We Are Experiencing a Mini-Judgment Day
The great British evangelist George Whitefield (1714-1770) once said (in the light of a litany of lies and false accusations lodged against him), “I am content to wait till the judgment day for the clearing up of my character.
When I am dead I desire no epitaph but this, ‘Here lies G. W. What kind of man he was the great day will discover.’”
Yes, everything will be laid bare and discovered on that day.
As we read in the book of Ecclesiastes,
“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil” (Eccl. 12:13–14, NIV).
Everything—absolutely everything—will come to light, and those sins that have not been covered and cleansed by the blood of Jesus will testify against us on that day.
That’s why Jesus urged His disciples not to fear mere humans, saying,
“So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known” (Matt. 10:26).
There are times, though, when God draws near in the here and now, coming in great power and as a holy refining fire, bringing hidden things to light while we are alive in this world.
And as painful and humbling as these moments can be, they are also a form of mercy: better to be confronted in this present world, when we can do something about them, than to be confronted on the day of judgment, when it’s too late to repent or change.
Better to be rebuked now than later.
And if we are guilty of covering our sins, refusing to repent and seeking to lead a double life, better to be exposed now than then.

Speaking of that final day of accounting, Paul wrote:
By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames (1 Cor. 3:10–15).
Some believe Paul was speaking specifically to church planters and pastors, saying that on that day, their works would be tested by fire.
Others believe Paul was writing to followers of Jesus in general regarding their works being tested by fire.
Either way, the overall message is clear, teaching us that there are many things in this world that may look impressive and imposing and powerful, but when they are tested by God’s fire, they will burn up.
We also learn from this passage that the genuine nature of our works will be revealed.
Was our ministry built on pride?
Was it mixed with fleshly ambition?
Was it founded on lies and deception?
“It will be revealed with fire.” What a sobering thought!
Thankfully, the Lord in His kindness, and in His desire to make His bride holy and pure, will sometimes send that revealing fire to us in this present world.
(Again, this does not refer to sins for which there has been true repentance and cleansing.
God delights in forgiving and forgetting.
He will not dredge up our past if it has been dealt with properly in His sight.)
This is what He did to congregations in Asia Minor in Revelation 2-3, telling Ephesus, a congregation that was orthodox, hardworking and faithful, that they had left their first love and were in danger of losing their very standing as a church (Rev. 2:1-7).
In the same way, to the believers in Sardis He said, “’I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead’” (Rev. 3:1b) They were deceived by their own press reports.
And to the believers in Laodicea He said, “You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked” (Rev. 3:17).
These words must have shocked this outwardly successful congregation and stung them deeply. But they were words of life and love.
As the Lord said just a few verses later, “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me” (Rev. 3:19–20).
We are in one of those sacred seasons where the Lord Himself is drawing near: a season of holy upheaval, a season of the refiner’s fire.
May we receive this mercy rather than resist it, remembering that God has no desire to embarrass us or bring reproach to His name.
If He can get our attention in private today, He won’t need to get our attention in public on that final day.

