The United Nations’ top panel studying climate change released an in-depth report, outlining the many dire and sometimes cataclysmic consequences of not curbing carbon emissions.

The most vulnerable global populations are already feeling the effects of climate change, which is occurring faster than humans can adapt, according to the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) sixth assessment report published Monday. The wide-ranging report called for increased vigilance and updated pledges, saying that billions of people have already been harmed by climate change despite ongoing initiatives.

“Human-induced climate change, including more frequent and intense extreme events, has caused widespread adverse impacts and related losses and damages to nature and people, beyond natural climate variability,” the report stated.

“The rise in weather and climate extremes has led to some irreversible impacts as natural and human systems are pushed beyond their ability to adapt,” it said.

The report concluded that heatwaves, droughts and floods caused by climate change have already pushed ecological tolerance thresholds, causing mass tree and coral reef mortalities. The impacts are so difficult to contain since they are occurring simultaneously, the report said.

In Africa, Asia, South America, islands and in the Arctic, millions of people are increasingly struggling with acute food and water insecurity because of such impacts, the report said.

“This report is a dire warning about the consequences of inaction,” IPCC Chairman Hoesung Lee said in a statement. “It shows that climate change is a grave and mounting threat to our wellbeing and a healthy planet. Our actions today will shape how people adapt and nature responds to increasing climate risks.”

The report’s bottom line plea was for governments to boost their climate change plans and make “rapid, deep” greenhouse gas emission cuts. Doing so could stave off additional human life loss and damage to biodiversity and infrastructure.

The analysis, the most in-depth of its kind, and it was assembled by 270 authors across 67 countries. The previous assessment report was published in 2014.

“I have seen many scientific reports in my time, but nothing like this,” U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres remarked in a video message Monday. “Today’s IPCC report is an atlas of human suffering and a damning indictment of failed climate leadership. With fact upon fact, this report reveals how people and the planet are getting clobbered by climate change.”

“Nearly half of humanity is living in the danger zone — now. Many ecosystems are at the point of no return — now,” he said. “Unchecked carbon pollution is forcing the world’s most vulnerable on a frog march to destruction — now. The facts are undeniable.”

The U.N. has previously called for increased action to prevent Earth from warming more than 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. Exceeding that threshold could lead to irreversible impacts for humanity, numerous U.N. statements say.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken, meanwhile, said the report was a “reminder” of the seriousness of climate change.

“The IPCC report underscores the ways climate impacts are affecting lives and livelihoods globally now,” Blinken said in a statement. “The report reflects scientists’ increased confidence that the harm already being experienced as a result of climate impacts will worsen as the world continues to warm, with growing adverse effects on economies, ecosystems, and human health.”

Russian military has mobile crematoriums to 'evaporate' dead soldiers, civilian casualties: Report

Share to GabPrint

Events moved fast in Eastern Europe after Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on the Ukraine.

Even before Sunday's dramatic escalation with Putin's order to put Russian nuclear forces on high alert, video clips from the unfolding conflict captured world attention on internet news and social media sites. Footage of explosions, missile barrages, tanks and helicopters showed the intensity of the fighting.

However, the world may never know how many lives were lost. The defense minister of the United Kingdom told the U.K. Telegraph last week that the Russian military may deploy mobile crematoriums to destroy the remains of soldiers killed in action.

The Telegraph shared a 2013 video provided by the British Ministry of Defense. The video demonstrated the device in action.

The silent images showed a bag of unknown material being loaded into a metal cylinder mounted inside of a truck. A worker adjusted controls that activated intense flames inside the cylinder.

Captions added to the video explained, “Defense Secretary Ben Wallace suggests Russia could use these mobile units to avoid sending body bags back home.”

In The Telegraph's report, Wallace commented on the impacts on morale the practice might cause.

"If I was a soldier and knew that my generals had so little faith in me that they followed me around the battlefield in a mobile crematorium, or I was the mother or father of a son, potentially deployed into a combat zone, and my government thought that the way to cover up loss was a mobile crematorium, I’d be deeply, deeply worried,” he said.

