WHY MILLENNIALS ARE TURNED OFF BY ALL THIS END-TIME TALK

A group of several hundred deliver petitions to the U.S. Capitol in support of the Iran Deal. This generation of believers will not join the church if all they hear is gloom, doom and panic about the future.

Why Millennials Are Turned Off by All This End-Time Talk

It never fails: If the office goes quiet for more than five minutes, I start to look around. If everyone's missing, I have a slow sense of panic that creeps along my spine.
"The Rapture," I think to myself. "It's happened. Uh oh." And then my brain proceeds to remember every terrifying moment of the 40 Kids Left Behind books I read growing up.
As a Christian, Pentecostal millennial, I feel like I am floating between two worlds: One world begs me to look at what's going on in current events—the Iran Deal, ISIS, earthquakes, gay marriage—and take an attitude of godly fear as I steel myself for what's ahead.
The other world takes those same events and begs for an intrinsic analysis: How does the Iran Deal affect my politics and voting choices? Should I send money to help relief work in Nepal? How can I let my gay friends know that I don't hate them for their choices but want to show them the love of God?
It's hard to balance both. On the one hand, I look at the earth literally trembling and think to myself, "Well, won't be long now!
But on the other hand, I remind myself that persecution and natural disasters have happened for millennia, and we're just more aware now because of the advent of the Internet and social media.
Imagine being alive during the Roman reign, Spanish Inquisition, Bloody Mary, slavery, any of the World Wars—I'm pretty sure those felt like the end of the world to Christians then.
Yet, we remain. We move on as countries, as people. We build our families and live our lives.
However, I'm from a generation that's looking to our future, and days to come can be intimidating when the headlines are full of despair. The more stories I read about the gut-wrenching attacks against Saeed Abedini, unborn children, Coptic Christians or even U.S. citizens who didn't want to bake cakes for someone they didn't agree with, the more I wonder just how close we are to Christ's return.
Tack those observations on to the blood moon and Shemitah patterns, and my head starts to spin.
Whether or not we are in the end of times, what I do know is bemoaning the state of affairs without an appeal to Heaven with a sense of hope will do nothing to improve our condition.
When we talk about end times, I think there's a sense of fear mongering that exists in the form of warnings. Someone close to me once confessed she grew up believing she would never get married, have children or live to even to her 20th birthday because the Antichrist was coming.
Trust me when I say this friend is alive and kicking, well past those milestones and looking forward to many more. But until she conquered her fear and realized that Christ is still on the throne, she couldn't live the life He planned for her.
When we live in a state of fear about the future, we hinder ourselves from celebrating what Christ can do in the now and how we can affect the future for His glory.
Are we so caught up in warning about the downfall of the American church and the eventual return of Jesus that we forget to serve the poor, to encourage one another, to spend time just loving on the Holy Spirit? The early church was founded on these attributes, and it transformed the world and enabled the gospel to spread further than anyone could imagine!
The beautiful thing about the millennial generation is our tenacity, our desire to work to make the community we live in better. We aren't looking at the coming days with a sense of trepidation or fatalism about the downfall of America.
Rather, we're looking for answers to reconstruct the building blocks of society. Some may call us spoiled, ungrateful, addicted and selfish. But those "weaknesses" can also be strengths, because we've seen the good and want to improve upon it.
We don't settle for tradition because someone told us to. Instead, we're searching for answers, and that includes diving into the Bible to fill that God-shaped hole in our lives.
When Christian headlines scream about the negative, we tune that out because it doesn't enhance the world we live in. Christians have an incredible opportunity to walk out their lives like Christ did. Yes, Christ got angry, but He sought justice in His indignation. We need older generations of Christians to show us how to do this.
If we are in the end times, I think I would rather have a mentor guiding me to show others how they can be one with Christ rather than someone who goes, "There were signs! Look at the signs!"
Let's take those signs and turn them into practical steps, sharing the gospel so that none shall perish, as is God's wish in 2 Peter 3:9.
If all millennials hear about the future of the church is gloom and doom that's decaying because of society, how can we expected to join the cause? Just like a flower will not grow if you yell and stomp on it, saying, "Look at all these thorns, you won't be able to survive these attacks," you can't tell this generation of believers that we won't survive what's to come.
In such a time as this, I feel called to be a peacemaker. I want to be known by my fruit—by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control—not by my fear.
The first thing a messenger of the Lord will tell those he visits is "Fear not." In all this talk of the end times, I feel like we've forgotten that element, and in doing so, we are scaring off believers who want the simplicity of the gospel: For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son.
In such a time as this, it is vital that we seek first the kingdom of God, as the Bible says, and His righteousness. Then, and only then, will our clarity come.