Supreme Court Rules Laws Can Keep Homeless from Sleeping on Public Property
On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling that ordinances prohibiting homeless people from sleeping on public property are constitutional.
“The United States Supreme Court is ruling in favor of the City of Grants Pass [Oregon] today in a case that challenged its public spaces camping ordinances,” local station KDRV in Grants Pass reports.
The decision overrules a lower court’s ruling that banning homeless from sleeping on public property constitutes unconstitutional “cruel and unusual punishment” explains:
“The case came from Grants Pass, which appealed a ruling striking down local ordinances that fined people $295 for sleeping outside after tents began crowding public parks. The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which has jurisdiction over the nine Western states, has held since 2018 that such bans violate the Eighth Amendment in areas where there aren’t enough shelter beds.”
In the City of Grants Pass v. Johnson, a majority opinion by Justice Neil Gorsuch writes that it is up to “the collective wisdom of the American people – not “a handful of federal judges” to decide how to deal with such issues:
"Yes, people will disagree over which policy responses are best; they may experiment with one set of approaches only to find later another set works better; they may find certain responses more appropriate for some communities than others. But in our democracy, that is their right. Nor can a handful of federal judges begin to 'match' the collective wisdom the American people possess in deciding ‘how best to handle’ a pressing social question like homelessness. Robinson, 370 U. Border Patrol Agents’ Union Denounces Biden’s Claim That They Endorse Him
The union representing the nation’s border patrol agents jumped on social media during Thursday night’s CNN debate to refute President Joe Biden’s claim that border agents endorse him, not his opponent, former President Donald Trump.
“By the way, the Border Patrol endorsed me,” Biden claimed while attempting to excuse his administration’s handling of the illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. southwestern border.
“To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden,” the Border Patrol Union quickly responded on social media.
Biden: ‘I Think We Did Well’ at Tonight’s Debate Against Trump
“I think we (sic) did well,” Pres. Joe Biden said Thursday night when asked how he thought he performed at his debate earlier in the evening against former Pres. Donald Trump.
At an Atlanta, Georgia Waffle House following the debate, Biden was asked to rate his debate performance, during which, on several occasions, he appeared to have mental lapses and failed to complete coherent sentences – prompting even some of his Democrat colleagues and fawning left-wing media cohorts to call for him to drop out of his bid for reelection.
While he didn't mention Trump-hating CNN debate moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash by name, Biden did use the plural "we" when rating his performance:
"I think we did well."
“It’s hard to debate a liar,” Biden followed up – again struggling to complete his sentences.
Both sides of the aisle accused the other side of spewing multiple lies, following the debate.
Only after his disappointing performance did some Biden apologists claim that the president had sounded strange because he was suffering from a cold.
“I have a sore throat,” Biden said when asked at the Waffle House if was sick.
The White House website has provided the following transcript of the Waffle House exchange:
Q: “Mr. President, how did you think you performed tonight?”
Q: “How do you think you did tonight?”
THE PRESIDENT: “I think we did well.”
Q: “Do you have any concerns — Democrats are concerned that — that you should drop out, that you’re — that you’re not fit for the job by your voice, your performance tonight. Do you have any concerns about your performance?”
THE PRESIDENT: “No. I th- — it’s hard to c- — hard to debate a liar. The New York Times pointed out he made — lied 26 times — big lies. He didn’t tell the tru- —“
Q: “Are you suffering from a cold? Your campaign said that you’re — you’re sick.”
THE PRESIDENT: “I have a sore throat.”

