4 REVOLUTIONARIES WHO SAW REVIVAL CHANGE THEIR WORLDS

At the center of this revival was a controversial woman who was pioneering a path for many who would follow. Her name was Maria Woodworth-Etter.

4 Revolutionaries Who Saw Revival Change Their Worlds

The Trail of Fire tour has come to Dallas, where in 1912 a historic move of God took place and shook the region. At the center of this revival was a controversial woman who was pioneering a path for many who would follow.
Her name was Maria Woodworth-Etter. Though Maria was 68 years old and a woman, she didn't let either deter her from fulfilling her call. She had become a national phenomenon and a prominent voice in the Pentecostal movement and proved that a woman could take a central role in revival, a fact that was demonstrated by the remarkable signs, wonders and miracles that followed her ministry.
Pastor Fred Bosworth invited Maria to come participate in an ongoing revival that had been taking place for the past 17 months at the Dallas Fair Grounds. News of the upcoming meetings with Woodworth-Etter attracted thousands from across the United States and even as far away as Canada.
Five thousand people were in attendance that first night. They had come by train and wagon and were now eagerly awaiting her arrival under the large tent that Bosworth had dubbed the Apostolic Tabernacle.
Also in attendance that night was a large number of sick and disabled individuals who had been carried in on cots or rolled in with wheelchairs. For some it was a disturbing sight, but for Etter, it was a scene filled with opportunity!
Woodworth-Etter had grown over the years in the anointing. Though she was petite in stature, she was a spiritual giant. As she spoke that night, the power of God descended upon the crowd.
Hundreds of men and women began to fall to the ground like stalks of wheat blown over by a strong wind. This was a common sign in her meetings that she often spoke of as the fulfillment of a vision she received the night she answered the call to ministry. Some would lay there in a trance like state for hours, often having visions of heaven or hell.
As the meeting progressed, Woodworth-Etter called for those sick in body to come forward. One of the first to approach the platform was a backslidden man who had come from several hundred miles away. He had recently fallen from a ladder and broken three ribs. The bones were turned into the lungs. He arrived that night in incredible pain. Woodworth-Etter laid her hands directly on the man's chest. He flinched and keeled over in pain. Then, to the surprise of the man and the audience, the pain left. He heard his ribs snap back into place.
He was so overwhelmed that he surrendered his life to Jesus right upon that spot. He then stood before the crowd testifying to the miracle, beating the side of his body with a closed fist to prove he was completely healed.
Also in the meeting was a woman who arrived on a gurney. She was suffering severely from cancer in her stomach as well as tuberculosis. She was nothing but skin and bones with little life left in her. The best doctors in Dallas had given up on her and had sent her home to die. It wasn't advisable for her to be taken from her home, yet she was willing to take the risk. Her family thought she might pass that evening. They patiently waited for the evangelist to come pray for her.
Pastor Fred Bosworth watched intently as Woodworth-Etter laid hands on the woman. It took only a few moments for life to return to her body. She stood up from her gurney instantly healed of both conditions. She began shouting and praising the Lord, along with all those in attendance. The woman didn't miss a meeting after that night and often testified during the revival.
Woodworth-Etter would stay in Dallas through the end of the year. It was one of the greatest revivals the city of Dallas had ever seen. Even Etter and Bosworth would later comment that the Dallas meetings were the most powerful of their respective ministries.
Dallas, Texas is home for my family and was state No. 9 on our tour. We came with great expectation after having received numerous words from respected saints concerning God's desire for the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The meetings themselves were truly extraordinary. We saw many salvations along with several signs and wonders.
It was truly a highlight to come to the historic fair grounds and pray at the site of Maria Woodworth-Etter's meetings. Why? For one, Maria's story is one of my favorites from Trail of Fire as it demonstrates that God is no respecter of persons with regard to who He will use to fan the flames of revival.
Maria stood and spoke up in a time when women were expected to sit and be silent. It is a shame that history has often focused too heavily on the men who shook their nation while missing the women who also contributed. If you take a closer look at some of your favorite historic moves of God, you will often find a woman at the core of those fires who also played a significant role.
For instance, it was Susanna Wesley who gave her son the spiritual foundation that led John Wesley to spark a national awakening in England. It could be said that Wesley's Methodism was first developed and proven in the home of Susanna Wesley. Susanna reached John before John reached the world.
In the Cape Town revival of 1860, it was a young Dutch woman named Miss Van Berk who sparked the great move of God in South Africa. She carried a burden for the neglected African people and as such she was the first to see something even her own minister missed. Revival came as an answer to her intercession.
Likewise, the evangelist Duncan Campbell became the beneficiary of the answered prayers of two elderly sisters, Peggy and Christine Smith. They were the ones who first carried that burden. They prayed until revival became a reality.
God can and will use anyone—male or female, young or old, regardless of race or economic status. Anyone can be a candidate to be used in the next great move of God. The only requirement is a willingness to go.
Maria Woodworth-Etter discovered this, and it became the secret to her success. She simply had faith in God's Word. He said, "And it will be that, afterwards, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy" (Joel 2: 28a). That verse was enough for her, and with faith in that word, she was used to touch a nation.
My friend, the same is true today as well. God is still pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh. It is time the sons and daughters receive that outpouring and become prophetic voices to their generation. Who knows, perhaps the next great move of God is already stirring within you, just waiting to break out.
If you'd like to read more about Maria-Woodworth Etter, pick up a copy of Trail of Fire. Trail of Fire shares true stories from ten historic moves of God and encourages the reader to break free from the dry, dull routine of religion and become catalyst for revival.

