The Whole Christmas Story

(Isaiah 53)
Who has believed our message
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

He [Christ] grew up before Him [Father God]
Like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
[The dry ground of unbelief and sin-sickness]

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him,
Nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.

He was despised and rejected by men [as He is today],
A man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
He was despised, and we [the people of God] esteemed Him not
[As He is today, by more than two-thirds of humanity.]

Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,
Yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.
But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities;
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
[The punishment that each one of us deserved was place upon Christ],
And by His wounds we are healed.
[By Faith we are healed; body, soul, mind and spirit, by His wounds.]

We all like sheep, have gone astray
[Every one of us from birth has gone astray, captive to our sin nature],
Each one of us has turned to his own way;
[There is a way that seems right to a man, the end thereof is Eternal Death.]
And the Lord has laid on Him [Christ] the iniquity of us all.

He [Christ] was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth;
He was like a Lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.

By oppression and judgment, He was taken away.
[The same oppression and judgment experienced today
By those who belong to Him.]

But He [Christ] was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people [The people of God] He was stricken.
He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death,
Though He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it was the Lord's will to crush Him [Christ] and cause Him to suffer,
And though the Lord makes His life a Guilt Offering,
He will see His OFFSPRING [The Bride of Christ]
And prolong His days [they will never end],

And the will of the Lord will prosper in His hand
[The Plan and Purpose of God for all of “Time” will be accomplished].
After the suffering of His soul,
He will see the Light of LIFE, and be satisfied;
[Christ Jesus will be completely satisfied
With all God has accomplished through Him.]
By His knowledge My righteous servant will justify many,
And He will bear their iniquities.

Therefore I [God Almighty] will give Him a portion among the great,
He will divide the spoils with the strong,
Because He poured out his life unto death,
And was numbered with the transgressors .
For He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
(Isaiah 53)

Christ Jesus left the Glory of Heaven
And endured the most brutal death possible for those of us who believe.
No greater sacrifice was possible;
God Himself came and died for you and I;
For ALL who have BELIEVED since the beginning of “TIME.”

He died for the sins of the whole world;
The same world that has rejected Him in every generation;
The same world that rejects Him today.
The same world that rejected Him in the days of Noah.

Belief will bring its promised reward; Eternal LIFE.
And unbelief will bring it's promised reward; Eternal Death.
The Word of God will be fulfilled down to the last detail.

Christ Jesus is the only WAY, the only TRUTH, and the only LIFE;
The only WAY to God the Father; the only WAY to Heaven.
At Christmas we celebrate this awesome GIFT of God to humanity.
This indescribable GIFT we who believe have received.
The greatest GIFT that could be given, God has given;
For all who will BELIEVE, for ALL who will RECEIVE.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)
America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
