APPLY THE BLOOD

I know that I was not redeemed with corruptible things, but with the precious blood of Christ.
In the entire Bible, no blood except the blood of Jesus is called precious. Millions of animals had been slaughtered to atone for sin, but their blood was not precious. The Old Testament sacrifices of Israel were simply poured away at the sides of the altars—powerless. Suppose you have a table with a big stain on its surface. When visitors come, you cover the stain with a tablecloth so that nobody will notice it. The stain is covered, but not removed. This is the meaning of the Old Testament word “atonement”—“covered.” The rivers of blood of millions of sacrificial animals were not able to take away sin, but only to cover it for a while. That is the reason why John the Baptist was so excited when he saw Jesus come to the River Jordan, and cried:
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29).
Jesus’ blood works under the tablecloth and behind every one of our facades. It tackles the root sins and problems of all people who put their faith in Jesus Christ.
The blood of the Lamb of God alone has value and power to save.

An apostasy within the Church of God is currently under way. This will all reach a climax with Satan revealing his Antichrist and requiring that everyone worship him; That every one receive his "mark" in order to buy or sell; The new currency of the New World Order, the New Tower of Babel.
