Yet, I Will Rejoice In The Lord!

Though the fig tree does not bud
And there are no grapes on the vines,
Though the olive crop fails
And the fields produce no food,
Though there are no sheep in the pen
And no cattle in the stalls,
Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength. (Habakkuk 3:17-19 NIV)

The Prophet Habakkuk knew his God would never fail him
And so he praised the Lord,
Even in the most dire of circumstances.
Praise to God brought his salvation and it will bring ours.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying
And singing hymns to God,
And the other prisoners were listening to them.
Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake
That the foundations of the prison were shaken.
At once all the prison doors flew open,
And everybody's chains came loose.
The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open,
He drew his sword and was about to kill himself
Because he thought the prisoners had escaped.
But Paul shouted, 'don't harm yourself! We are all here.'
(Acts 16:25-28 NIV)

Paul and Silas had just been beaten,yet they praised God.
The prison they were in was shaken by a violent earthquake.
Today, God Almighty is shaking everything that can be shaken;
The prison of a world controlled by Satan is shaking.
Everything that is not of God will be done away with;
The world and all its ways will be done away with,
And only that which is of Christ will remain.

Those who love Him will praise him throughout the shaking;
They will praise Him until the doors of the prison fly open.
And the world is no longer under the control of Satan,
But the kingdoms of the world have become the Kingdom of our Lord
And He shall reign forevermore;
And we shall reign with Him, Hallelujah!

God Almighty gave mankind “Time,” six thousand years to turn to Him.
Many did, but most did not.
"Time” is about to end. The time for choosing will end.
Those who chose the Christ of God, belong to Him and He to them.
Everyone else will be sent to a devil's hell.

God called every living person, but most did not answer.
The sacrifice of Christ Jesus on the cross of Calvary;
This ultimate sacrifice, was not sufficient for them.
They spurn the coming of Emanuel as a baby in a manger
That we celebrate this Christmas.