My comment: The Return of Chrsit Jesus is reason that we, as Christians, have Hope. There is no Hope for the World and never has been. The Whole World is under the Control of the Evil One [John 5:19] and always has been. It is by the Grace of God alone that the World has existed until now--But it is Passing Away as it has been from the Beginning [1 Corinthians 7:31]. Father Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on Earth as in Heaven! Every Christian, in every generation has prayed that prayer and sought First and above all else the Kingdom of God which is within you [Luke 17:21].

THE DEMOCRATS EXPLOYTATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE

Plunder and Deceit

By David Limbaugh | July 31, 2015 | 5:18 AM EDT
Can we simultaneously love our children and betray their generation and generations unborn?
Do I have your attention? I hope so, but I can't take credit for that lead. I stole it from Page 1 of Mark Levin's new book, "Plunder and Deceit: Big Government's Exploitation of Young People and the Future."
Conservatives have long decried the left's feigned concern "for the children" while it pursues an agenda that is wrecking their future, from Social Security and other budget-busting entitlements to the undermining of our national security. But no one has devoted a book to turning this meme on its head and cogently proving the statists guilty of that which they falsely accuse others.
There's a big difference between the left's invoking "the children" and Levin's doing so, for leftists only do it to obscure policy issues they can't argue on the merits. Levin mentions the children not to divert you from logical thinking but to coax you into it.
Universally, parents strive to give their children better opportunities than they had. Today, however, the situation is — shockingly — reversed. The current generation, at the behest of the statist political class and its enablers, is living on the backs of its children in the cynical name of safeguarding their interests. Those in this generation are mortgaging their children's future to make their own lives more comfortable.
Statist defenders of the status quo will protest that these are outrageous charges and that they are trying to improve everyone's life, including those in the rising generation. But the stubborn facts belie their claims. When anyone brings up these subjects, they either change the channel or start their familiar fearmongering and scapegoating — anything to avoid a fair examination of the issues.
Levin's book is precisely what the nation needs to force a public discussion of these issues and to keep statists' hands off the remote. Levin is uniquely suited to call our attention to the horrifying facts because 1) he makes the complex understandable; 2) people read his books; 3) he meticulously documents every position he takes; 4) he understands statists' motivations; 5) he has the credibility to sound another national warning; 6) no matter how dire our circumstances appear, he refuses to accept defeat; and 7) unlike so many other critics, he offers concrete, practical and realistic solutions.
Anyone remotely attuned to current events knows that the United States is racing toward Greek-level insolvency. He knows our national debt exceeds $18 trillion. But does he know this figure is vastly understated, as Levin demonstrates? Does he realize that our government's unfunded liabilities are about $100 trillion and that if we don't make structural adjustments to our smorgasbord of "entitlement" programs, they will consume 100 percent of tax revenues by 2039 — conservatively estimated?
Everyone should know these things, yet people seem to assume there's no need for panic because our ruling class isn't concerned. Every time any conservative warns of this inevitable fiscal Armageddon, the statists and their media henchmen set out to destroy him as an evil Scrooge hellbent on hoarding all the wealth for "the rich."
Imagine if the political left in this country expended one-fourth the energy calling the public's attention to the looming fiscal crisis, which actually threatens our kids' future, as it does in hyping "global warming," which doesn't. We could turn things around within a generation — provided we were willing to make modest sacrifices, which truly would be for the children.
Dream on. Leftists are not about to join us and will continue to slander everyone who sounds the alarm. That's why Levin's book is so necessary and so timely.
I have long understood that Social Security and Medicare are upside-down, but after reading Levin's book, I know exactly why. I now have all the facts and figures at my fingertips, unpleasant as they are. Levin deals with one devastating issue per chapter: the debt, Social Security, education, immigration, the environment, the minimum wage, national security and the Constitution. He documents how the statists are destroying this nation — and our children's future — in all these categories.
I admit that Mark Levin is my good friend, but it honestly amazes me how, in a relatively short book, he can present power-packed information on all these critical issues as thoroughly as the densest textbook yet in a style as readable and riveting as any best-selling novel.
This book is a one-stop shop on the vital issues that our generation must address. As Levin points out, ultimately these are more than economic and national security issues. They are moral issues. We have a moral obligation to place these matters on the front burner, no matter how deceptively distant they may seem to us now and regardless of what kind of heat we take.
Don't give the statists the benefit of the doubt, for they have to know what they are doing. The numbers do not lie, and Levin provides all the numbers in this book. This is purely a matter of plunder by deceit.
Despite how ominous all this sounds, we can make the necessary changes to turn this ship around. God bless Mark Levin for once again warning the nation and providing us a way out of this nightmare.

