America Sliding Into Oblivion

Noah's generation is gone. Sodom is gone. Nineveh is gone. Tyre is gone. Babylon is gone. The Grecian Empire is gone. The Roman Empire is gone . The British Empire is gone. And now the United States of America has begun its slide into oblivion, just like all the others. They were judged and humbled because of violence, godlessness, homosexuality and pride. - David Wilkerson

US State Department Promotes International Immorality

WND EXCLUSIVE

U.S. BLASTS 1 NATION OVER SEX, IGNORES ANOTHER

Polygamy, homosexuality issues becoming political hot potato - Bob Unruh

When Ugandans adopted a law that increased penalties for homosexual behavior, which violates the standards of morality in the Africa nation, news media described it as “repressive.”
Barack Obama called in a “step backward” and threatened it “will complicate our valued relationship with Uganda.” Secretary of State John F. Kerry immediately jumped into the fray, calling for a repeal.
The law, he warned, “threatens a dangerous slide backward in Uganda’s commitment to protecting the human rights of its people and a serious threat to the LGBT community in Uganda.”
But when lawmakers in neighboring Kenya passed a law that addresses a moral issue in their nation – allowing men to bring home a second or third wife without even asking the first for permission – the White House was silent. There was no word from the Obama administration despite women in the Kenyan legislature marching out in protest and human rights activists around the world expressing horror.
Katherine Pfaff of the State Department’s press duty office told WND: “We don’t have a comment on this.”
Scott Lively of Abiding Truth Ministries is in the middle of his own fight over sexual standards in Africa. He told WND that the two situations show the State Department’s advocacy for sexual license around the world.
He said the homosexual appears to have begun before Obama took office. But while it was going 20 mph in the wrong direction under President George W. Bush, under Obama it now is going 100 mph.
Lively was sued by group called Sexual Minorities Uganda. The group accuses him of damaging its members by preaching the biblical perspective on homosexuality.
They allege Lively must be punished for criticizing homosexuality, calling his speech a “crime against humanity” in violation of “international law.” While Lively’s attorneys say his speech is protected by the Constitution, the case still has to be sorted out in federal court.
Lively told WND he spotted the formal pro-homosexual advocacy of the State Department in Riga, Latvia, in 2007, when the U.S. Embassy there was spending taxpayer dollars to organize and promote a homosexual parade.
He recalls asking embassy workers why it was happening, and “they had no answer.”
Lively, whose commentary is online at ScottLively.net, said he’s convinced the State Department is “a morally corrupt entity to its core.”
We have been advancing an aggressive sexually immoral agenda around the world for a long time,” he said.
He charged that whenever there is sexual immorality to be advanced, the U.S. goes to bat. In other cases, such as when immorality already is advancing through agendas like Kenya’s polygamy, he said, the U.S. is silent.
They’re not going to criticize that,” he said. “It fits with their agenda.”
The Uganda ban on homosexual behavior was signed into law by President Yoweri-Museveni.
Homosexuality already was banned in the nation, as it is in Nigeria, and the new Ugandan law enhances sentences.
Obama had issued statements that Uganda’s law would create issues for U.S. relations, calling it “abhorrent.”
As President Obama has said, this law is more than an affront and a danger to the gay community in Uganda, it reflects poorly on the country’s commitment to protecting the human rights of its people and will undermine public health, including efforts to fight HIV/AIDS,” press secretary Jay Carney said in a statement. “We will continue to urge the Ugandan government to repeal this abhorrent law and to advocate for the protection of the universal human rights of LGBT persons in Uganda and around the world.”
Amnesty International noted that 38 of Africa’s 54 nations ban same-sex relationships.
Kerry said immediately that the $400 million an annual U.S. aid to Uganda would be reviewed “to ensure that all dimensions of our engagement, including assistance programs, uphold our anti-discrimination policies and principles and reflect our values.”
The Washington Post also reported Christian leaders in Kenya are asking the president not to sign the new polygamy plan.
Sunny Ntayombya, at All Africa, commented in an editorial: “I doubt whether any young girl imagines becoming someone’s third wife, no matter how rich and powerful he is.”
The Guardian noted that polygamy already was common among the country’s “Muslim community,” and reports document that the nation’s Muslim population is surging and now makes up about one-fifth of its citizens.
WND reported before Barack Obama’s first election that he actively campaigned on behalf of fellow Luo tribesman Raila Odinga in the presidential race in Kenya.
It was revealed that Odinga had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Muslims in the country at that point. It included provisions for Odinga to get support from Muslims and for Odinga to agree to “support Islam.”
When Odinga ultimately lost that election, Muslims ran amok, killing hundreds of Christians, sometimes even in their own churches, and Kenya created a special executive position for Odinga to bring a halt to the violence.
Lively’s longtime teaching of the biblical view of homosexuality made him a target for the SMUG organization.
Judge Michael Posner, in moving the case against Lively forward, sided with the “gays” in his first paragraph, explaining that while SMUG is made up of groups “that advocate for the fair and equal treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people,” Lively is an “American citizen residing in Springfield, Mass., who, according to the complaint, holds himself out to be an expert on what he terms the ‘gay movement.’”
The judge cited “many authorities” who “implicitly support the principle that widespread, systematic persecution of individuals based on their sexual orientation and gender identity constitutes a crime against humanity.”
He argued the assertion that Lively’s statements are protected under the First Amendment was “premature.”
Lively’s defenders note that while there may have been some actions in Uganda against homosexuals, there are no allegations of any “plausible connection between Mr. Lively and the actual perpetrators of those alleged violent acts.”

