Being Assured Of Heaven

The whole purpose of this natural life is to make Heaven our destination.

There is no other purpose for it.

Listen to the apostle Peter speak of this reality:

First of all, you must understand that in the Last Days

[The days we are living in, the last two days, the last two thousand years.]

Scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own EVIL DESIRES.

They will say, 'Where is this 'COMING' He promised?

Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has

Since the beginning of creation.'

But they deliberately forget

That long a go by God's Word the heavens existed

And the earth was formed out of water and with water.

By water also the world of that time was DELUGED and DESTROYED.

By the same Word the Present Heavens and earth are reserved for fire,

Being kept for The Day Of Judgment and DESTRUCTION of ungodly men.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:

With the Lord a day is like a thousand years,

And a thousand years like a day.

The Lord is not slow in keeping His Promise, as some understand slowness.

He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to PERISH,

But everyone to come to REPENTANCE.

But The Day Of The Lord will come like a thief.

The Heavens will disappear with a roar;

The elements will be destroyed by fire,

And the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

Since everything will be DESTROYED in this way,

What kind of people ought you to be?

You ought to live holy and godly lives

As you look forward to The Day Of God and speed its coming.

That day will bring about the DESTRUCTION of the heavens by fire,

And the elements will melt in the heat.

But in keeping with His Promise we are looking forward to a New Heaven

And a New Earth, the home of RIGHTEOUSNESS.

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this,

Make every effort to be found spotless,

Blameless and at peace with Him.

Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation,

Just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you

With the wisdom that God gave him.

He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.

His letters are hard to understand,

Which ignorant and unstable people distort,

As they do the other Scriptures, to their own DESTRUCTION.

Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this,

BE ON YOUR GUARD

So that you may not be carried away by the ERROR of LAWLESS men

And fall from your SECURE POSITION.

[Understand the there are many Lawless men and women 

Who call themselves Christians.] 

But grow in the grace and knowledge

Of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Him be Glory both now and FOREVER! AMEN. (2 Peter 3:3-18)

Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord

And do you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead?

(Romans 10:9)

Have you been water washed, blood washed, filled with the Holy Spirit

And are you walking in the Light of Christ Jesus?

Have you had your personal Day of Pentecost,

And do you speak in tongues? (Acts 1 and 2)

Do you love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength?

(Matthew 26:36-40)

Have you been crucified with Christ Jesus to this wicked world

And no longer live but it is Christ Who lives in and through you?

(Galatians 2:20)

Do you live each day by Faith in the Son of God

And His Power at work in you? (Galatians 2:20)

Have you set your heart on things above? (Colossians 3:1-4)

Is your life hidden with Christ in God?

Have you clothed yourself with the garments of Christ

And does His Word dwell richly in you?

Assurance of Heaven

Comes from an all consuming relationship with Christ Jesus.

You rise up in the morning with Him, you go through your day with Him

And you go to sleep at night with Him.

You continually drink the Living Water He provides. (John 7:37-39)

You continually eat the Living Bread, His Word. (John 6:25-65)

You say with King David:

One thing I ask and this is what I seek

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life

To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and seek Him in His Temple.

(Psalm 27:4)

Whom do I have in Heaven but you and having you

I desire nothing on earth. (Psalm 73:25-26)

Apart from you I have no good thing. (Psalm 16:2)

You are a man or woman after God's own heart. (1 Samuel 13:14)

Only Christ Jesus living in and through you will enable you of OVERCOME

This wicked world and Satan who rules it.

They OVERCAME by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony,

Not loving this life so much as to shrink from death. (Revelation 12:11)

These are the things that will bring you Assurance of Heaven.

I pray that all who read this message possess theses things.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