WH Backs Planned Parenthood And Their 'High Ethical Standard'

(CNSNews.com) - White House Spokesperson Josh Earnest says he suspects somebody in the Obama Administration has seen a series of videos on Planned Parenthood’s role in harvesting the organs of babies, but the administration is basing its position that the videos are edited unfairly on the comments of Planned Parenthood and “the high ethical standard they live up to.”

My comments: Obama is Void of Ethical Standards as is PP. They are godless, without Conscience, the offspring of Nazis.

CHINESE CHRISTIANS HIT BACK IN GOVERNMENT'S WAR ON CROSS

(Hong Kong Free Press) Christians in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province have launched a cross making and wearing campaign amid a year-long “clean-up movement” by the local government to remove exterior church crosses.
A Christian based in Wenzhou uploaded pictures on the social media platform Weibo showing people making crosses out of wood and painting them red in what appeared to be a small workshop.
Zhejiang Christian churches urged believers to hang crosses up at home and wear them, a message posted by the Weibo user along with the pictures said, adding “Let the cross take a root in everyone’s heart”.

GOP PREPPING HARDLINE PLANNED PARENTHOOD STRATEGY

(POLITICO) Republicans are rallying behind a bare-knuckle strategy to strip Planned Parenthood’s government support via a must-pass fall spending bill, a momentum shift that dramatically increases the chances of a government shutdown fight this fall.
What started out as a push from socially conservative firebrands like Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and 18 House members on Wednesday, is spreading to include more centrist members of the Senate GOP. On Thursday, Arizona Republican John McCain, who often tacks to the middle in the Senate, not only backed a plan to link Planned Parenthood defunding with spending legislation, he suggested the move was inevitable.
“It could invite a fight, but I think most Americans do not believe that their tax dollars should be used to fund the kind of grotesque procedures we’ve seen authenticated,” said McCain, who is trying to box out any primary challenge. “I would vote for a spending bill that defunded it, and that’s the way it’s going to be … it’s pretty obvious.”

