America's Demise - Part I

(Parallels to America and the nations today, from the Book of Jeremiah)

Jeremiah was appointed as a prophet to the nations;

His prophecies extend to the present time,

To America and the nations, today.

In Jeremiah's day, Israel had become incurably wicked

And Jeremiah was sent by God to declare this reality to the nation Israel;

To declare that they were going to be overcome by a nation from the north;

Be captured and go into exile.

'From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.

I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms,

Declares the Lord.' (Jeremiah 1:14-15)

This statement by God demonstrates His sovereignty over Israel;

And the northern kingdoms.

Know this: God is sovereign over the whole of His Creation

And every nation today.

The Lord continues:

'Their kings will come and set up their thrones

In the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem;

They will come against all her surrounding walls

And against all the towns of Judah.

I will pronounce My judgments on My people because of their wickedness

In forsaking Me, in burning incense to other gods.

And in worshiping what their hands have made. (Jeremiah 1:15-16)

Everything that God has written in His Word will come to pass for America

And for every nation on earth.

Today, America and the nations have become ungodly and wicked.

They worship all manner of gods; they worship what their hands have made.

America and the nations today are being ground to powder

As the Word of God declares happens to the wicked and the ungodly.

(Matthew 21:44)

Today, God says to those who belong to Him as He did to Jeremiah:

'Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them what ever I command you.

Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them.

Today I have made you a fortified city, and iron pillar and a bronze wall

To stand against the whole land--against the kings of Judah,

Its officials, its priests and the people of the land.

They will fight against you but will not over come you, for I am with you

And will rescue you, declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:17-19)

These are God's instructions for those who belong to Him today.

Today, those who belong to Christ Jesus

Are to declare the Truth of the Word of God

That tells of the demise of America and the nations

Because of their wickedness and their idolatry.

For the purpose of saving those who will be saved;

Those who will turn from their wickedness and idolatry to God

And His Christ Jesus.

Those who are silent will have the blood of America and the nations

Upon themselves, as God told Ezekiel. (Ezekiel 33)

They will thereby condemn themselves. Christ Jesus said:

'Whoever acknowledges Me before men,

I will also acknowledge him before My Father in Heaven.

But whoever disowns Me before men,

I will disown him before My Father in Heaven.' (Matthew 10:32)

The hour of trial that Christ Jesus told of has come upon the whole world;

Is currently in its early stages.

It is going to test those who live on the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

It will test The Church Of God as well as the world.

Judgment begins in the House of God. (1 Peter 4:17)

As God has Written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