Wallace said the way the Russian regime viewed its own soldiers was chilling.

The video does not show the mobile crematorium in military action.

Still, it is easy to see how such an incinerator could be used for sinister purposes. An army could treat casualties not as brave warriors, but as evidence to be eliminated. Crematoriums could be used not only on the Russian militar's own fallen soldiers, but also for opposing forces, or even civilians.

Early Sunday, Reuters reported that at least 64 civilians had been killed in the fighting since Russian troops entered Ukraine last week.

Those numbers -- not to mention military casualties -- will only increase. Ukraine is outmatched in the war. Russia is rated to have a military second only the United States, whereas Ukraine’s forces are ranked as the 22nd most powerful in the world.

After only one day, Russia presented terms for Ukraine’s surrender. The demands are for Ukraine to remain officially neutral, and give up foreign arms.

These moves would leave Ukraine friendless and weak before the aggressive Russians, but have been roundly rejected by the Ukraine government of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On Sunday, according to Fox News, Zelenskyy demanded Russia's ejection from the United Nations Security Council, the international organization's top decision-making body.

So, as of Sunday, the fighting is continuing.

If the reports of the battlefield crematoriums are true, the world may never know how high the cost of the Ukraine resistance was.

Ukraine is a highly devout country – about 87% of its 41 million citizens practice Christianity. So it's notable that, to many Ukrainians, Mary Magdalene now has a new moniker: St. Javelin.

The viral meme recasting the "Apostle of the apostles" is in reverence to a device that knows no religion: the FGM-148 Javelin portable fire-and-forget anti-tank missile. Since the start of Putin's dastardly invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian freedom fighters have extensively utilized the American-made weapon system – co-produced by Lockheed Martin and Raytheon – to rain destruction down upon the Russian military's armored vehicles. Ukraine's Defense Ministry estimates that 102 tanks and 536 armored vehicles had been destroyed as of February 26th. The Javelin likely factored heavily into that rousing combat success.

TRENDING: The German who wants to rule the world

"This weapon allows a single soldier to target and destroy even the most heavily armored main battle tank with an almost guaranteed kill rate, at great range and with minimal risk," Army Capt. Vincent Delany wrote of the Javelin for West Point's Modern War Institute.

So how does this 'holy' piece of military machinery work? Laypersons might be envisioning a bazooka-like operation, but anti-tank weapons have evolved considerably since that quintessential rocket launcher was deployed in World War II. With the Javelin, a soldier using the portable, reusable Command Launch Unit (CLU) looks through an infrared sight to locate a target up to an incredible 2.5 miles away. When the user spots a target, he operates a cursor to set a square around it, almost like cropping an image. This is then sent to the onboard guidance computer on the missile itself, which has a sophisticated algorithmic tracking system coupled with an infrared imaging device. When the missile locks on to the target, the operator can launch the self-guided weapon and quickly relocate or reload to fire another missile at a different target.

The Javelin originally debuted in 1996, bearing a couple remarkable innovations. For one, it offers a "soft launch." David Qi Zhang of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute explained what that means in his Master of Engineering thesis on the Javelin.

"The first motor... produces enough thrust to launch the missile out of the tube and a safe distance away, but is completely burned before the nozzle left the tube, leaving no exhaust to hit the operator. The flight motor then ignites to propel the [missile] along its attack path," he wrote.

A second innovation of the Javelin is that it strikes from above. The missile rises high into the air, up to 490 feet, then blasts down on its target from a steep angle, striking the top of an armored vehicle or tank, where the armor is typically weakest.