TRUMP'S 'REALITY TV' WON'T SAVE AMERICA

ELECTION 2016

TRUMP'S 'REALITY TV' WON'T SAVE AMERICA

Exclusive: Alan Keyes reveals only way nation's 'true hope' can be restored

Donald Trump is conservative Un-cola. Nonetheless, he has from early on sought to promote himself as the new Ronald Reagan. Not long ago, I published a column (“Sorry folks, Demagogue Donald is no Ronald Reagan“) relevant to this ploy. It’s a patently false comparison. Ronald Reagan’s victory in the 1980 election cycle was the culmination of an authentic, grassroots conservative movement for which he had been a focal point for at least 20 years.
Though he had a good career as an actor, Ronald Reagan did not win the presidency wearing a recently fabricated political persona. He was a man of proven character who had for many years labored to strengthen America’s appreciation of blessings of liberty, and our resistance to the leftist political doggerel that was already well advanced in its long march to conquer the mind and will of America’s elites.
Reagan preached against the socialist delusion, whether it involved the iron fisted evils of Soviet-style communism, or the velveteen promises of massive egalitarianism that masked the perpetuation of elitist rule in the European countries of the “free world.”
By simply taking account of events over the past few months, the outward appearance of Donald Trump’s foray into GOP presidential politics resembles Reagan’s political saga – the way the characters and events in a made-for-TV docudrama resemble those in real life. But the Trump campaign isn’t docudrama; it’s reality TV. The attacks from elitist faction quislings in the GOP, and Trump’s once and future buddies in the elitist faction media are improvisational theatre. Donald Trump is a character playing himself in real life, but he’s also a skilled manipulator, playing the audience for effect.
If, in 1980, you looked into Ronald Reagan’s background, everything you found, going back for 20 years and more, would correspond to the person who was running for office during the 1980 election cycle.
If today you look into Donald Trump’s background, the rhetoric he has deployed as a GOP contender has no counterpart in his previous life as a citizen. Donald Trump mainly labored in the cause of his own self-aggrandizement. He took little or no interest in the issues that confronted the body politic, except to serve the same cause.
When he did use his money for political purposes, his actions reflected the predilections of the leftist wing of the elitist faction, in whose social and business circles he mainly moved.
The fact that he brazenly flaunts this fact doesn’t change it. For most of his life, there was nothing about Donald Trump that even faintly reflected the lives, hearts and real concerns of the grassroots conservatives he is presently exciting with his spoken lines.
On his way to amassing a sizeable fortune, ordinary folks mainly played the role of the grass being trampled, or the ground disturbed and exploited, as his various projects rose toward the fulfillment of his personal ambitions.
How exactly does this resemble the life in service to liberty Ronald Reagan lived for several decades, many years of which were spent erecting monuments to America’s principles, spirit and hope in the hearts of ordinary people, who could reward him with little more than their applause and their investment of hope and good will?
If he is, in fact, really committed to the goal of becoming president of the United States, Donald Trump seeks that result as a man of ambition, aspiring quite literally to set the White House on his life’s mantelpiece, next to his trophy office buildings, casinos and wives.
It’s more likely, however, that he is acting, as he has mostly done in his business life, as the agent of a consortium of powerful interests, to whom he must and will inevitably give heed, whatever mock fights they stage to the contrary.
All in all, Donald Trump is the ideal candidate for conservative voters desperate enough to think that the façade towns constructed as backdrops for the movies would actually be great places to live.
I think that they are sadly, tragically mistaken. I believe that Donald Trump’s candidacy serves the elitist faction’s anti-American strategic purposes: First, to gull conservatives into keep their heads in the rigged elitist faction political game. Second, in that context, to gather them together in one place, from whence their own votes will be deployed to a) overthrow their hopes for their country; and b) elect the individual intended to be the focal point for the elitist faction dictatorship poised to replace, once and for all, the constitutional republic that is our nation’s birthright heritage. Whether that person is Donald Trump, Jeb Bush or some leftist Democrat, the end result will be the same.
I don’t expect Trump enthusiasts to agree with me at the moment. To paraphrase, they are like the mother of Coriolanus in Shakespeare’s play: “Anger’s their meat, they sup upon themselves.”
At some point, however, the self-consumed reality of Trump’s offered repast will become painfully clear to most of them. For some, that process may already have begun on the issue of amnesty for illegal immigrants. On Trump’s socialist approach to health care and his indifference to the issue of unalienable right with respect to marriage, it will continue.
I hope that as anger against the GOP quislings ceases to blind them, patriotic conservatives will also open their eyes to what I have been trying to get them to see since 2008: If the only hope the GOP process now feigns to offer them turns out to be false, it is because the GOP is now inalterably controlled by anti-American forces determined to make sure no true conservatism ever again prevails in America’s political process.
No GOP candidate will ever emerge to “save America.” True Americans are not, in any case, looking for such a savior. America’s true hope can only be restored by an initiative of the voters themselves. The answer is not to look for some candidate savior, but to act with the courage of the Savior God provides. Abandon the sham political process that will never again be true to Him.
Instead of wasting time on anger or despair, rouse the energy of righteous indignation and goodwill. America’s true conservative patriots must then do what they should already be doing now: Gather all our good faith, spirit and political strength in the task of building a politics fit to implement the U.S. Constitution, and restore respect for the principles of God-endowed right, including liberty, without which its life will never be renewed.