The Armed Enemies Within Plot Trump’s Murder

The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability will soon hold a hearing on “potential vulnerabilities within the U.S. Secret Service” that prevent this agency from protecting high-profile figures such as President Donald J. Trump from assassination.
This follows reports of fights breaking out among armed Secret Service agents and “potential insider threats” that threaten national security.
The federal law enforcement agency has been plagued by sex and alcohol scandals, but more recently its agents have been trying to protect themselves from dog bites by the Biden family dog, a German Shepherd named “Commander.”
The Secret Service is a component of the Department of Homeland Security, run by Open Borders architect Alejandro Mayorkas.
This means that the federal official ultimately in charge of the Secret Service “protection” for Trump is at the same time turning a blind eye to hundreds of foreign terrorists entering the country, perhaps to assassinate Trump.
The handwriting is on the wall – Trump’s life is in danger because the federal agency in charge of protecting him has been seriously compromised and perhaps even infiltrated.
As we document in our report “Marked for Death,” the FBI and Secret Service coordinated the armed raid on the former president’s home.
Judicial Watch announced that it had obtained a recording of a phone message left by an FBI special agent for “someone” at the Secret Service in regard to the raid on President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Tom Rogan of the Washington Examiner was the first to report that an armed U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris‘s protective detail fought with other agents at Andrews Air Force Base.
The agent was handcuffed and taken away and given “medical care” of some kind.
The American public are still left in the dark about what exactly happened and whether the Secret Service agent had a psychotic episode or was stoned on the job.
The situation is so bad that Jennifer Jacobs, White House reporter for Bloomberg News, reported that, “There’s a petition circulating inside the U.S. Secret Service that flags concerns about ‘a number of recent Secret Service incidents indicative of inadequate training,’ a double standard in disciplinary actions, and a vulnerability ‘to potential insider threats’ that could pose a risk” to national security.
In our new report on the plots against Trump, we argued that Trump desperately needs a personal protection detail.
The new developments suggest another federal agency is mired in corruption and perhaps infiltrated by hotheads and left-wing zealots of various sorts.
The briefing on corruption in the Secret Service will take place on June 21 under the jurisdiction of House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., who cites reports that the Secret Service agent “chest-bumped and shoved her superior, then tackled and punched him while still having her gun in her holster, which concerned her colleagues.”
Another account by Susan Crabtree said the agent “began mumbling to herself, hid behind curtains, and started throwing items, including menstrual pads….”
She quoted Anthony Guglielmi, chief of communications for the U.S. Secret Service, as saying the agency’s embrace of the 30/30 initiative, a feminist campaign to increase the representation of women in police agencies, was not a factor in the debacle.
However, various reports indicate the agent is a radical feminist who served with the Dallas Police Department and has a history of charging her male superiors with oppression, even filing a lawsuit over alleged discrimination. The lawsuit was dismissed.
Biden’s director of the U.S. Secret Service is Kimberly A. Cheatle and she oversees “candidate protection” and security-related measures at the Republican and Democratic national conventions. But she reports to Mayorkas.
Comer has charged that the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Secret Service were involved in efforts to block the Secret Service from sending information to Congress regarding the Justice Department’s attempt to let Hunter Biden off the hook for his criminal activities.
Charged with protecting the nation's leaders and financial infrastructure, the agency has been wracked by scandals for over a decade, and keeps insisting the situation has been fixed and cleaned up.
In 2021, in response to the release of a book on scandals in the Secret Service, its director of communications said the book “re-hashes past challenges the agency overcame and evolved from.”
The scandals included a 2012 incident involving Secret Service employees drinking heavily and hiring prostitutes while preparing for a trip by then-President Barack Obama to Cartagena, Colombia.
The agency denied there was a dangerous culture within the Secret Service and the inspector general's office of the Department of Homeland Security said such conduct was not “widespread.”
However, it offered 14 ways to minimize such conduct and eliminate wrong-doers.
As if protecting the nation’s leaders is not enough of a problem, Secret Service agents have not been able to defend themselves against Joe Biden’s family dog Commander, a vicious German Shepherd.
The public interest legal group Judicial Watch had to go to court and sued for Secret Service records on attacks on White House personnel and Secret Service officers.
Records have since been obtained, showing Commander was involved in at least 23 “biting incidents” and that one attack even halted East Wing tours due to blood on the floor.
But the bigger threats come from left-wing radicals, as we document in our latest report, and foreign terrorists pouring across the border.
A former top leader at the U.S. Secret Service and Homeland Security by the name of Charles Marino has written Terrorists on the Border and in Our Country.
According to Newsmax, he claims thousands of men and women linked to terrorist groups like al-Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, and other terror groups have been easily crossing into the United States.
A press release for his book declares that he “identifies what created the problem in the first place – radical, left-wing politicians and woke, progressive, nation-wrecking policies.”
On his X account, he declared, “Never have we literally been able to see the national security of the United States be allowed to crumble before our very eyes. This will have significant security repercussions for our country for decades to come. This is a fact.”
He provided testimony on “Terrorist Entry Through the Southwest Border” on September 14, 2023.
But the threat now appears to be within the Secret Service itself, as the agents drink themselves into drunken stupors and hire prostitutes while on duty in foreign countries.
Rep. Comer wonders whether the incident involving the agent fighting with other agents is related to a “hiring and screening process” and a lowering of standards “as part of a diversity, equity, and inclusion effort.”
Even more ominous, it could be a case of infiltration of those intending to do harm to America’s former president.
The FBI was caught weeding out Trump supporters from getting jobs with security clearances and it is reasonable to assume the Secret Service is applying the same lack of “standards” and hiring left-wing zealots in their place.
The FBI was infiltrated by a Russian agent for 21 years named Robert Hanssen.
What is clear is that Trump needs to hire professional and private security guards to protect him and his family from the FBI and the Secret Service.

