Are You Saved?

This is the most important question in this life.
The only person who can answer it for you is Christ Jesus Himself.
He is the Word of God made flesh; He and His Word are One.
What does Christ Jesus speak to us through His Word?

If we are saved, we have been saved from something.
What is there to be saved from?
The Word of God tells us that we were born with a sin nature;
Th nature of Adam and Eve once expelled from Paradise;
The result of their sin against God in disobeying His single command to them.
We are all born from Adam and Eve an therefore have their sin nature.
This sin nature, is a nature that compels us to sin;
A nature that is subject to Satan, the deceiver, the liar,
The one who deceived Adam and Eve and caused them to disobey God;
The one who came to steal, kill and destroy;
The one who hates Christ Jesus and all who follow Him;
The one who hates all of mankind made in the image of God.
The one who rules this wicked, fallen world.

What must we be saved from?
This inherent sin nature we are all born with.
This sin nature that renders us hopeless, helpless and condemned
Before the Living God.
Unless this nature is changed we are destined for Hell.
That is what we must be saved from.

How can we be saved from our hopeless, helpless and condemned condition?
What must we do to be saved from this most terrible of situations?

Christ Jesus answers this question; it comes in steps.
The first step is to REPENT,
That is to recognize that we are sinners and need to be saved;
Desiring with all our heart, soul, mind and strength
To be changed from our sinful, condemned condition.

The awareness that we are sinners and condemned before the Living God
Comes from a revelation from the Spirit of God and no where else.
Only God, the Holy Spirit can convict us of the fact that we are sinners
And need to be saved.
God, the Holy Spirit is faithful to do this for ever person.
Every person is given the opportunity to REPENT of their sin and turn to God.
Some respond to the Holy Spirit and some do not.
Christ Jesus' Parable of the Seeds helps explain this.

If we have been convicted of our sin and REPENT of it,
The next step is to make a confession of our newly found Faith.
The apostle Paul states this simply:
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”
And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
You will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
And it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Scripture says, “Everyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.”
(Romans 10:9-11)

Christ Jesus' Parable of the Sower and the Seed explains what happens next.
Some receive the message of the Kingdom of God
And make confessions of faith, but Satan comes and snatches it away.
Some receive the message with joy, but have no root, no deep conviction,
And when persecutions come because of the Word they fall away.
Some receive the Word but the worries of life, the deceitfulness of wealth
Choke it making it unfruitful.
Nevertheless, some receive it, understand it
And produce a crop of a hundred times what was sown.
Of these who made confessions of Faith, only the later remains “saved.”

The “saved” saint must OVERCOME this wicked, fallen world
And the one who rules it, Satan,
To ultimately be received by Christ Jesus into Heaven.
In the Seven Letters to the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation
Christ Jesus never mentions being “saved.”
He said to them: “To him who OVERCOMES,
I will give the right to eat from the Tree of LIFE,
Which is in the Paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7)

They OVERCAME him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb
And the world of their testimony;
They did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
(Revelation 12:11)

How do we OVERCOME this wicked, fallen world and Satan who rules it?
There is only one WAY, the WAY of Christ Jesus; He is the WAY!
It is a very narrow WAY that only a few find.
It is Christ in us our hope of Glory. (Colossians 1:27)
It is being baptized in the Holy Spirit, immersed in the Spirit of God.
It is being crucified with Christ and no longer living
But Christ living in and through us.
This life we live must be by Faith in the Son of God
And His Power at work in us.
We must set our hearts on things above;
Our lives must be hidden with Christ in God;
We must put on the garments of Christ
And let His Word dwell richly in us.
I pray that this is true for all who read this message.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)
America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