DEAR CONGRESS: YOU CAN STOP THE 'NEW HOLOCAUST'

ON CAPITOL HILL

DEAR CONGRESS: YOU CAN STOP THE 'NEW HOLOCAUST'

Exclusive: Aliza Davidovit issues open letter to U.S. lawmakers urging them to block Iran deal

Dear members of Congress,
This letter is to express our deep and unyielding concern about the nuclear deal with Iran and to implore you and your confreres in Congress to block it.
It remains perplexing to rational minds that anyone can believe Iran will dutifully comply with its nuclear commitments while simultaneously not believe Iran’s avowed commitments to destroy America and to wipe Israel off the map.
It seems desperate ears have become more discriminatory than high-tech headsets that cancel out any ambient unpleasant sound – like the ringing of truth. With all due respect, one need not be fluent in Persian to understand a forked tongue. It is sufficient that we are being lied to, but let’s not tip the travesty by lying to ourselves. Having selective hearing today will result in a nuclear deafening reality tomorrow.
You promised the Jewish people and humanity “never again.” Was that phrase meant to pacify in the same spirit as the canard “the check is in the mail”? It’s now 70 years later, we really need to cash that check, and just when we are most banking on your courage, conscience and convictions, we pray your promissory note of “never again” is not returned NSF.
The issue at hand is not about a competition between our president and Israel’s prime minister; it is not about party allegiance, Democrat versus Republican. It’s also not about rooting for MSNBC as opposed to booing Fox News. The preceding are petty considerations in the face of the calamitous and wide-reaching consequences that can result from this deal.
The future of humanity is in your hands and, as I’m sure you’ve heard before, hope is not a strategy. You are the chosen few whom the American people have entrusted, whom G-d is testing and whom humanity will hold accountable. We urge you to block this deadly deal because it is bad for America, not just Israel:
  • Iran’s ICBM program clearly indicates that Iran not only has long-term objectives, but long-distance ones as well. The Jewish state is Iran’s neighbor. Long-range missiles are redundant for such a proximate neighbor. These missiles have a more distant three-letter target: the U.S.A.
  • Our own State Department qualifies Iran as an “active state sponsor of terrorism” that supplies America’s declared enemies with arms. Once Iran becomes a nuclear state, it will have the ability to export not only arms, but weapons of mass destruction.
  • Even after signing the nuclear deal, Iran’s supreme leader declared that hostility between the Islamic republic and the “arrogant” United States will not abate.
  • The nuclear deal could very well pit America against Israel – its ally – in defense of Iran if Israel takes pre-emptive action. This deal, in snow globe fashion, has shaken up the world as we know it and catapulted countries into new and unprecedented alignments. The “axis of evil” has seismically shifted. Now Middle East allies announce their own intentions of acquiring nuclear weaponry to maintain military deterrence. If the intended goal is non-proliferation, why endorse an about-face toward nuclear conflagration?
Members of Congress, I have often wondered how the Holocaust could have happened. I wondered how the 20,000 Jews in my father’s home town of Sighet, Romania, were allowed to be murdered by the Nazis. Couldn’t anyone at all hear the cries and sobs of my family, of the children, of the women, of anyone, as they were mercilessly herded to death? Did the world’s leaders then also have selective hearing?
Too many innocents have died for the Holocaust to be relegated to museums and preserved behind bulletproof glass. Its lessons are organic: Those who forget or flout their history are destined to walk that road again. Do we live in such topsy-turvy times that those who voice their fears of annihilation are lambasted and yet those who threaten to unleash a new Holocaust are rewarded?
The answer to my childhood quandary about World War II has become so alarmingly clear: The lambs hope for the best, while the wolves prepare for dinner. Tragically, both America and Israel are on the menu. All of Arak’s heavy water hardly washes that truth away.
Please vote nay!
Yours truly,
Aliza Davidovit
A concerned American

