God Is A Consuming Fire!

Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken,

Let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,

For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28)

This is the unspoken reality of God.

Today, most of those who preach the Word of God are so “modern”

They do not speak of this REALITY. As if God had changed.

'I the Lord do not change. (Malachi 3:6)

If you are a Christian you must conform your life to this REALITY.

Today, the Church has lost their AWE of God.

They do not tremble at His Word, which are the only people God esteems.

'This the one I esteem: He who is humble and contrite in spirit,

And trembles at My Word.' (Isaiah 66:2)

Do you tremble at His Word?

Do you tremble at the fact that God will soon judge every living person

By the FIRE of His Holiness.

But you say the blood of Jesus has covered my sin.

Yes, and it covered the sin of the Five Foolish Virgins

Upon their confession of faith.

But they did not die and go the Heaven at that moment.

They went on to live and did not acquire the “oil” they needed

To receive the Bridegroom when He came.

And the “door” was shut to them. (Matthew 25)

But you say, I worked hard for the Lord, I persevere.

I cannot tolerate wicked men;

I have tested those who claim to be apostles and found them false.

I have persevered and endured hardships for the Lord

And have not grown weary.

Yet, if you have lost your “FIRST LOVE” you are lost. (Revelation 2)

You were saved to OVERCOME this world and it's wicked ruler;

This world that is condemned and dead in it's SIN.

Yes, the blood of Jesus did cover your sins before you came to Christ.

And it covers all those subsequent sins you repented of.

But it does not cover your willful sin.

If you do not live “in” and “for” Christ Jesus you are in willful sin!

You are as lost as you were before you made your confession of faith.

You were given the POWER of the Holy Spirit to live a Holy life.

If you do not live a Holy life before God, the Consuming FIRE,

You will be consumed! Along with this wicked world.

It is the CONSUMING FIRE of God that maintains the Holiness of Heaven.

If Heaven were not Holy, it would not be Heaven.

God is not a politician! He does not compromise! He never changes!

He is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8)

Do not be deceived, the marshmallow preachers of today;

Those who preach the goodness of God,

But fail to preach the Holiness of God, are in danger of Hell's fire!

Along with those they deceive by their preaching.

The apostle Paul addresses this issue:

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.

Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them

A great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

They will turn their ears away from the TRUTH and turn aside to myths.

(2 timothy 4:3-4)

And so there are today, A GREAT NUMBER of false teachers

Telling Christians what they want to hear.

Appealing to what their ITCHING EARS want to hear.

I pray that those who read this

Are not among those with itching ears;

Wanting to hear only that which appeals to the sinful nature.

Hell will be populated with such people.

If you do not KNOW God as a CONSUMING FIRE as well as LOVE

You need to open The Word of God and seek Him.

You have but One Teacher, the Christ! (Matthew 23:10)

The Holy Spirit will lead you into ALL TRUTH! (John 16:13)

ALL who seek God will find Him! When they seek Him will all their heart.

(Jeremiah 29:13)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.

A man reaps what he sows.

The one who sows to please his sinful nature,

From that nature will reap destruction;

The one who sows to please the Spirit,

From the Spirit will reap Eternal LIFE.

Let us not become weary in dong good, for at the proper time

We will reap a harvest IF we do not give up.

Therefore, let us do good to all people,

Especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:7-10)

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
