HELP FIGHT THE SPLC

THURSDAY, JAN 18, 2018 SPLC lawsuit update Dear Friend, Right now, as you read this email, the Southern Poverty Law Center is raising millions of dollars through fear-mongering and hate-labeling. As you know, the SPLC has placed D. James Kennedy Ministries on their “hate map,” labeling us a “hate group” for our adherence to the Biblical view of marriage and sexuality. But we will not be bullied or silenced by their slanderous tactics.  The SPLC would like nothing more than for Bible-believing, practicing Christians, like you and me, to keep our beliefs to ourselves.  But, I commit to you that this ministry will continue to preach the “whole counsel of God.” That is why we filed suit against the Southern Poverty Law Center, because their tactics are aimed at marginalizing and defunding organizations whose views they disagree with.  It’s their modus operandi and they are enriching their coffers daily, already having a reported $300 million dollars in funding. We need your help. Immediately ahead are important pre-trial hearings that will enable us to move to the critical “discovery phase” where SPLC must disclose the basis for its so-called “Hate Map” determination.  This discovery phase will be enormously expensive, and the SPLC may try to use its wealth advantage to conduct what attorneys sometimes call “punitive discovery,” – exhausting our much smaller resources through a flurry of frivolous requests for information.  Will you help us? We are taking a stand for religious liberty for all of us including our children and grandchildren.
