MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST

And you [He made Alive],

When you were dead [slain]

By [your] trespasses ans Sins

(Every person is born dead to God

And is only made Alive by being Born Again,

Born of the Spirit of God, Who Alone is LIFE.)

2 In which at one time you walked habitually.

You were following the course and fashion of this World--

Were under the Sway of the tendency of this Present Age--

Following the Prince of the power of the Air (Satan)

(You were obedient to him and were under his control,)

The [Demon] spirit

That still constantly works in the sons of Disobedience--

The careless, the Rebellious and the Unbelieving,

Who go Against the purposes of God.

(Ephesians 2:1-2, AMP)

(The apostle Paul has just described

EVERYONE who is not Born Again

And who is not living IN and FOR Christ.

The Whole World is under the Control of Satan [1 John 5:19].)

Why has the World always been a Mess.

It is ruled by the one who came to Steal, Kill and Destroy.

Men talk about Civilization--This is a prideful LIE.

The only Civilizing Agent in this Wicked World is Christ,

And those in whom He dwells.

This is a Reality that the Church has been Silent on,

Yet this is the Fundamental Context of this life,

And has been since the Fall of Adam and Eve.

The Church is Silent about this

Because it Offends the Culture.

In this sense the Church has been Political.

We dare not tell our Children this Truth,

Because we want them to be successful in the Culture.

And we must ask ourselves to What End?

Does this not belie our Faith,

As Heaven must be our Goal,

And that of our Children.

How many of our Children are taught:

'Come out from them and be separate,'

Says the Lord.

'Touch no unclean thing,

And I will receive you.

I will be a Father to you,

And you will be My sons and daughters,'

Says the Lord Almighty.

(2 Corinthians 6:17-18)

Do not be yoked together with Unbelievers.

For what do Righteousness and Wickedness

Have in common?

Or what Fellowship can Light have with darkness?

What harmony is thee between Christ and Belial?

What does a Believer

Have in common with an Unbeliever?

What agreement is there

Between the Temple of God and Idols?

As God has said:

'I will live with them

And walk among them,

And I will be their God,

And they will be my people.'

(2 Corinthians 6:14-16)

If there is to be Hope for Believers,

In this Last of the Last Day of Time,

They are going to have to be Separate.