Russian tanks are not helpless against the Javelin. Most are equipped with explosive reactive armor. When struck by a penetrating weapon like a missile, the armor detonates, blasting a metal plate outwards to damage the missile's penetrator and prevent it from piercing the tank's main armor. The Javelin overcomes this by having tandem warheads, one to deal with the reactive armor plate, and the second to impact the tank's armor itself. Modern Russian tanks are also equipped with a radar system called Arena, which detects incoming missiles and automatically fires a wide burst of projectiles to destroy or redirect them. But here, again, the Javelin reigns supreme, Delany says.

"The Javelin can defeat Arena while in top-attack mode, due to the missile descending from too steep an angle for the system to engage properly," he wrote.

Ukraine had been shipped roughly 77 launchers and 740 missiles before Putin invaded. Many, many more of each are now on the way courtesy of the U.S. and European allies. May the Ukrainians put them to good use. Slava Ukraini!

Trump: 'We need a full accounting of all of the illegitimate turnout efforts, illegal drop boxes'

Maricopa County, Arizona, officials admitted after the 2020 presidential election that there were some 25,000 ballots counted with mismatched signatures that weren't reviewed, or in the language of the election industry, "cured."

Actually, the number was more than 200,000.

That's according to a study of the county's mail ballots that year that was commissioned by the Arizona State Senate, explains a new report from Just the News.

The study of signature verification processes is just one of the outcomes of the 2020 presidential election ballot count that now is mired in multiple scandals.

TRENDING: The German who wants to rule the world

What is known is that several individual influences probably changed the outcome, including the collusion by the legacy and social media organizations to suppress accurate – and damaging – information about the Biden family's overseas businesses profits.

A subsequent survey by the Media Research Center revealed had that information been disseminated, enough voters would have withheld their support for Joe Biden that he would have lost the election.

Secondly, multiple state and local officials simply ignored, or violated, state laws regarding mail-in ballots to "accommodate" the COVID pandemic.

Finally, Mark Zuckerberg handed out nearly $420 million through a couple of foundations to local elections officials mostly with instructions to recruit voters from Democrat districts. A later report on this activity said this move likely "bought" the election for Biden, and those actions, which fell outside of any ordinary election funding regulation, now are being made illegal in multiple states.

Is it too late for the results of the 2020 presidential election to be overturned?

Just the News reported the study was done by Shiva Ayyadurai's Election Systems Integrity Institute, after the county claimed 25,000, 1.3%, of the 1,911,918 early voting mail ballots "had signature mismatches that required curing." The county said only 587 were confirmed as mismatched signatures.

The report explained, "Under Maricopa County election rules, a reviewer first compares a signature on an envelope with the signature on file for the voter, which takes about 4-30 seconds. If the signature does not appear to match, the ballot is cured, which takes three or more minutes and includes attempts to contact the voter to determine whether or not the signature is a match."

The study involved three expert forensic document examiners and three novices reviewing 499 images of early voting mail ballots – to check the signature match.

"All the reviewers agreed that 60 of the 499 envelopes, or 12% were signature mismatches," Just the News explained. "The pilot study extrapolated from the sample that more than 204,430 ballots should have been cured, and 5,277 should have been rejected."

Ayyadurai said further reviews are warranted.

Former President Trump, at the CPAC meetings over the weekend, addressed "social media censorship of news harmful to Joe Biden during the 2020 campaign and vast private donations to effectively convert public election offices into Democrat voter turnout engines in carefully targeted swing state districts," the report said.

He charged, "A Republican Congress should launch a select committee ... to get to the bottom of Big Tech’s 2020 interference. Let's find out who made the decision to censor the Joe and Hunter Biden corruption bombshell, which the pollsters said amounted to about 15 points, the largest illegal campaign contribution in American history."

He continued, "And let's do a full forensic audit of the $417 million given by [Facebook cofounder] Mark Zuckerberg, who used to come to the White House and kiss my a**, that they spend to take over local election offices in key Democrat counties. And I believe you're going to be hearing a lot of it."

He said, "We need a full accounting of all of the illegitimate turnout efforts, illegal drop boxes, and ballot harvesting that's taken place. You know, we had drop boxes 97% for Joe Biden."

