Jim Wallis Does Not Speak The Truth Concerning Jesus

Jim Wallis who leads a group called the Sojourners and who is a spiritual advisor to President Barack Obama does not speak the truth about Christ Jesus. In an article entitled, 'Praying for Peace and Looking for Jesus at #Occupy Wall Street,”

He writes about the protesters:

“When they stand with the poor, the stand with Jesus

When they stand with the hungry, they stand with Jesus

When they stand for those without a job or a home, they stand with Jesus […]

When they talk about holding banks and corporations accountable,

They sound like Jesus and the biblical prophets before him who all spoke about holding the wealthy and powerful accountable.”

Jim Wallis fails to understand that Christ Jesus did not come

To the kingdom of this world, that stands condemned before a Holy God, 

To involve himself in the it's secular affairs.

He came to gather together those who would receive Him and His Kingdom;

Those who would repent of their sins and be washed in His blood;

Those who would declare with their mouths that He is Lord

And believe in their hearts that God raise Him from the dead;

Those who would put their faith, hope and trust in Him as Savior, 

And walk in His Light.

Christ Jesus made clear that the kingdom of this world belongs to Satan.

Christ Jesus said:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

Blessed are those who mourn (over the sin in this world),

For they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (God's righteousness),

For they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness

(God's righteousness),

For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Only those who have received Christ Jesus

As Savior and Lord, belong to His Kingdom.

Christ Jesus stands for or with no one apart from His Kingdom.

Those who are not for Him, are against Him.