WHICH VIEW OF HEAVEN WILL PREVAIL?

March 30, 2017
Which view of heaven will prevail? The difference can mean hell on earth
By Jerry Newcombe

Last week, Khalid Masood, a British-born Jihadist, ran over innocent people in London on the bridge close to Big Ben and then stabbed a police officer to death, before being killed by police. Where is Khalid Masood's soul right now? Presumably, he thought he was taking a short-cut to Paradise.

After 9/11, I once asked Christian leader Dr. D. James Kennedy this question: "Islamic militants believe that suicide missions give them a one-way ticket to Heaven – to Paradise. What will actually happen to them?"

He told me, "These suicide bombers are taught that they will be taken immediately into Paradise where....lovely virgins will await them.
The fact is that they will discover that the same kind of inferno they have created in these buildings will be awaiting them in Hell."

For this column, I reached out for a statement from Robert Spencer of jihadwatch.org. He wrote me the following:

  • The Qur'an promises virgins in Paradise: "And fair women with large eyes, the likenesses of pearls well-protected, as reward for what they used to do." (Qur'an 56:22-24)
  • What does one have to do to get them? The Qur'an offers one guarantee of Paradise: to those who "kill and are killed" for Allah (9:111).
  • The number seventy-two for the virgins of Paradise comes from the Hadith: "None is made to enter Paradise by Allah Most High except Allah Most High shall marry him to seventy-two wives, two of them from the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise and seventy of them his inheritance from the People of Hellfire, not one of them but her attraction never lags nor his arousal ever wanes." (Ibn Majah; Ibn Adi's Kamil; al-Bayhaqi's al-Ba'th wal-Nushur)
  • It's a nonstop orgy: "The Prophet said: 'The believer will be given tremendous strength in Paradise for sexual intercourse.' It was questioned: 'O prophet of Allah! can he do that?' He said: 'He will be given the strength of one hundred persons.'" (Tirmidhi 2536)
The Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11 by Lawrence Wright, observes, "Martyrdom promised such young men an ideal alternative to a life that was so sparing in its rewards. A glorious death beckoned to the sinner, who would be forgiven, it is said, with the first spurt of blood, and he would behold his place in Paradise even before his death....The martyr who is poor will be crowned in heaven with a jewel more valuable than the earth itself. And for those young men who came from cultures were women are shuttered away and rendered unattainable for someone without prospects, martyrdom offers the conjugal pleasures of seventy-two virgins." (p. 123).

Wright quotes Osama bin Laden, who said, "This is jihad!...This is the way we want to go to heaven!"