My comments: The Secular Humanists want to “normalize” behavior that is an abomination to God Almighty, His Word, His Covenant and His Commandments. In doing so they are fighting against God. It is a battle that cannot win; as they did not win in the days of Noah or the days of Sodom and Gomorrah; or as Scripture tells us they do not win at the End of the Age; the day we are living in.

The Global Warming Hoax

Global Warming Dials Up Risks, UN Report Says
By Seith Borenstein – March 30, 2014 – AP – THE BIG STORY

YOKOHAMA, Japan (AP) — If the world doesn't cut pollution of heat-trapping gases, the already noticeable harms of global warming could spiral "out of control," the head of a United Nations scientific panel warned Monday.

And he's not alone. The Obama White House says it is taking this new report as a call for action, with Secretary of State John Kerry saying "the costs of inaction are catastrophic."

Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that issued the 32-volume, 2,610-page report here early Monday, told The Associated Press: "it is a call for action." Without reductions in emissions, he said, impacts from warming "could get out of control."
One of the study's authors, Maarten van Aalst, a top official at the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, said, "If we don't reduce greenhouse gases soon, risks will get out of hand. And the risks have already risen."

Twenty-first century disasters such as killer heat waves in Europe, wildfires in the United States, droughts in Australia and deadly flooding in Mozambique, Thailand and Pakistan highlight how vulnerable humanity is to extreme weather, according to the report from the Nobel Prize-winning group of scientists. The dangers are going to worsen as the climate changes even more, the report's authors said.

"We're now in an era where climate change isn't some kind of future hypothetical," said the overall lead author of the report, Chris Field of the Carnegie Institution for Science in California. "We live in an area where impacts from climate change are already widespread and consequential."
Nobody is immune, Pachauri and other scientists said.

"We're all sitting ducks," Princeton University professor Michael Oppenheimer, one of the main authors of the report, said in an interview.
After several days of late-night wrangling, more than 100 governments unanimously approved the scientist-written 49-page summary — which is aimed at world political leaders. The summary mentions the word "risk" an average of about 5 1/2 times per page.

"Changes are occurring rapidly and they are sort of building up that risk," Field said.

These risks are both big and small, according to the report. They are now and in the future. They hit farmers and big cities. Some places will have too much water, some not enough, including drinking water. Other risks mentioned in the report involve the price and availability of food, and to a lesser and more qualified extent some diseases, financial costs and even world peace.

"Things are worse than we had predicted" in 2007, when the group of scientists last issued this type of report, said report co-author Saleemul Huq, director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development at the Independent University in Bangladesh. "We are going to see more and more impacts, faster and sooner than we had anticipated."

The problems have gotten so bad that the panel had to add a new and dangerous level of risks. In 2007, the biggest risk level in one key summary graphic was "high" and colored blazing red. The latest report adds a new level, "very high," and colors it deep purple.
You might as well call it a "horrible" risk level, said van Aalst: "The horrible is something quite likely, and we won't be able to do anything about it."

The report predicts that the highest level of risk would first hit plants and animals, both on land and the acidifying oceans.
Climate change will worsen problems that society already has, such as poverty, sickness, violence and refugees, according to the report. And on the other end, it will act as a brake slowing down the benefits of a modernizing society, such as regular economic growth and more efficient crop production, it says.

"In recent decades, changes in climate have caused impacts on natural and human systems on all continents and across the oceans," the report says.

