WE WILL HAVE A RESURRECTED BODY

Hello Friend, The Bible says that our resurrection bodies will resemble the resurrection body of Christ. Think of it! In 1 John 3:2 we read, “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” After Jesus’ resurrection, He would suddenly appear in a room without using a door. And we also know that Jesus ascended through the air, higher and higher, until He disappeared from sight into the clouds. Does that mean we will be able to walk through walls or fly through the air in our new bodies? Hard to say. What will the afterlife truly be like? I can only imagine. That’s the title of a song written by my friend Bart Millard: “I Can Only Imagine.” I’m sure you’ve heard it, but did you know that Bart wrote that song while thinking of his dad being in Heaven? Bart’s father, who abused him terribly in his younger years, eventually came to know Christ and changed to become Bart’s close friend and role model. His transformation is mind-blowing and Bart has written about it in his new book, I Can Only Imagine. You have to read his story.
