WHO WILL GO TO HEAVEN?

The one-third

Are we in the one-third or the two thirds? Zech 13:8 NKJV

These past weeks God has been saying that what about those that will be with Me in heaven? Who will it be and how many will it be, and how many will not be? 

God placed in me that only a remnant will be with Him and the figure He gave me was one-third. But I said, GOD did you not say that you desire all to be with you and also did Jesus not pray that all you gave Him he would not lose? As I prayed and sought God for a word that confirmed what He was saying. God told me to search for the word one-third in the Bible concordances and low and behold up it came and the first scripture in my search was Zech 13: 7, along with scripture in Revelation 8: and 9: 

This word is not for us to say, who will and who will not go to Heaven for we are not to judge others, but to cause us to think of our relationship and our salvation with God.

Now just so you know God’s heart is breaking over so many that have turned their backs on Him and made their ways of living and thinking to be His ways and rules for living and eternity with Him and not His commands and precepts their way of living. And even though God knew the ending at the beginning He still loves His creation.

The following scripture is used much as the scripture prophecy of God striking His Son in the crucifixion and there for making a way for us to have redemption from sin through Jesus dying for our sins. However through the years of walking and studying God’s word I have learned that most of the word of God holds more than just one meaning and understanding of God’s word and teaching. So let us look at the following scripture here and receive a deeper understanding of God word.

Zech 13:7-9 NKJV

7 "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion," Says the Lord of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones. 8 And it shall come to pass in all the land," Says the Lord, "That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it: 9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.'"

To get the full depth of some of the phrase in these scriptures let us look at the Hebrew words and meaning for each word. 

The Shepherd OT:7462  ra`ah (raw-aw'); a primitive root; to tend a flock; i.e. pasture it; intransitively, to graze (literally or figuratively); generally to rule; by extension, to associate with (as a friend):

KJV -  break, companion, keep company with, devour, eat up, evil entreat, feed, use as a friend, make friendship with, herdman, keep [sheeper]-), pastor, shearing house, shepherd, wander, waste.

Shall come to pass OT:1961  hayah (haw-yaw); a primitive root [compare OT:1933]; to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary):

KJV - beacon, altogether, be (-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, follow, happen, have, last, pertain, quit (oneself-), require, use.

In all OT:3605  kol (kole); or (Jer 33:8) kowl (kole); from OT:3634; properly, the whole; hence, all, any or every (in the singular only, but often in a plural sense):

KJV - (in) all (manner, [ye]), altogether, any (manner), enough, every (one, place, thing), howsoever, as many as, [no-] thing, ought, whatsoever, (the) whole, whoso (-ever).

The land OT:776  'erets (eh'-rets); from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):

KJV -  common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, wilderness, world.

"That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,

shall be cut off OT:3772 karath (kaw-rath'); a primitive root; to cut (off, down or asunder); by implication, to destroy or consume; specifically, to covenant (i.e. make an alliance or bargain, originally by cutting flesh and passing between the pieces):

KJV - be chewed, be con- [feder-] ate, covenant, cut (down, off), destroy, fail, feller, be freed, hew (down), make a league ([covenant]), lose, perish, utterly, want.

Die OT:1478  gava` (gaw-vah'); a primitive root; to breathe out, i.e. (by implication) expire:

KJV - die, be dead, give up the ghost, perish.

But the third OT:7992  sheliyshiy (shel-ee-shee'); ordinal from OT:7969; third; feminine a third (part); by extension, a third (day, year or time); specifically, a third-story cell):

KJV - third (part, rank, time), three (years old).

Shall be left OT:3498  yathar (yaw-thar'); a primitive root; to jut over or exceed; by implication, to excel; (intransitively) to remain or be left; causatively, to leave, cause to abound, preserve:

KJV - excel, leave (a remnant), left behind, too much, make plenteous, preserve, (be, let) remain (-der, -ing, -nant), reserve, residue, rest.

And I will bring OT:935 bow' (bo); a primitive root; to go or come (in a wide variety of applications):

KJV - abide, apply, attain, be, befall, besiege, bring (forth, in, into, to pass), call, carry, certainly, (cause, let, thing for) to come (against, in, out, upon, to pass), depart, doubtless again, eat, employ, (cause to) enter (in, into, -tering, -trance, -try), be fallen, fetch, follow, get, give, go (down, in, to war), grant, have, indeed, [in-] vade, lead, lift [up], mention, pull in, put, resort, run (down), send, set, (well) stricken [in age], surely, take (in), way.

Through the fire OT:784 'esh (aysh); a primitive word; fire (literally or figuratively):

KJV - burning, fiery, fire, flaming, hot.

And will refine them OT:6884  tsaraph (tsaw-raf'); a primitive root; to fuse (metal), i.e. refine (literally or figuratively):

KJV - cast, (re-) fine (-er), founder, goldsmith, melt, pure, purge away, try.

And will try them OT:974  bachan (baw-khan'); a primitive root; to test (especially metals); generally and figuratively, to investigate:

KJV - examine, prove, tempt, try (trial).

So as we have looked and gained a deeper understanding of God’s word let us take count of ourselves and drew into the comfort of God as children of God following his way and living in His commands and precepts. 

All one has to do is open our eyes and see all the chaos and destruction around us and know there is something drastically happening to this world that God made for His children that he loved so much. 

Now the time is coming near when God will not put up with all the hate, destruction and chaos and end it with judgment and wrath upon all the evil. 

To see and understand just what this is just read the rest of Zech 14: to the end and Revelation 8: & 12: And so you may be living rightly with God and for God, but you don’t like what is happening in the world around you and all the lost souls who are causing all this destruction and chaos and you want to be involved? 

Well being out there in protest and marches as the world does is not what a believer is to do for I have not found anywhere in the word of God that says we are to demonstrate and march as the world. 

But God does say what we are to come together in unity and with prayer in our secret place with Him and what God sees and hears from us in the secret place with Him He will answer openly to us.

The time of the end is coming and God knows just how and when it will happen, we need to be in Him and with Him in all of his commands and precepts.  

So stand upon this scripture, Ps 91:9-13 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.  12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