PROFLIGATE OBAMA WANTS MORE DEBT

WND

OBAMA WANTS MORE THAN $18,113,000,000,000.00 DEBT

Treasury secretary warns Congress to raise borrowing limit

Bob Unruh

The Obama administration this week is warning Congress that it needs to raise the nation’s debt ceiling – the maximum the government can legally borrow – beyond its current $18,113,000,000,000.00 because officials already are having to juggle the books to keep the balance in the black

The issue repeatedly has been the source of conflict in Washington, with a standoff in 2011 leading to a downgrade in the nation’s credit rating by one rating agency and another in 2013 developing into a two-week shutdown of some portions of government when Barack Obama refused to negotiate with Congress.
Now, according to CNN, Treasure Secretary Jack Lew has dispatched to leaders of the legislative bodies a letter telling them they need to raise the ceiling and soon.
Or lawmakers could, according to another plan, from the Government Accountability Office, simply eliminate the ceiling entirely.
To give the president virtually unlimited borrowing authority.
The recent GAO report said such a move would eliminate the possibility there would be no money available to pay interest on the nation’s debt when it comes due.
Reported CNN, “This scenario would also reduce the potential for disruptions to financial markets well before a deadline that approaches for defaulting on the debt.”
The current debt ceiling of $18,113,000,000,000.00 was reached in mid-March, but administration officials say they are operating the government on “extraordinary measures” for now – essentially transferring funds around, utilizing those accounts with balances and delaying scheduled payments for things like retirement benefit accounts.
Estimates are now that those mechanisms will expire sometime probably in October.
Lew told members of Congress, “We believe that the measures will not be exhausted before late October, and it is likely that they will last for at least a brief additional period of time.
According to AP, the current national debt stands only pocket change – $25 million – below the limit.
Lew told Congress he wants to get his way “without controversy or brinksmanship.”
And he warned that because of the the variables in the economy, “Treasury is not able to provide a specific estimate of how long the extraordinary measures will last.”
The debt ceiling already has been raised 74 times in the last five decades, including five times so far under Obama.
Congress had passed the Temporary Debt Limit Extension Act in February 2014 and that simply suspended the debt limit for Obama. But that expired in March of this year, and the new limit of $18,113,000,000,000.00 was set.
It points out that because of the GOP majority in the U.S. House, there are 246 members, they could simply refuse to authorize additional borrowing, and trigger one of the biggest cutbacks in federal spending ever.
It also would tell the world members of Congress are addressing the “debt time bomb” that America is facing.
Launched by WND CEO Joseph Farah, the programs notes the debt limit issue is the “greatest opportunity to return American to constitutionally limited government.”
“Do you want to stop passing on debt to our children and grandchildren – money that is frittered away on useless, wasteful and unconstitutional departments, agencies and bureaucracies that benefit no one except the power brokers in Washington?” he asks. “The only option – the only game in town – is this ‘No More Red Ink’ campaign. It’s the only way for you to reach every single member of the House Republican caucus inexpensively, securely and with an investment of about one minute of your time.”
He points out it doesn’t taken any Democratic cooperation – 218 GOP members alone can halt more borrowing.

My comments: Profligate America has accumulated a DEBT that can NEVER be repaid. She has SPENT the Furture of the next generation. This is why the Antichrist will be so popular when he declares a Jubilee and forgives all National Debts with his "mark." The cost?--Your soul!