Several years ago I spoke with another Masood. This one is not a murderer. Steven Masood grew up as a sincere Muslim in Pakistan; he had even memorized the entire Qur'an by the age of 10. He inferred from something he read in the Qur'an that if he were a really good Muslim, he would know the Bible. So he got a copy and started reading it and ended up becoming a believer in Jesus. He said, "In the Gospels, I found Jesus said, 'I am the way.' So, here is a Muslim who was trying for many years, asking God, 'Show me the way.' So, I had to give in. I said, 'Lord, thank You for showing me the way.' And I accepted Him." This caused a rift with his parents, and Steven had to escape Pakistan to stay alive.

I once asked Steven Masood about Jihadists who think they're going to heaven. He said: "They believe that, 'Well, if we are killed, we will go straight into Paradise. It's much easier for us to go into Paradise that way than by performing all the ritual performance and everything and still not knowing that we are going to Paradise of [Allah] or not.'"

Steven Masood has founded jesustomuslims.org. He said, "The Great Commission of our Lord includes the Muslims too, that they should know about Christ, not only that He is just a prophet of God, but He is more than a prophet. He's the Word of God, the Spirit of God. And God sent Him as a Savior into this world and that assurance is available to a Muslim too."

I wish more Muslims would listen to the likes of Steven Masood and eschew the terrible misdeeds of someone like Khalid Masood. Khalid died apart from the grace of Jesus Christ; therefore, do not the words of Dante apply to him? "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

IS PUTIN THE 'PRE-EMINENT STATESMAN' OF OUR TIME?

NEW WORLD DISORDER

IS PUTIN THE 'PRE-EMINENT STATESMAN' OF OUR TIME?

Pat Buchanan spotlights 'his impressive strides toward making Russia great again'

“If we were to use traditional measures for understanding leaders, which involve the defense of borders and national flourishing, Putin would count as the pre-eminent statesman of our time.
“On the world stage, who could vie with him?”
What elevates Putin above all other 21st-century leaders?
“When Putin took power in the winter of 1999-2000, his country was defenseless. It was bankrupt. It was being carved up by its new kleptocratic elites, in collusion with its old imperial rivals, the Americans. Putin changed that.
“In the first decade of this century, he did what Kemal Ataturk had done in Turkey in the 1920s. Out of a crumbling empire, he resurrected a national-state, and gave it coherence and purpose. He disciplined his country’s plutocrats. He restored its military strength. And he refused, with ever blunter rhetoric, to accept for Russia a subservient role in an American-run world system drawn up by foreign politicians and business leaders. His voters credit him with having saved his country.”
Putin’s approval rating, after 17 years in power, exceeds that of any rival Western leader. But while his impressive strides toward making Russia great again explain why he is revered at home and in the Russian diaspora, what explains Putin’s appeal in the West, despite a press that is every bit as savage as President Trump’s?
Answer: Putin stands against the Western progressive vision of what mankind’s future ought to be. Years ago, he aligned himself with traditionalists, nationalists and populists of the West, and against what they had come to despise in their own decadent civilization.
What they abhorred, Putin abhorred. He is a God-and-country Russian patriot. He rejects the New World Order established at the Cold War’s end by the United States. Putin puts Russia first.
And in defying the Americans he speaks for those millions of Europeans who wish to restore their national identities and recapture their lost sovereignty from the supranational European Union. Putin also stands against the progressive moral relativism of a Western elite that has cut its Christian roots to embrace secularism and hedonism.
The U.S. establishment loathes Putin because, they say, he is an aggressor, a tyrant, a “killer.” He invaded and occupies Ukraine. His old KGB comrades assassinate journalists, defectors and dissidents.
Yet while politics under both czars and commissars has often been a blood sport in Russia, what has Putin done to his domestic enemies to rival what our Arab ally Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi has done to the Muslim Brotherhood he overthrew in a military coup in Egypt?
What has Putin done to rival what our NATO ally President Erdogan has done in Turkey, jailing 40,000 people since last July’s coup – or our Philippine ally Rodrigo Duterte, who has presided over the extrajudicial killing of thousands of drug dealers?
Does anyone think President Xi Jinping would have handled mass demonstrations against his regime in Tienanmen Square more gingerly than did President Putin this last week in Moscow?
Much of the hostility toward Putin stems from the fact that he not only defies the West, when standing up for Russia’s interests, he often succeeds in his defiance and goes unpunished and unrepentant.
He not only remains popular in his own country, but has admirers in nations whose political establishments are implacably hostile to him.
In December, one poll found 37 percent of all Republicans had a favorable view of the Russian leader, but only 17 percent were positive on President Barack Obama.
There is another reason Putin is viewed favorably. Millions of ethnonationalists who wish to see their nations secede from the EU see him as an ally. While Putin has openly welcomed many of these movements, America’s elite do not take even a neutral stance.
Putin has read the new century better than his rivals. While the 20th century saw the world divided between a Communist East and a free and democratic West, new and different struggles define the 21st.
The new dividing lines are between social conservatism and self-indulgent secularism, between tribalism and transnationalism, between the nation-state and the New World Order.
On the new dividing lines, Putin is on the side of the insurgents. Those who envision de Gaulle’s Europe of Nations replacing the vision of One Europe, toward which the EU is heading, see Putin as an ally.
So the old question arises: Who owns the future?
In the new struggles of the new century, it is not impossible that Russia – as was America in the Cold War – may be on the winning side. Secessionist parties across Europe already look to Moscow rather than across the Atlantic.
“Putin has become a symbol of national sovereignty in its battle with globalism,” writes Caldwell.
“That turns out to be the big battle of our times. As our last election shows, that’s true even here.”

