He Must Deny Himself

The Kingdom of God, is reserved for those who have taken up their cross
And denied themselves, so called, worldly pleasures;
And have determined to live for Christ and in Christ.

Jesus said to his disciples:
'If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself
And take up his cross and follow me.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it,
But whoever loses his life for me will find it.

There are no Christians, but those who have taken up their cross,
And denied themselves, so called worldly pleasure
And have determined to live for Christ and in Christ.
One cannot live as the world lives an be a Christian.
One who is a friend with the world is the enemy of God,
Because the devil controls this world.

However, the Christian has what the world can never have;
The inexhaustible riches, pleasure and glory of the Kingdom of God
The River of Delights,
Where we can revel in the Joy of the Lord which is our strength.
The Secret Place of the Most High God,
Where we can commune with God at any time.
The peace of God that is beyond all human understanding;
The love of God that is beyond all human understanding.
Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Christ in us our hope of glory, in a world that is hopeless.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived
What God has prepared for those who love him--
But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things even the deep things of God.
(1 Corinthians 2:9-10)

One day we will enter Zion with singing;
Everlasting joy will crown our heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake us
And sorrow and sighing will flee away. Hallelujah! (Isaiah 35:10)

However, as long as it is called Today,
We must continue to overcome this world
By the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony;
By the power of Christ living in and through us.