And if society doesn't change, the future looks even worse, it says: "Increasing magnitudes of warming increase the likelihood of severe, pervasive, and irreversible impacts."

While the problems from global warming will hit everyone in some way, the magnitude of the harm won't be equal, coming down harder on people who can least afford it, the report says. It will increase the gaps between the rich and poor, healthy and sick, young and old, and men and women, van Aalst said.

But the report's authors say this is not a modern day version of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Much of what they warn of are more nuanced troubles that grow by degrees and worsen other societal ills. The report also concedes that there are uncertainties in understanding and predicting future climate risks.

The report, the fifth on warming's impacts, includes risks to the ecosystems of the Earth, including a thawing Arctic, but it is far more oriented to what it means to people than past versions.

The report also notes that one major area of risk is that with increased warming, incredibly dramatic but ultra-rare single major climate events, sometimes called tipping points, become more possible with huge consequences for the globe. These are events like the melting of the Greenland ice sheet, which would take more than 1,000 years.

"I can't think of a better word for what it means to society than the word 'risk,'" said Virginia Burkett of the U.S. Geological Survey, one of the study's main authors. She calls global warming "maybe one of the greatest known risks we face."

Global warming is triggered by heat-trapping gases, such as carbon dioxide, that stay in the atmosphere for a century. Much of the gases still in the air and trapping heat came from the United States and other industrial nations. China is now by far the No. 1 carbon dioxide polluter, followed by the United States and India.

Unlike in past reports, where the scientists tried to limit examples of extremes to disasters that computer simulations can attribute partly to man-made warming, this version broadens what it looks at because it includes the larger issues of risk and vulnerability, van Aalst said.
Freaky storms like 2013's Typhoon Haiyan, 2012's Superstorm Sandy and 2008's ultra-deadly Cyclone Nargis may not have been caused by warming, but their fatal storm surges were augmented by climate change's ever rising seas, he said.

And in the cases of the big storms like Haiyan, Sandy and Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the poor were the most vulnerable, Oppenheimer and van Aalst said. The report talks about climate change helping create new pockets of poverty and "hotspots of hunger" even in richer countries, increasing inequality between rich and poor.

Report co-author Maggie Opondo of the University of Nairobi said that especially in places like Africa, climate change and extreme events mean "people are going to become more vulnerable to sinking deeper into poverty." And other study authors talked about the fairness issue with climate change.

"Rich people benefit from using all these fossil fuels," University of Sussex economist Richard Tol said. "Poorer people lose out."
Huq said he had hope because richer nations and people are being hit more, and "when it hits the rich, then it's a problem" and people start acting on it.

Part of the report talks about what can be done: reducing carbon pollution and adapting to and preparing for changing climates with smarter development.

The report echoes an earlier U.N. climate science panel that said if greenhouse gases continue to rise, the world is looking at another about 6 or 7 degrees Fahrenheit (3.5 or 4 degrees Celsius) of warming by 2100 instead of the international goal of not allowing temperatures to rise more than 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1.2 degrees Celsius). The difference between those two outcomes, Princeton's Oppenheimer said, "is the difference between driving on an icy road at 30 mph versus 90 mph. It's risky at 30, but deadly at 90."

Tol, who is in the minority of experts here, had his name removed from the summary because he found it "too alarmist," harping too much on risk.

But the panel vice chairman, Jean-Pascal van Ypersele, said that's not quite right: "We are pointing for reasons for alarm ... It's because the facts and the science and the data show that there are reasons to be alarmed. It's not because we're alarmist."

The report is based on more than 12,000 peer reviewed scientific studies. Michel Jarraud, secretary general of the World Meteorological Organization, a co-sponsor of the climate panel, said this report was "the most solid evidence you can get in any scientific discipline."

Michael Mann, a climate scientist at Pennsylvania State University who wasn't part of this report, said he found the report "very conservative" because it is based on only peer reviewed studies and has to be approved unanimously.

There is still time to adapt to some of the coming changes and reduce heat-trapping emissions, so it's not all bad, said study co-author Patricia Romero-Lankao of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado.

"We have a closing window of opportunity," she said. "We do have choices. We need to act now."

My comments: The greatest threat to mankind is their SIN against God Almighty. Today, every nation is godless, like in the days of Noah. We are at the End of the Age and mankind is about to accept Satan's son as their "savior." The Whole World will worship him and receive his "mark," thereby condemning themselves to Eternal Death. Then God begins His Great Tribulation, now that is something to fear! Global Warming is a Hoax, invented by Satan to distract mankind from the real issue of this day, SIN, and to give the UN COMPLETE CONTROL over the nations! Satan needs COMPLETE CONTROL to reveal his son as the "savior" of the world.

