Fear God And Keep His Commandments

Everything that goes on in this world is futile

Apart from fearing and loving God and keeping His Commandments.

This was the conclusion of King Solomon the wisest man who ever lived.

(Ecclesiastes 12)

King Solomon admonishes us:

Remember your Creator earnestly now,

Before the silver cord of life is snapped apart, or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern [And the whole circulatory system of the blood ceases to function],

Then shall the dust [of which God made man's body]

Return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it.

Futility of futilities, says the Preacher;

ALL is futility—emptiness, falsity, vainglory and transitoriness!

And further, because the Preacher was wise,

He [Solomon] still taught the people knowledge;

And he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs.

The Preacher sought out acceptable words,

And to write down rightly words of truth or correct sentiment.

The words of the wise are as prodding goads,

And firmly fixed [in the mind] like nails are collected sayings

Which are given [As proceeding ] from one shepherd. [Ezek. 37:24.]

But going further [than words given by one shepherd], my son, be warned.

Of making many books there is no end

[So do not believe everything you read],

And much study is a weariness of the flesh.

All has been heard. The end of the matter is,

Fear God—know that He is, revere and worship Him—

And keep His Commandments;

For this is the whole of man [the full original purpose of his creation,

The object of God's providence, the root of character,

The foundation of all happiness,

The adjustment to all in harmonious circumstances

And conditions under the sun], and the whole duty for every man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment,

With every secret thing whether it is good or evil.

[Matt. 12:36; Acts 17:30,31; Rom.2:16; I Cor. 4:5.] 

(Ecclesiastes 12:6-14 AMP)

Solomon spoke before God's Christ had come.

He spoke with the knowledge God had given him;

Greater knowledge than any one before him concerning worldly matters.

He found everything that goes on in this world to be futile,

Apart from fearing God and keeping his Commandments. And so it is.

We have today the words of God's Christ Jesus,

Who is to be our only Teacher. (Matthew 23:10)

The teaching of Christ Jesus confirms the teaching of King Solomon;

Everything in this life is futile apart from fearing and loving God

And keeping His Commandments.

The only LIFE that exists in this life is ABIDING in Christ. (John 15)

If we seek to gain a life in this life 

We will loose the LIFE Christ came to bring;

In other words, such a pursuit will be futile. (Matthew 10:39, Luke 17:33)

Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.

Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat--

For He [God Almighty] grants sleep to those He loves. (Psalm 127:1-2)

This is what the Lord Almighty says:

'Babylon's thick wall will be leveled and her high gates set on fire;

The peoples exhaust themselves for nothing,

The nations' labor is only fuel for the flames.'

Today, the spirit of Babylon, the spirit of Satan, has infected every nation.

They are all godless, ruled by Satan.

Therefore the labor of all their peoples will have been for nothing;

All their labor will be fuel for the fire of God

That is coming to purge the earth of it's wickedness.

All the cities of the nations will collapse along with Babylon.

(Revelation 16:19)

All the labors of mankind from the fall of Adam and Eve,

Apart from fearing God and keeping His Commandments,

Has been for nothing.

The only labor that has any meaning in this life is that done for and in Christ;

That is Treasure stored up in Heaven which is incorruptible.

Nations come and they go; leaders come and they go.

Mankind marvels and exults over their science and technology

But in the END it will be irrelevant.

God does not value anything produced by man.

The only thing that God values is Faith in His Christ Jesus and His Word.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
