This Hopeless World

This world is hopeless, yet, there is ALL hope in God and His Christ, Jesus;
Who are not of this world, but of the Kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God is available to every living person,
Who calls upon the name of the Lord with all their heart;
Those who are thirsty for Living Water;
Who are willing to give up their life in this life to obtain the LIFE of Christ;
Who are willing to be baptized (immersed) in the Holy Spirit;
Who allow Christ to live in and through them;
Who are crucified with Christ to this world;
Who live by faith in the Son of God and His power at work in them;
Who have set their hearts on things above;
Who's lives are hidden with Christ in God;
Who have clothed themselves with the garments of Christ.
And allow His Word to dwell richly in them.

When sin entered the world it was given over to Satan the god of this world;
The perpetrator of sin and evil, who came to steal, kill and destroy.
Yet, Christ Jesus was crucified from the foundation of the world
To redeem all who would turn to Him in faith.
The Word of God records the lives of those who had faith in God.
They comprise a Great Cloud of Witnesses who say to each one of us today:

We overcame this world by the blood of the Lamb
And the word of our testimony;
Through the victory Christ won on the cross of Calvary, and so can you.”

God and His Christ Jesus are infinitely more powerful than Satan.
Christ Jesus ultimately destroys the Antichrist, the son of Satan
With the breath of His mouth and the splendor of His appearing,
And Satan is bound by an angel of God for a thousand years
Before he is done away with for all eternity.

The apostle Paul said two thousand years ago:
'For this world in its present form is passing away.' (1 Corinthians 7:31)

Today, this world we live in is almost gone.
Christ Jesus said that the days we are living in, “the last days,”
Would be like the days of Noah:

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man
For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking,
Marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the Ark;
And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came
And took them all away.
This is how it will be at the coming of the Son of man.
Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding with a hand mill;
One will be taken and the other left.

Therefore keep watch,
Because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
But understand this:
If the owner of the house had know at what time of night the thief was coming,
He wold have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
So you must be ready,
Because the Son of man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Genesis describes the Days of Noah:
The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become,
And that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth,
And his heart was filled with pain. (Genesis 5:5-6)

God said to Noah:
I am going to put an end to all people,
For the earth is filled with violence because of them.
I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. (Genesis 5:13)

The description of Noah's day fits the day we are living in.
The judgment of God is upon the nations at this time.
Because of the increase of wickedness,
The love of most is growing cold as Christ Jesus said that it would.
There is increasing apostasy in the Church of God.
The world is coming unglued morally, socially, economically and politically.
Satan is pulling out the stops because he knows his time is short.
Because of their godlessness and wickedness
God has given over the nations to the wiles of the evil one,
Who is stealing, killing and destroying.

Yet everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Cry out to Jesus!
