The Nations Will Tremble Before The Lord

The Song Of Moses (Exodus 15:14, NIV)
The nations will hear and tremble
Anguish will grip the people of Philistia.
The chiefs of Edom will be terrified,
The leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,
The people of Canaan will melt away;
Terror and dread will fall upon them.
By the power of your arm they will be as still as a stone--
Until your people pass by, O Lord,
Until the people you bought pass by.
You will bring them in and plant them
On the mountain of your inheritance (Zion)
The place, O Lord you made for your dwelling,
The sanctuary, O Lord, your hands established.
The Lord will reign for ever and ever.

Davids Psalm Of Thanks (1 Chronicles 16:7-36)
Bring an offering and come before him;
Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
Tremble before him, all the earth!

Psalm 114:7
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the God of Jacob,
Who turned the rock into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water.

Jeremiah 5:22
The Lord speaking to Israel:
Should you not fear me?
Should you not tremble in my presence?

Ezekiel 38:17
The Lord speaking to Gog:
In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare
That at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beast of the field,
Every creature that moves along the ground,
And all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence.
The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble
And every wall will fall to the ground.

Joel 2:1-2
Blow the trumpet in Zion;
Sound the alarm on my holy mountain.
Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming
It is close at hand--
A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains
A large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old
Nor will be in ages to come.

Habakkuk 3:6
He (the Lord) stood, and shook the earth;
He looked, and made the nations tremble.
The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed.

Exodus 19:16
On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning,
With a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast.
Everyone in the camp trembled.
Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God,
and they stood at the foot of the mountain
Mount Sinai was covered with smoke,
Because the Lord descended on it in fire.
The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace,
The whole mountain trembled violently,
And the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder.
Then Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.

Exodus 20:18
When the people saw the thunder and lightning
And heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke,
They trembled with fear.

David's Son Of Praise (2 Samuel 22:8)
The earth trembled and quaked, the foundations of the heavens shook;
They trembled because he was angry.
Smoke rose from his nostrils;
Consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.
He parted the heavens and came down;
Dark clouds were under his feet.
He mounted the cherubim and flew;
He soared on the wings of the wind.
He made darkness his canopy around him--
The dark rain clouds of the sky.
Out of their brightness of his presence bolts of lightning blazed forth.
The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.
He shot arrows and scattered the enemies,
Bolts of lightning and routed them.
The valleys of the sea were exposed
And the foundations of the earth laid bare
At the blast of breath from his nostrils.

Psalm 97
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.
Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side.
His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles.
The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
Before the Lord of all the earth.
The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
And all the peoples see his glory.

All who worship images are put to shame, those who boast in idols--
Worship him, all you gods!

Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad
Because of your judgments, O Lord.
For you, O lord, are the Most High over all the earth;
You are exalted far above all gods.

Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
For he guards the lives of his faithful ones
And delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.

Psalm 104:31-32
May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord rejoice in his works.
He looks at the earth, and it trembles
He touches the mountains, and they smoke.

Isaiah 66:2
This is the one I esteem:
He who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.

Jeremiah 10:10
But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King
When he is angry, the earth trembles
The nations cannot endure his wrath.

Nahum 1:1-6
The Lord is a jealous and avenging God;
The Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath.
The Lord takes vengeance on his foes
And maintains his wrath against his enemies.
The Lord is slow to anger and great in power;
The Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.
His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of his feet.
He rebukes the sea and fries it up;
He makes all the rivers run dry.
Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade.
The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away.
The earth trembles at his presence,
The world and all who live in it.
Who can withstand his indignation?
Who can endure his fierce anger?
His wrath is poured out like fire;
The rocks are shattered before him.