I believe Jesus is coming very soon
Dear Tom,

I believe Jesus is coming very soon. We do not know exactly when, but time is surely growing short.

“Of the day and hour knows no man, no not even the angels in heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“When you see all these things, know that He is near, even at the door” (Matthew 24:33).

All signs point to another Middle East war against Israel. The march to Jerusalem has begun. Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled on the front pages of the newspaper. Jesus foretold that kingdoms would rise up against kingdoms. This is happening now in the Middle East.

If you listen carefully to the voice of the Spirit, you will hear the echo of eternity and a call from heaven to touch things beyond the grave. You will hear your spirit respond, “Even so come, Lord Jesus.”

The prophet Isaiah described our time as “darkness covering the earth, and gross darkness the people.” He also declared, “The Lord shall arise upon thee and His glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:2).

Look up, for our redemption is drawing nigh!

The almost-daily attacks from terrorists and the looming specter of Iran's nuclear weapons program are not the only threats Israel faces. The forces pushing the “peace plan” to curse Israel are strong and determined in their plan. If we do not stand and raise our voices now, it will soon be too late. They have a demonic strategy birthed in hell by Satan to divide the city of Jerusalem. You and I have come into the kingdom for such a time as this just as ancient Esther did in the Old Testament. The cry of David is echoing throughout eternity, “Is there not a cause?” Will you send your gift of love and compassion for the Jewish People today?

Your gift of support today for the Jerusalem Prayer Team is a vital witness of Christian love to the entire nation of Israel.

For the 30 days of April, I will be spending time in prayer and fasting each day for the financial miracle we need to complete Israel's first Christian museum—the Friends of Zion World Heritage Center.

While I am fasting and praying, I have also been directed to pray for your most important prayer request. I urge you to share it with me today (see link below), so that even before the month of prayer and fasting begins, I can start praying for you. I believe God is going to work great miracles—both for the Jerusalem Prayer Team and in your life as well—and I don't want you to miss out on this opportunity for us to see God do great things together.

Today, I am asking you to join me in standing for the Jewish People at this critical hour with your gift of support for the Jerusalem Prayer Team.

God Almighty: Our Hiding Place

I must share with you what God spoke to me today
Dear Tom,

As I prayed for you today, the Lord spoke clearly to me from Psalm 32:7: “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” (NKJV).

As chairman of the board of the Corrie ten Boom Holocaust Museum in Holland, a part of our ministry which we restored almost 30 years ago, I am pleased that we have been able to keep the doors open at no charge to visitors. When I met with Corrie ten Boom over dinner in 1972, the first words out of her mouth were from that scripture God spoke to my spirit this morning. That is why she called the secret room behind her bed “The Hiding Place.” It was there that 800 Jewish lives were saved. Some of them are still living in Israel today, thanks to the ten Boom family, most of whom gave their lives to save the Chosen People.

Soon, thanks to your love and generosity, we will open the first Christian museum in Israel to tell the story of Corrie and her family—and so many more. This will be a great lighthouse of love for the nation of Israel and the entire world.

When David referred to a hiding place, he was referring to a den, a cave, or a secret chamber where a man could hide from danger. Beloved, we have a hiding place from stress, a heavenly shelter in the time of storms where you can be shut in with God in a secret place, there in the Spirit, beholding His face. That hiding place is the Lord. David declares, “There the Lord surrounded me with joyous songs of salvation, deliverance.” Go to your hiding place, that place the angels of the Lord inhabit.

The Hebrew word “preserve” means to guard, protect, and keep. You are kept by the precious blood of Jesus and the Word of the Living God and the sweet Holy Spirit. In the fall when I was young, I would help my mother as she canned pickles and fruits. The seals were very tight to preserve the food through the winter months. She always had me tighten the lids on the jars to seal them for her. You are preserved through the winter seasons of your life through the precious, nail-scarred hands of the Savior. Rejoice today in His goodness for you! And please do your part to reach out in love to the people of Israel with your gift for the Jerusalem Prayer Team today.

There is great opportunity for us to show God's love to His Chosen People if we act right now.

For the 30 days of April, I will be spending time in prayer and fasting each day for the financial miracle we need to complete Israel's first Christian museum—the Friends of Zion World Heritage Center.
