Christian, Be On Fire

Once we have made our confession of Faith in Christ;

Once we have been baptized, immersed in the Holy Spirit and with Fire;

It is then our responsibility to fan into flame the Fire

That we have been given by God.

The apostle Paul admonishes the saints:

That is why I would remind you to stir up—

Rekindle the embers, and the flame and keep burning –

The [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire]

That is on you by means of the laying on of my hands

[With those of the elders at your ordination].

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity—of cowardice,

Of craven and cringing and fawning fear--

But [He has given us a spirit] of [power and of love and of calm

And well-balance mind and discipline and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:6-7 AMP)

We must maintain our First Love; the Fire that we began with;

That is our responsibility. Christ Jesus tells the Church at Ephesus:

These are the words of Him Who holds the Seven Stars in His Right Hand

And walks among the Seven golden Lampstands:

I know your deeds, your hard work and perseverance.

I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men,

That you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not,

And have found them false.

You have persevered and have endured hardships for My Name,

And have not grown weary.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your First Love.

Remember the height from which you have fallen!

REPENT and do the things you did at first.

If you do not REPENT,

I will come to you and remove your Lampstand from its place.

But you have this in your favor;

You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

[The Nicolaitans, in all probability, were those who claimed the name of Christ

But who were worldly.]

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

To him who OVERCOMES, I will give the right to eat from the Tree Of LIFE,

Which is in the Paradise of God. (Revelation 2: 1-7)

Christ Jesus is telling the Church of Ephesus

That unless they recapture their First Love

All their good works will count for nothing, and so it is with us.

Faith is a walk of Love and Intimacy, maintained by the Fire of God within us.

We must maintain that FIRE; that Fervor; that Passion

Or all else we do for Christ is rendered null and void.

We must be continually worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth;

Continually fanning the flame of the Fire of God within us.

You see it was Fire, Fervor and Passion that took Christ Jesus to the Cross.

That enabled Him to endure this terrible, brutal torture and death.

He did it for the JOY set before Him, which was a vision of His Bride

Who would be purchased by His Sacrifice.

Now Christ Jesus must be the JOY set before us.

We will only OVERCOME by this same Fire, Fervor and Passion,

Not loving this life so much as to shrink from death. (Revelation 12:11)

Virtually everything that goes on in this world

Is intended by Satan to put out the Fire of God in you.

Yet, he is defenseless against the Fire of God burning within you.

Christ burning in you is infinitely more powerful than Satan.

But it is up to us to keep the Fire of God burning brightly.

The lukewarm will be spit out of His mouth. (Revelation 3:16)

I pray that all who read this message will keep the Fire of God

Burning brightly within them.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