Just the News documented, "Authorities, including some in GOP-run states, have reported not finding evidence of widespread election-altering voter fraud in the November 2020 election. However, several states have acknowledged serious irregularities or unlawful changes to election rules did occur in 2020."

Is This the Final Chapter of Humanity?

Is This the Final Chapter of Humanity?

(Unsplash)

I had the privilege of meeting two members of the Ukrainian Parliament while I was working in Washington, D.C. Tommye and I entertained them in our apartment for two hours. They contacted me specifically because I was known as a pastor who worked to advance Christianity in government, and they were both Christians.

I will never forget the tenderness of their hearts nor the steel in their spines to advance a righteous agenda in their country, known for its graft and corruption. I can only wonder what they are doing today with Russian tanks rumbling through their country and missiles raining down on their loved ones.

What we see unfolding in the Ukraine may be the beginning of the final chapter of humanity. This is a time when every child of God should fall on their faces and cry out to a holy God, and repent for our willful rebellion of His laws and ways.

God has a prophetic time clock, or as I like to think of it, a prophetic combination lock with three roles of tumblers. The unique thing about a combination lock is that even when all three roles of tumblers are aligned, it still appears to be secure ... until the owner applies the slightest touch to the heavy part of the lock, and suddenly it reveals all that has been locked away.

Equally unique is the security of the lock when two tumblers are aligned and the third is only one digit from being aligned. It remains as secure as when all three are disarrayed. Everything must be in place for the lock to be released and, today, it appears everything continues as it always has, but for the discerning we know that the end is near.

Tumbler number one has to do with the state of the church when Jesus returns. The Scripture speaks of a huge falling way and a general lukewarmness spoken of in Revelation 3. Clearly, we are there as wokeness seems to be choking out the life of the church as pastors are increasingly embracing a false theology.

Tumbler number two has to do with the nation of Israel. In my lifetime, we have gone from no Israel and over six million exterminated by a madman in Europe to Israel becoming one of the most powerful nations in the world. There is no explanation for that phenomena apart from a holy God. The Scripture says that the era that sees Israel restored to her rightful place among the nations will not pass away until all things be restored.

The third tumbler has to do with the state of the nations when Jesus returns. It speaks of power to the north and power to the east. Russia and China fill that prophecy and could well be the final tumbler being aligned.

In my podcast, I address these unique moments in history and what it means for America and the world. I strongly suggest you listen and pass it along to your friends.

Even so ... Come, Lord Jesus!

Recover America exists to equip and mobilize pastors and their congregations to engage in the civil arena, providing biblical solutions to today's most pressing issuesRecover America is a non-denominational ministry, representing all churches united in their commitment to the lordship of Christ and His call to believers from every faith persuasion to join our mission to take Jesus into the civil arena and provide biblical solutions to practical problems. We believe the Bible speaks to every area of life and that pastors are the key to a Third Great Awakening.

With End-Times Alliances Solidified, the Good Times Are Largely Behind Us

With End-Times Alliances Solidified, the Good Times Are Largely Behind Us

(YouTube/CBS New York)

Editor's Note: This is Part 2 of a two-part series. For Part 1, visit this link.

It's enormously alarming when a sober business journal such as The Economist slanders a national leader by referring to him as "delusional."

In referring to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the magazine goes further: Vladimir Putin "is driven by the dangerously delusional idea that he has an appointment with history."

The comment appeared in a Feb. 26 article titled: "Where will he stop?" "He seemingly covets all of the Ukraine, just as American and British intelligence reports claimed all along!" The magazine further points out that a continued Russian thrust into the hapless agricultural country can only result in one of two undesirable outcomes:

1. NATO and its allies can step into the fray and chase the Russians back into their home territory. But, with a deluded leader like Putin, this would surely provoke a nuclear response .... leading quickly to an early Armageddon.

2. The alternative is worldwide financial and trade sanctions. This would lead to a further integration of the communist continent, Russia and China, emerging as trade partners (along with their acolyte border states) and ceasing all trade with North America.