My comments: Trump won the election in the U.S., but the "Left" still rules America. Unless that changes, Trump will Fail. For instance, the "Left" cannot continue to Control Public Education, and America have any Future before the Living God.

TRUMP'S THE ART OF A BAD DEAL

BETWEEN THE LINES

THE ART OF A BAD DEAL

Exclusive: Joseph Farah is shocked Trump sided with Ryan over Freedom Caucus

The good news about Donald Trump is that it took him two months to disappoint me and many others who voted for him, supported him enthusiastically and championed his candidacy when we were told there was no chance for him to win.
He has been so strong in so many ways in the first two months of his presidency. His performance has been unprecedented in my lifetime of watching politics.
But the really bad news is what he has done with Obamacare, betraying one of the signature promises of his campaign, a vow he didn’t just break, but shattered, while blaming the very people who were trying to keep the promise – the House Freedom Caucus.
I invite you to watch the video montage I had put together of Trump’s repeated promises not to dismantle Obamacare piecemeal over a year or two, but to do it “immediately”:
I doubt he would be president today if he had not been so adamant on that promise.
But today, in his third month in office, he has declared war on the House Freedom Caucus, a singularly courageous and committed group of conservative Republicans, for fighting to keep their promise to their constituents to repeal Obamacare, as well as to fight for what Trump unequivocally promised to do.
By the way, while Paul Ryan was criticizing Trump, distancing himself from him throughout the campaign and refusing, at times, to campaign with him, most of the members of the House Freedom Caucus were behind Trump 100 percent, certainly once he got the Republican nomination.
Yet Trump, who had run against the Republican establishment, threw his lot in with the personification of that establishment in the person of Paul Ryan. He cobbled together a bill that didn’t even come close to repealing Obamacare – certainly none of the more egregious components of it – and demanded that all Republicans betray their word, their vows, their promises to their constituents, by supporting that abomination of a bill, one that certainly would have resulted in higher health-insurance costs and leave Obama’s socialist legacy largely in place.
I’m stunned.
Today Trump told his supporters they should fight against Democrats and members of the Freedom Caucus in 2018.
Is that what we should expect from the best-selling author of “The Art of the Deal”?
I call it the art of a bad deal.
Trump didn’t try to slowly dismantle the trade legislation he so opposed during the campaign. He just killed it.
Trump didn’t try to slowly dismantle the insane refugee program he so opposed during the campaign. He just killed it.
Trump didn’t try to slowly dismantle, in partnership with the worst elements of the Republican Party, other bad policies and programs. He just swung his ax.
So why did he act so differently when it came time to addressing arguably the biggest issue of the 2016 campaign – Obamacare?
I don’t know. I don’t have an answer. It makes no rational sense.
But, worse yet, he’s blaming those who supported him unequivocally and enthusiastically throughout the campaign against Hillary Clinton and threw his lot in with play-it-safe establishment types like Ryan and plenty of Never-Trumpers in the squishy middle of the Republican Party.
It’s a shame. It’s a lost opportunity. It’s incredibly divisive. No wonder the Democrats are celebrating.
If it could get worse, Trump is now flirting with the idea of working with the Democrats on revised health-care legislation.
I know Trump wants to act quickly to make things happen in Washington. But he picked the wrong horse to work with in Paul Ryan. He should have embraced the House Freedom Caucus and used his persuasive deal-making artfulness by ramming through legislation for repeal of Obamacare, something all Republicans supported at least a dozen times in votes in recent years.
Tell me how I’m wrong.

