The Fashioning Of "god(s)"

To what do you give your time, money and attention?

What do you value above the God of Heaven,

As expressed by what you place above His commands?

That is your “god,” or “god's” as the case may be.

The ancients fashioned their “god(s)” out of wood 

And other form-able materials and we consider them to be primitive.

Today, we have more sophisticated ways of fashioning “god(s),”

But the spiritual result is the same, Eternal Death.

The culture we live in fashions god(s) for us.

The media is a primary fashioner and exponent of “god(s)” for us

And we can accept anyone or any thing we choose.

We can choose from a menu of “gods” like we choose food at a restaurant.

We can have leader “gods,” intellectual “gods,” science “gods,” 

Psychology “gods,” ecology “gods,” education “gods,” technology “gods,”

Movie star, “gods,” sports star, sport team “gods,” pornography “gods,” 

Drug “gods,” sexuality “gods,” boy friend, girl friend “gods,” etc.;

Anything or anyone we place above the God of Heaven and His commands.

We can make a “god(s)” of our own fashioning; hobbies, special interests;

We can make a “god” out one of the many false religions;

Which is any religion but faith in Christ Jesus as Scripture commands.

Or, we can make ourselves a “god” like Satan did.

Who or what has fashioned your “god?”

If your God is the God of Scripture, there is no fashioning to be done.

If your “god” is any other “god” you have done the fashioning,

Or the fashioning has been done for you.

Today, people have chosen a multitude of “gods.” 

Even those who claim the name of Christ, often have “other” “gods;”

Gods to whom they give more of their time, money and attention to,

Than they give to Christ Jesus and His Word.

This should not be surprising in a world ruled by Satan.

Every person is born into DECEPTION.

Unless they respond to the voice of God they remain DECEIVED.

For those who have made a confession of faith in Christ Jesus,

Satan and his demons are constantly trying to distract

Them to anything but their faith in God.

There is a false doctrine in the Church of God

That says the if you make a confession of faith in Christ

At some point in your life, you are “saved,” eternally. This is a LIE!

Those who make confessions of faith are “saved”, that is forgiven;

However, if then, they do not walk in the Light of Christ,

If they do not make Christ Jesus Lord of their lives,

Their confession is rendered meaningless.

Christ Jesus in writing to the Seven Churches 

Did not mention the word “saved.”

He said it was only those who OVERCAME, that He would receive.

Many who are “saved” go on to receive one or more

Of the many “gods” the world puts forth,

Or they create their own “gods.”

When they do this, those worthless thing(s), their “god(s),”

Are worthless to them in the END;

And they themselves are rendered worthless

When they stand before the Living God.

Today, there are many gospels being preached,

But only the gospel of Christ, is the One True Gospel.

Today, many preachers, preach only what itching ears want to hear;

Only what is “positive,” and what will bring large audiences to them.

They do not mention the “bad news,” that every person is born condemned;

That faith in Christ and walking in the Light of Christ is the only WAY

Out of this condemnation.

For them, what they preach, is simply a better alternative,

Not the NARROW WAY, the crucial choice, the life and death choice

Taught by Christ Jesus.

In contrast, the Gospel of Christ is embodied in ALL He taught.

Christ taught a NARROW WAY that only a few find.

A Christian must embrace ALL that Christ Jesus taught to belong to Him.

For a Christian there is only One Teacher, Christ Jesus.

A partial gospel is a partial truth, not the whole TRUTH of Christ Jesus.

A partial truth opens the door to other “gods.”

I pray that all who read this 

Are committed to the One True God, Christ Jesus;

That they embrace the whole TRUTH of Christ; the NARROW WAY;

The Glorious WAY;

The only WAY to righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;

The only WAY to Eternal LIFE, and the Glory of Heaven.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
