Christ: The Light Of The World

Christ Jesus said of Himself:

'I AM the Light of the world.

Whoever follows Me will never walk in DARKNESS,

But will have the Light of LIFE. (John 8:12)

What is the DARKNESS that the Lord speaks of?

The entire world without Him.

Without Christ Jesus the world would be entirely DARK.

He is the Light of LIFE because He is the only Light that exists

And the only LIFE that exists.

When we Christians celebrate Christmas

We celebrate the fact that Christ Jesus came to earth

And revealed Himself to each of us individually;

He brought us out of our DARKNESS and into His Light.

We who were dead in our SINS were forgiven and given His LIFE.

He gave us the GIFT of Faith [Ephesians 2:8-9];

Faith to believe the TRUTH and to follow His WAY.

Now we tell all who will listen about this miracle;

About God's One and only Savior, Christ Jesus

And the Eternal LIFE He offers every living person;

That He is the only WAY, the only TRUTH and the only LIFE.

He is God, from whom all LIFE emanates;

The Creator of all that exists.

For God so love the world that He gave His One and only Son,

That whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Eternal LIFE.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,

But to SAVE the world [all who would believe] through Him.

Whoever believes in Him is not CONDEMNED,

But whoever does not believe stands CONDEMNED already

Because he has not believed in the Name of God's One and only Son.

This is the VERDICT:

Light has come into the world,

But men loved DARKNESS instead of the Light

Because their deeds were EVIL.

Everyone who does EVIL hates the Light,

And will not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

But whoever lives by the TRUTH comes into the Light,

So that it may be seen plainly

That what he has done has been done through God.' (John 3:16-21)

We live in a world of men and women who love DARKNESS

Because their deeds are EVIL.

Men and women who hate the Light of Christ.

Men and women who stand CONDEMNED before the Living God.

Yet, as we Christians stand as witnesses to the Light of Christ,

By the Grace of God, some of those in the DARKNESS

Come out of the DARKNESS and into the Light of Christ;

ALL those who are drawn to Christ Jesus by the Father

Through the Holy Spirit. (John 6:44)

Some of us plant the “seed” of the Word of God

And some of us “water” the “seed” of the word of God

But it is God Who give the INCREASE. (1 Corinthians 3:6)

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

The Christmas story, the story of God coming to the earth, Emanuel,

Is the Greatest Story ever told; The Greatest Reality there could ever be.

We Celebrate the Grace of God Who sent His Son to us

That we who believe would not PERISH but have Everlasting LIFE.

God sent His One and only Son to us; born of an ordinary woman;

Born in a stable in a manger;

Into the most humble circumstances there could be.

Having left the Glory of Heaven to become a man

To walk this earth for thirty three years;

To minister in the fullness of God for three and one-half years.

To die for the sins of the whole world on that dreadful Cross;

Thereby purchasing the forgiveness for our sins;

To be resurrected on the third day as Scripture had foretold;

To reveal Himself to more than 500 after His resurrection;

To further instruct His disciples for 40 days

And then to be taken by God back into Heaven,

And on the Day of Pentecost,

To pour out His Holy Spirit as the father had PROMISED;

Giving birth to His Church.

For unto us a child is born, to us a Son if given,

And the government [of God] shall be upon His shoulders.

And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father,Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government there will be no end.

He will reign on David's Throne and over His Kingdom,

Establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness

From that time on and FOREVER.

The ZEAL of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

Christmas is the Celebration of Christ Jesus,

And the Magnificent Grace of God;

God in flesh Who came to SAVE ALL who would believe.

I pray that all who read this message are among the SAVED;

Among those walking in the Light of Christ.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