My comments: One could conclude from President Trump's actions with regard to the Healthcare Plan he and Ryan proposed, that it was in line with his philosophy of Healthcare. And if he decides to get something done with the Democrats, rather than the Republicans, this will be proven true. If so he may not be the man Red America voted for.

ARMY'S DIVERSITY PLAN BLASTED AS ANTI-FAITH

(WASHINGTON TIMES) The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command is accused by a chaplain’s group of using “unconscious bias” training to undermine soldiers who subscribe to core tenets of the Christian faith.
The Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty says that a training plan adopted in January by then-Army Secretary Eric Fanning will surreptitiously try to normalize sexual behavior that Christians consider sinful. The Jan. 18 directive seeks to root out “implicit or unconscious bias” of senior leadership and others in positions of authority.
Ron Crews, a retired Army chaplain and executive director of the group, said the plan was a sociological experiment designed to discourage faith.

My comments: If the Army and the Military continue to Promote Homosexuality as normal human behavior, which is against God and His Word, America will have an Impotent Military, before the Living God.

MOMS DECLARE HOLY WAR AFTER SCHOOL TEACHES ISLAM 'TRUE FAITH'

Scene from the 5-minute film shown to 6th and 7th grade students as part of the core standards in New Jersey and other states.

IMAM, BASEBALL AND APPLE PIE

MOMS DECLARE HOLY WAR AFTER SCHOOL TEACHES ISLAM 'TRUE FAITH'

Women pilloried as 'KKK' for going public with lesson concerns

A middle school in Chatham, New Jersey, is using a cartoon video to teach the Five Pillars of Islam to seventh-grade students, and now two parents have obtained legal services to fight the school district which has ignored their concerns.
Seventh graders in this school are taught: “May God help us all find the true faith, Islam.”
Also taught in the video is the Shahada, which is the Muslim prayer of conversion “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.”
The parents say no other religion is taught nearly to this level of detail in the “world cultures and geography” class.
The parents wanted to know who picked the curriculum, who picked the video and the accompanying PowerPoint. None of their concerns have been addressed by the school board or the superintendent.
So, the two mothers have retained legal help from the Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Thomas More Law Center.
For speaking out, the moms have been attacked by members of their community. Their crime: appearing on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to voice concerns about Islamic indoctrination of Chatham Middle School seventh graders.
“To me that’s not education because in order to educate you need to teach about all [religions],” said Libby Hilsenrath, one of the two mothers who is pushing back against the class curriculum, in an interview with Carlson.
“Would they be comfortable teaching the doctrines of Christianity for example. Would you be comfortable in a public school to say ‘Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and no one comes to [the Father] except through me’? I don’t think so,” she said.
“I’m all in favor of teaching religion if it’s all done in the same manner and with the same depth,” added the other mother, Nancy Gayer.
The teaching is part of New Jersey’s core content standards.
Yet, for their common-sense objections to the video, the parents were immediately denounced by other parents and school officials as bigots, xenophobic and Islamophobic. The sensational attacks came in a newspaper op-ed, in social media, and even took the form of being ‘stared down’ at the local grocery store, they said.
“It went as far as we were ‘part of the KKK,’ which I don’t know what that has to do with this,” Hilsenrath said.
“The promotion of Islam is worse than what the mothers presented to Tucker Carlson,” said Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center. “After viewing one of the videos which the seventh graders were directed to watch, I can’t imagine any objective person saying this is not Islamic indoctrination.
“Clueless school administrators across our nation are allowing this type of indoctrination to take place and it’s up to vigilant parents to stop it,” he added. “Libby and Nancy should have been praised, not pilloried.”
Concerned parents get brushed off
Hilsenrath and Gayer, with sons in different classes in the seventh grade, explained their concerns in person to the Chatham Board of Education at their Feb. 6, 2017, public meeting. Superintendent Michael LaSusa indicated that any change to the curriculum was unlikely, and the next day also refused their request to meet privately with him to discuss their concerns.
Thompson said students were shown the subtle propaganda cartoon video, “5 Pillars,” which opens with two boys, one of them a Muslim, kicking a soccer ball.
The Muslim boy teaches the non-Muslim the 5 Pillars of Islam. Then, a subtitle of bright, multi-colored words of various shapes pronounces a form of the Islamic conversion creed: “There is no god except Allah and Prophet Muhammad is His messenger.”
The cartoon ends with a sad non-Muslim boy, who suddenly smiles when the Muslim boy invites him to join him at the mosque for noon-day prayers. That is “Something the teacher can’t personally do, but does through the cartoon. Clever!” says Thompson.
Here’s excerpts from the video:
Here’s the promotion used in school encouraging kids to adopt Islam:
Clearly, seventh graders had been presented with a sugarcoated, false depiction of Islam. They had not been informed of the kidnappings, beheadings, slave-trading, massacres, and persecution of non-Muslims, nor of the repression of women — all done in the name of Islam and the Koran.
Libby Hilsenrath and Nancy Gayer were subjected to personal attacks throughout their campaign to stop Islamic indoctrination at the Chatham Middle School.
They were defamed as “bigots” and “Islamophobes”, “hateful”, “ignorant”, “xenophobes”, “intolerant”, “racist”, “closed minded”, “sad and ignorant” in social media, and the list goes on. The attacks significantly intensified after their appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show.
Gayer

