHABLE has been clothed with the IMPERISHABLE,

And the MORTAL with IMMORTALITY,

Then the saying that is written will come TRUE:

'Where, O DEATH, is your victory?

Where, O DEATH, is your sting?'

The sting of DEATH is SIN, and the Power of SIN is the Law.

But thanks be to God!

He gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my dear brothers, STAND FIRM.

Let NOTHING MOVE YOU.

Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,

Because you know that your labor in the Lord IS NOT IN VAIN.