Thus, the country with the largest land mass would essentially combine with the country having the largest number of people (combined, just under two billion). Together, their land mass represents a bit over 10 million square miles. Both figures dwarf the comparative U.S. stats.

But these numbers alone merely suggest a possible negative result for the "outside world." Thanks to the efforts of the United Nations and other like-minded governmental agencies, the world has already become solidly integrated financially and productively through massive trade mechanisms. And, for the first time in history, the U.S. economy could be hurt badly in two ways by a blockade against the Communist coalition.

We not only have become dependent on China for strategic supplies of computer chips, for example, but Russia and China together supply large quantities of uranium and other strategic minerals/metals along with endless shiploads of cheaply produced consumer goods.

Even worse, and we can thank the Biden troops for this, our deficit spending, fueled by turning up the printing presses to full speed, has placed us in the uncomfortable spot of owing China a lot of money, which they have been lending to us at a prodigious rate. We produce paper, they produce hardware and now we are greatly in their debt.

So, here we are in a tough spot: Nuclear war or a financial disaster equal to the Great Depression.

Let's get back to our delusional communist leader. The Economist may describe what's going on in psychological terms, but we Christians know better. Putin has allowed a force greater than anything the world can produce to put us all in danger of annihilation (or worse).

The second obvious gambit at work here is the formation on Oct. 24, 1945, of 29 nations collectively creating the United Nations, based in the greatest economic and military power of that era. Thus was launched the satanic program for gaining control of the entire globe.

We're there now! We are one big trade, production and economic family. It's time for the supernatural one-world leader to step in and begin his devilish reign. You know the rest of the story.

Let's step back for a moment to look at my Charisma editorial of Feb.11, "It's No Longer a Guessing Game; End-Times Alliances are Forming."

The article made some predictions for a possible rapture of the church within a short time; possibly as early as 2025. This attracted some flack in personal circles, as well as some from the outside. I'm not crowing here; I'm just reporting on what seems obvious to me as I look about and read about world events and compare them to biblical accounts.

The additional confirmations of recently translated writings by the Essenes also serve to clarify matters. Check with me in about a year, if you can still afford a computer, and we'll chat some more!

How Canada Has Morphed Into the Cuba of North America

How Canada Has Morphed Into the Cuba of North America

(Unsplash)

Canada is leaving the Western world.

In terms of all-encompassing government, suppression of dissent and the denial of fundamental human rights to many of its citizens, Canada is now more similar to Cuba than to any free country. Canada may eventually return to Western civilization, but as of this writing, the majority of Canadians appear to have no interest in it doing so.

According to Maru Public Opinion, "two-thirds (66%) of Canadians support Prime Minister Justin Trudeau bringing in the Emergencies Act ... A majority (56%) of Canadians do not support the truckers who are protesting in any way, shape, or form ... This is a majority view held in every province/region across the country."

I suspect that most Americans—and certainly most people outside of America or Canada—do not know precisely what Canada's Marxist prime minister, Justin Trudeau, is doing to his country.

So, allow me to review.

Last week, for only the second time in Canadian history other than wartime—the first time was under Justin Trudeau's father, Pierre Trudeau, the other Marxist to govern Canada—Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act. This statute enables a Canadian prime minister to suspend fundamental human rights and rule as a dictator.

The CBC described in detail how Trudeau is using the Emergencies Act to destroy the lives of Canadian dissidents. This should be read carefully. Such policies have never been enacted by a Western country against its own citizens (with the extremely rare exceptions of those actively engaged in terrorism):

"Using powers granted under the Emergencies Act, the federal government has directed banks and other financial institutions to stop doing business with people associated with the anti-vaccine mandate convoy occupying the nation's capital.

"The government's new directive, called the 'emergency economic measures order,' goes beyond asking banks to simply stop transferring funds to protest organizers. The government wants banks to stop doing business with some people altogether.

