Do You Long For Christ's Appearing?

This attitude describes your spirituality as a Christian.

Do you long for Christ's appearing?

Only those who understand the reality

Of the wickedness of this fallen world

Will have this attitude.

Only those who understand the gross darkness of this world

And the fact that it is ruled by authorities and powers;

The spiritual forces of EVIL in the heavenly realms [Ephesians 6:12];

By Satan, the “god” of this age, who has blinded the minds of unbelievers

So that they cannot see the LIGHT of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ

Who is the Image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Satan, who has enfolded the Nations with a shroud of darkness. (Isaiah 25:7)

Are you being poured out like a drink offering?

Are you fighting the good fight of Faith?

Is there a Crown of Righteousness, which the Lord the Righteous Judge

Will give to you on That Day,

And to ALL who long for His APPEARING? (2 Timothy 4:6-8)

Will you be able to stand before Christ Jesus at His return

Without fault and with great joy? (Jude 24)

Is your food to do the will of Christ who has saved you out of this world?

Does Christ live in and through you daily? (John 4:34)

Are the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart

Pleasing to the Lord.

Is He your ROCK and Redeemer? (Psalm 19:14)

Do you ask but for one thing;

To dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of your life

To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His Temple?

(Psalm 27:4)

Do you have any good thing apart from the Lord? (Psalm 16:2)

The Lord Who alone is good. (Luke 18:19)

Do you have anyone in Heaven apart from the Lord,

And belonging to the Lord do you desire anything on earth? (Psalm 73:25)

Are you humble and contrite in Spirit

And tremble at the Word of God, so that you are esteemed by God?

(Isaiah 66:2)

Do you seek first and above all else the Kingdom of God?

(Matthew 6:33)

Have you fallen upon the Rock which is Christ

And have been broken before Him? (Matthew 21:44)

Are you poor in spirit?

Do you mourn over the sin you see all around you?

Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness?

Are you merciful?

Are you pure in heart?

Are you a peace maker?

Are you persecuted for righteousness?

Do people say all kinds of EVIL against you? (Matthew 5:1-12)

Do you pray that the Kingdom of God would come

And His will be done on earth as in Heaven,

Understanding that this means the END of the world as it is today?

(Matthew 6:9-10)

Where is your Treasure?

Are you storing up Treasure in Heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, And where thieves do not break in and steal? (Matthew 6:19)

Do you forgive as you have been forgiven? (6:14-15)

Do you do unto others as you would have them do to You?

(Matthew 7:12)

Do you worry about tomorrow? (Matthew 6:34)

Have you found the NARROW gate?

For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction,

And many enter through it.

But small is the gate and NARROW the road that leads to LIFE,

And only a FEW find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Have you built your house upon the Rock, which is Christ?

(Matthew 7:24-27)

Do you love anyone or anything more than Christ Jesus?

(Matthew 10:37—39)

Have you spoken against the Holy Spirit? (Matthew 12:32)

Does what comes out of your mouth glorify God? (Matthew 12:34-37)

Do you deny yourself and take up your cross and follow Christ?

Those who seek to save their life will lose it,

But whoever loses his life for Christ will find it. (Matthew 16:24-28)

Do you long for Christ's appearing? Do you belong to Christ?

If your heart is His heart then you will.

If it is not then you will not.

I pray that those who read this message will have the heart of Christ,

And long for His appearing.
