SUDAN “The Need Is Always Greater”
|In the Nuba Mountains of southern Sudan, Christians sleep in caves as protection from bombings by their own government — a government built on radical Islamist ideology and led by a man indicted for war crimes.|
Yet these Christians refuse to give up their faith in Christ, and they count on brothers and sisters like us to stand with them and provide help and hope in their time of need. The Voice of the Martyrs is providing Bibles, medical supplies, Action Packs and other assistance to these Christians in Sudan.
|Providing Bibles to Sudanese Christians is a vital way of strengthening their faith and preparing them to endure persecution. God’s Word gives our brothers and sisters help and hope as their government works to Islamize or eliminate them. The Bibles also help them share Christ’s love with those around them — even their persecutors.|
Kuti, one of the pastors working with VOM to distribute Bibles and other aid in the Nuba Mountains, said Christians there need our help. “The need is always greater,” he said.
This month we invite you to help meet their need by making a contribution to support our brothers and sisters in Sudan. Join us in standing with Christians in Sudan and in praying for God’s protection and blessings on them.
