God's Opinion, The Only One That Counts

But God will ultimately decide the issue.

God raises up kings and nations and deposes them. (Daniel 2:21)

History is littered with the nations that were deposed by God

For their godlessness and unrighteousness.

Often God uses godless nation(s) to accomplish His purposes.