"The order says that banks and other financial entities (like credit unions, co-ops, loan companies, trusts and cryptocurrency platforms) must stop 'providing any financial or related services' to people associated with the protests—a move that will result in frozen accounts, stranded money and cancelled credit cards.

"The Emergencies Act gives authorities the power to freeze the finances of those connected to blockades and protests, and the consequences could last long after the demonstrations end...

"The regulation's definition of a 'designated person' also includes ... anyone sending funds to support these protests ...

"Mark Blumberg is a lawyer at Blumberg Segal LLP who specializes in non-profit and charity law. In an interview, he said that while the Emergencies Act gives banks time-limited powers, these institutions 'may just decide to shut the person's account down' because there could be 'huge risks' for banks servicing these customers in the future. Banks will be working with law enforcement to decide who should be 'de-banked.'

"A senior government official said ... police could gather the names and license plate numbers of people participating in a protest or an unlawful assembly and share that information with FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada) ...

"Former CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) senior strategic analyst Jessica Davis (said) 'the people who are participating in the protest aren't going to be able to do things like pay bills, pay their hotel bills. They will eventually run out of supplies as well...

"With access to bank accounts and credit cards and other financial instruments suspended, protesters won't be able to pay for things like hotel and fuel bills...

"Over the longer term, Davis said, it may be hard for some of the truckers participating to ever find work again because they could lack the necessary insurance to operate a big rig. 'Paying bills, paying rent and any kind of day-to-day financial transaction can be stopped for people who are part of the protest movement,' she said. There may also be some 'unintended consequences' from frozen accounts, such as suspended alimony and child support payments, Davis said. 'It's going to be very difficult for them.'

"Banks have been granted immunity against legal action in the event of disputes over whether someone should have been denied financial services. 'No proceedings under the Emergencies Act and no civil proceedings lie against an entity for complying with this Order,' the regulations read."

None of these life-ruining, due-process defying measures is necessary. The truckers' demonstrations could have been ended by arresting drivers who would not move their trucks or simply just towing their trucks. The purpose of these regulations is to destroy dissenters and deter future dissent. In a word, it is to ruin the lives of those who disobey Justin Trudeau.

As one who has followed Canadian life over the decades—I have lectured in nine of Canada's 10 provinces—the moral descent of Canada is depressing but not especially surprising. Since I was in college in the 1970s, I traveled abroad every year of my life except in 2020—to some 130 countries. I not only took interest in the countries I visited but in the tourists who visited them. I recall well that when I was young, many young Canadians stitched a Canadian flag onto their backpacks. As almost no tourists from other nations did that, I asked Canadians why they did. Their reason was to identify themselves as Canadian rather than as American.

I am not the first observer of Canadians to note that a major part of Canadian identity—especially among Canadian elites—is being a not-American. Many Canadians were and remain first and foremost not-Americans. Other than that, not much defines Canadians. And when a nation stands essentially for nothing, bad things eventually happen—because nothingness is eventually filled or replaced by bad.

On my radio show, I once asked the late Charles Krauthammer, one of the most insightful commentators of this era, what he saw as the greatest difference between his native Canada and his adopted country, the United States. Without hesitation, he said that in America, the national motto is "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness," and in Canada it is "Peace, Order, and Good Government."

The first inspires a nation. The second doesn't.

Upon the death of Fidel Castro, Justin Trudeau gave the most positive assessment of the Cuban tyrant of any Western leader. It is worth quoting in full because it demonstrates Trudeau's affection for communism and because Trudeau is transforming Canada into Cuba:

"It is with deep sorrow that I learned today of the death of Cuba's longest-serving President. Fidel Castro was a larger-than-life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.

"While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro's supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for 'el Comandante.'

"I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honor to meet his three sons and his brother, President Raul Castro, during my recent visit to Cuba.

"On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader."

There does remain one major difference between Canada and Cuba. Few Cubans support their Marxist leaders, but most Canadians support theirs. They don't know what they're in for.