Commenting on the community’s reaction, Nancy Gayer stated: “It’s just not fair that within this unit of study the Chatham school district taught one religion to the exclusion of all others, and for the community to be so unkind and unwelcoming towards us, just for having raised legitimate questions as concerned parents.”
Libby Hilsenrath added, “One of my fundamental obligations as a parent is to guide the religious and secular education of my children. That’s why I will continue the fight against the Islamic indoctrination now taking place at Chatham, regardless of the personal attacks.”
Hilsenrath and Gayer asked the board to review the curriculum and requested that either the Islam lessons be removed or that the school spend equal time on the study of Christianity and other religions.
Gayer contrasted the World Cultures and Geography lessons on Islam to her son’s previous experience in fourth grade when he was prevented from including a short quote from the Bible, “he who lends to the poor, lends to the Lord.” (Prov 19:17) The quote was a part of his video presentation related to gathering warm clothes for underprivileged children. Gayer said her son’s teacher informed him that the brief biblical quote “belongs in Sunday school, not in the classroom.”
Obviously, based upon the world cultures and geography lessons being taught to children within the same school district, this abridgment of religious speech does not apply to Islam.
The same video, as well as other techniques are used to teach the Five Pillars of Islam in public schools across the U.S. This has been going on since at least 2011, but in most school districts parents are either unaware of the teachings, are clueless about the exact content or simply don’t care.
Teaching the five pillars of Islam did create an uproar last month in Summerville, South Carolina, and in Loganville, Georgia, last year. Parents in Tennessee have also expressed everything from concern to outrage at the Islamic teachings in that state.
“There is a big difference between education and indoctrination,” U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., said in a statement issued in 2015 to the Nashville Tennessean.
“It is reprehensible that our school system has exhibited this double-standard, more concerned with teaching the practices of Islam than the history of Christianity. Tennessee parents have a right to be outraged and I stand by them in this fight.”
WND reported last week that Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas, has set up an Islamic prayer room specifically for Muslim students to pray on campus during school hours. The same type of prayer rooms have been set up in high schools in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and other school districts.

My comments: This story portrays the Degenerate Nature of U.S. Public Schools. Why do they favor Islam, which is Antithetical to Christianity, and Antithetical to Liberal Ideology? lt makes No Sense! But here it is. If America continues to Embrace Islam it has No Future before the Living God.
