The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) – a left-wing extremist fundraising juggernaut – is inciting anti-Christian violence by placing "hate group" labels on organizations whose beliefs and convictions run counter to their own twisted ideology.
And ... because of the SPLC's misguided labeling of "hate groups," other organizations using the SPLC's wrongful label make NO DIFFERENTIATION between racist or violent groups and legitimate organizations that participate peacefully in the political process, or those of us who hold to biblical standards for our views on marriage, family, and homosexuality.
As we have seen, malicious labels and conflicting ideologies can lead to extremism and ultimately violence. Liberty Counsel's legal team is working to stop the SPLC's labeling of us and to ensure that other organizations, like GuideStar,cease and desist in their usage of the SPLC's malicious designation.

On issues of family and marriage, Christians are literally in the crosshairs of radical homosexual activists, and the SPLC is fueling the hatred and providing the targets. The SPLC should be held accountable for its reckless acts.
+ + The SPLC continues to ignore warnings about its dangerous and false labeling.
This malicious labeling has fueled increased threats against Liberty Counsel's staff and me, and forced us to take additional security measures.
I cannot allow the SPLC, or the ACLU, or any anti-faith, anti-family group to demean or attack pro-faith, pro-family individuals and organizations. GuideStar, the SPLC, and other groups must be exposed and must be held accountable for their anti-faith attacks.
In order to stand against these deep-pocketed bullies, I need your help to meet a serious summer budget shortfall.Specifically, we need at least $25,000 this week to help get us back on track.

It is shameful that Christians who believe in natural marriage have been isolated by radical homosexual activists and demonized as "homophobes" and "haters." If, God forbid, SPLC "hate group" propaganda leads to another act of left-wing terrorism like the ones that took place at the Family Research Counsel (FRC) and at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, this dangerous group should be held legally liable!