It’s there to read.
Biden invoked the name of God.
Heard about the unpardonable sin? Defiant irreverence?
Didn’t anyone see the sick grin on his face when President Trump was erroneously found guilty on 34 bogus counts of felony?
Will this nation not heed the warnings in 2 Chronicles 7:14?
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
I recently read where the Encinitas Union School District, an all-elementary district in San Diego County, California, parents just learned that the “Kinderbuddy Program” is pairing fifth graders with kindergartners to learn about transgenderism.
Knowledge in the most direct Biblical sense.
And, let’s not miss the opportunity to welcome White House associate communications director for the Biden administration, Tyler Cherry Tyler is an outspoken supporter of those all important preferred gender pronouns among other matters critical to a healthy and moral society.
In support of this new appointment, Elliot Imse, executive director of the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute, said: “many more Americans stand with Tyler and other LGBTQ+ appointees than stand with these bigots.” (Meaning us?)
Time is flying folks.
Just heard Biden is welcoming back gays dishonorably discharged from the military due to homosexual activity in the past.
That will sure send a warning shot over the bow of our enemies bows.
Prior to being elected in 2020, he also promised a “surge” at the border.
He promised the following: “I would in fact make sure that there is – we immediately surge to the border all those people are seeking asylum.
They deserve to be heard. That's who we are,” Biden said.
“We're a nation that says, 'If you wanna flee and you're fleeing oppression, you should come,'”
So, now he is telling us he has always wanted to secure the border?
That this is somehow on Trump’s shoulders?
Huh? HUH? What part of this can you not hear?
We have no collective memory of anything?
Have you seen Biden kiss the Pope on the forehead?
Everyone in the media laughing it off?
Missing the point anyone?
Invoking the name of the Lord to codify full-term abortion, Same Sex Marriage, transgender mutilation of children?
Is there no fear of God remaining in this nation?
Then kissing the Pope on the head?
Didn’t Judas kiss Christ in the same manner?
Seems to me we have some hindsight to reflect upon my friends?
There is writing on the wall.
The scribes all missed the First Coming.
Maybe we need to take a moment to evaluate where we are headed.

Trying to convince president to step down after debate implosion

Democratic megadonors discussed holding an intervention to convince President Joe Biden to step down as the party’s nominee after Thursday night’s poor debate performance, The New York Times reported Saturday.
Many have criticized Biden’s performance at the first presidential debate against former President Donald Trump as poor, with the president appearing to freeze at several points, was often hard to understand and made multiple verbal gaffes.
Following the dismal performance, some major Democratic donors spoke of setting up an intervention for the president to convince him to step down from the race, while others hoped Biden would decide to exit on his own after seeing the widespread negative reaction, according to the NYT.
“He deserves the opportunity to reflect and say: ‘I still think I can do this. I still think I am the best choice,’” Democratic donor and friend of the president, Stephen Cozen, told the NYT about what he said to other donors calling for an intervention.
“That’s his decision. And I will stick with him until he makes it.”
Should Biden step down?
Ron Conway and Laurene Powell Jobs, members of a group of Silicon Valley megadonors, were racing to talk to other donors about what they described as a “possible catastrophe” after the debate, according to the NYT.
A possible solution the donors came up with was finding a way to contact First Lady Jill Biden to convince the president to step down from the ticket.
One of those Silicon Valley donors canceled plans to host a fundraiser featuring Biden later this summer, according to the NYT. Despite the concern of losing momentum in receiving donations, the Biden campaign claimed that they had raised $14 million from online sources following the debate into Friday morning.
Biden’s campaign has been struggling to fundraise at the same rate as the Trump campaign over the past few months, despite starting with a $100 million advantage, according to the NYT.
The Biden campaign and the Democratic National Committee had $212 million at the start of June, while the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee had $235 million.
Among the donors critical of the president following the debate, there was talk about which figure could possibly convince the president to step aside, such as former President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer, according to the NYT.
The donors also speculated who could possibly replace the president as the nominee, with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and California Gov. Gavin Newsom among the options.
Despite being a front-runner as a possible replacement for Biden, Newsom has made repeated statements expressing his support for the president and pledging not to run in the 2024 presidential election.
Biden’s mental acuity has long been questioned by opponents, due in part to being the oldest president in American history, with a second term taking him well into his 80s.
Several prominent Democrats who previously defended Biden’s mental acuity were notably quiet following the debate after seeing the president’s performance.
An investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents by special counsel Robert Hur concluded that the president shouldn’t be charged because he appeared as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
The Biden campaign did not immediately respond to a request to comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
