What Is Christianity?

Christianity is Christ reproducing Himself in those who belong to Him.

It is nothing more and nothing less.

It has nothing to do with the works of man; a denomination an affiliation

Or anything else that comes from man.

What is the goal of Christ Jesus?

That those who belong to Him would become ONE with Him

As He and the Father are ONE.

In Heaven all are ONE. (John 17)

We are justified, find right standing with God, through faith,

When we confess with our mouth that Christ Jesus is Lord and

Believe in our hearts that God raised Christ Jesus from the dead.

(Romans 10:9-10)

Without faith in this these facts we have no faith at all.

Nevertheless, faith without works is dead. (James 3:26)

Even the demons believe that Christ Jesus is the Son of God

And that God raised Him from the dead. (James 2:19)

Justification

To be “justified” is what it means to be “born again;”

To be born of the Spirit of God.

Before this we were dead in our sin and condemned to eternal death.

(Colossians 2:13)

Now we have been made alive in Christ, we are a new creation in Christ.

(2 Corinthians 5:17)

Sanctification

However, once we have come to Christ Jesus in faith

We must be sanctified; We must live a holy life.

Christ calls us to be holy as He is holy, to be perfect as He is perfect.

(1 Peter 1:16), (Matthew 5:48)

How do we do this?

We do this by allowing Christ to live in us and through us;

By obedience to the Spirit of God; doing His will. (John 9:4)

If we do not do the will of God we do not belong to Him. (Matthew 7:21)

If we keep on sinning only judgment awaits us. (Hebrews 10:26)

We can only do the will of God by the empowerment of His Spirit

Who lives in us; By submitting our will to His will [Hebrews 10:7);

By remaining in the “Vine” which is Christ. (John 15:4)

This is what it means to “know” God, which is Eternal LIFE. (John 17:3)

We must allow the Spirit of God to renew our minds and our hearts.

(Romans 12:2)

Today, Christ Jesus is reproducing Himself in those who belong to Him

As He has done in every generation.

These are His called, chosen and faithful followers. (Revelation 17:14)

The “Elect.” (Matthew 24:24)

Those who agree with the apostle Paul:

Who have been crucified to this world with Christ;

Who no longer live but it is Christ who lives in them.

Who live this life by faith in the Son of God

And His power at work in them.

Who have set their hearts on things above,

Who's lives are hidden with Christ in God,

Who have clothed themselves with the garments of Christ,

And let His Word dwell richly in them;

Those who overcome the evil one and the world he rules

By the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony

Not loving this life so much as to shrink from death. (Revelation 12:11)

This is Christianity:

A people empowered by Christ living in and through them!

A people possessed by Christ!

A people who have become ONE with Christ!
